Dads In Love Pt.3

Over the course of a month, Stevie and Riley became BFF's. They hung out at each other's houses all the time, there were sleepovers almost every weekend. Today was one of those sleepover weekends. The girls were in Stevie's room playing a My Little Pony edition of Monopoly, while their dads hung out in the living room playing poker...using monopoly money to bet with.

"D*mn it." Bucky muttered when he lost.

"Hahaha, I'm rich!" Sam laughed, scooping up the colorful money.

"Dude, it's just play money." Bucky pouted  folding his arms.

"Your just jealous that you didn't win." Sam chuckled.

"Now watch me make it rain." he added before throwing the fake money into the air.

"Clean this mess up while I make dinner." Bucky said getting up from the couch.

After the four of them eat dinner, they watch The Mitchells vs The Machines. They were currently watching the scene where the mom went in mama-bear mode and started tearing apart the robots.

"Haha, reminds me of my mama." Sam chuckled quietly to Bucky.

"Mine too." Bucky replied.

When the movie was over, they sent the girls to bed.

"So, are you gonna head home, or do you wanna stay a little longer?" Bucky asked Sam.

"Sure, I'll stay...hey, maybe we can have our own little sleepover." Sam suggested.

"Okay." Bucky said, laughing lightly.

Sam was really glad he had dark skin, so that Bucky couldn't see him blushing. He adores Bucky's laugh...and his company. The more time he spends with him, the more intense his crush on him was. The two of them watched a less kid-friendly movie then Bucky took out a small bottle of wine that a coworker gave him as a house warming gift.

"Wow, dinner, movie, and now wine? If there wasn't two kids sleeping in the other room, I woulda thought this was a date." Sam joked as Bucky poured some wine into two glasses.

Bucky just laughs off the comment and hands Sam his glass of wine. After about two glasses of wine, the two dads were a bit tipsy.

"Okay, okay, l-let's stop before we get t-too drunk. We got responsibibities." Bucky slurred, giggling.

"Pfft, HAHAHA!" Sam laughed at Bucky's mispronunciation of the word "responsibilities".

"Shhhh! You'll wake up the girls." Bucky whisper-shouted floppily covering Sam's mouth with his hand.

Sam's laughter dies down, leaving him just staring into Bucky's eyes as he leans in a little too close.

"God you're hot." Sam blurted out.

"W-whaa?" Bucky chuckled confused.

"You're so beautiful, all I wanna do is kiss your face." Sam said leaning closer to Bucky's face.

Clearly, the alcohol was giving Sam a little too much confidence and he was word-vomiting all of his romantic feelings for Bucky. Meanwhile, Riley woke up and had to use the bathroom, on her way back from the bathroom, she takes a glance into the living room and saw her dad kiss Stevie's dad. She gasps then quietly rushes back to Stevie's room.

"Stevie! Stevie, wake up!" Riley whispered shaking Stevie.

"Rileyyyy, what is iiiit." Stevie groaned and whined sleepily.

"I just saw my Papa kissing your Daddy." Riley told her.

"*gasp* No way!" Stevie gasped shocked.

"Does this mean we'll be sisters!?" she asked excitedly.

"I think so!" Riley nodded, smiling widely.

They squeal quietly, hugging each other, then back to sleep before their dads could catch them being up too late. The next day, Sam and Bucky woke up on the couch and immediately remembered everything.

"Bucky....I'm so sorry about last night." Sam apologized.

"No, it was my fault, I'm the one who brought out the alcohol." Bucky argued.

"Is it true? Do you...like me that way?" he asked.

"Yeah...I do. But I didn't say anything because I know you're still having a hard time with your divorce, and I wasn't even sure if you liked men...or me, even." Sam replied looking down at his lap.

"Well, just for the record, I do like men. And I do care about you...but I'm just not sure if I can give you what you deserve right now. Do you understand?" Bucky explained.

"Of course I understand, and whatever happens, I'll still be your friend." Sam nodded.

The rest of the day was less awkward and they never brought up the kissing incident. To the girls' disappointment, their dads weren't dating....yet. They still had some hope that they'll get together eventually...they just had to figure out a way to..."help" them.

"Should we do something like in that old movie, Parent Trap?" Stevie suggested.

"Yeah! That's a perfect idea...sis!" Riley giggled.

"Whatcha girls talking about?" Bucky asked them.

"Nothing!" both of them answered quickly.

A couple days later, Bucky got a call from the school saying that Stevie got into a fight with another kid on the playground at recess. When he got to the school, he bumped into Sam, who got a call about Riley getting into the same fight. They figured that one of them joined the fight to defend the other. They also knew that there was no way in h*ll that either of the girls started this fight, they were too well behaved. In the principal's office was the principal, Miss Lewis, Stevie, Riley, a little blonde boy with a bloody nose and busted lip, and a blonde man who was clearly the boy's father. The boy's father looked pissed, his face almost red with anger...Sam and Bucky just knew that this guy was probably gonna cause a scene.
