This is the voting event for the new story I may or may not be deciding to publish on this account, or my future account I'm creating or the AO3 account - but for sure this book is being publish eventually.

For those who are new here, hello and welcome on choosing a character/ship for this story!!

So I have a general idea of the story, however I have no idea of who the characters could be; as in the main characters, like at all.

So this is how the voting process would be;

- First round (this round); I will write the description of the story, then give a description of each character. You will comment under Person A and B who you visualize as the character. Could be anyone, it's not strictly BTS members, could be anyone.

- Second Round (in 36 hours); Top Three for Person A and Person B will be shown, if there's a tie, we will do a tie breaker

- Third Round (36 Hours); Top two for each character, follow by a scene in order to see who stands out more.

- Winner will be revealed as who won as Person A and Person B.

So before we get to do more voting, let me briefly go over the rules:

Rule #1

Voting will be based on the amount of times a name was repeated by different users.

For instance-

@/12244: I vote Jimin
@/98765: I vote Jungkook

They're two different votes, so you will say a name and that'll be your vote.

Does that make sense?

Top three highest chosen person will move onto the next round.

Rule #2

Anyone can participate! Have fun with it!

Rule #3

You CANNOT vote twice. You have to vote once and it has to be a firm vote. If I see you repeating votes, I will delete it to only show one of your votes, this has to be fair for everyone.

Rule #4

I will repeat; spam votes will not be counted. I will delete comments who are blasting the comment section just to have the numbers up. We have to make this fair for everyone. I will only keep one of your comments if you spam

Now, what is this story about? LET'S SEE!

Person A is a Marine veteran, finally able to return home for the holidays after serving for six years of his deployment.

Coming back to his family is what he was looking forward to the most, especially his wife and little girl he left behind.

What he didn't expect was coming back to a blood bath of his entire family - Mother, Father, siblings and his wife and child; all dead.

A fresh kill before he got home.

And the only clue he had was of a white rose tainted in the bloody floor, and his neighbor - Person B - who heard the screams from his home and called the police.

After being interrogated by the authorities, Person A was now left grieving in silence in this lonely holiday season.

But, perhaps not as alone as he thought.

Person B and his family welcomed him into their home with open arms, since they were close to his family; just so he won't be so alone during this period.

Person A was grateful for that, but it was difficult to leave behind and forget the evident killer that could be lurking in the shadows of his family's death.

So Person B - who was a retired detective - decided to help him investigate while also willing to helping the officials.

Secrets came into light, family altercations and dark world involvement, romance burning the air, all in this Christmas season.

And the question still lingers in the air, who is the killer?

Okayyyyy how are we feeling about this? This is the description as of now, but before you make a decision, let me describe each character and go over the basics of the story to get more of an idea.

Story Notes:
- Switch
- Mystery/Thriller
- Has romance but I can't say if the characters will end up together or not, haven't decided.
- Lots of suspense, similar to Unsteady kind of vibes
- It's giving more dark academia vibes, but not school related
-Heavy mature writing

Now, onto the description of the characters:

Person A (Comment here):
-Marine Corps Veteran, was deployed in Japan for four years and has been serving in total of six years.
- Was a father and husband, really adored his family, yet has grown emotionally detached
- Is facing various forms of PTSD and Depersonalization (Often times doesn't feel like himself or if he's in control of his body) symptoms - has occasional mood swings and paranoia.
- Hides emotions, has a steady and firm personality, especially after being discharged
- Dissociates often
- Tries to be kind, but had a very strong and blunt personality

Person B (Comment Here):
- Calm and collected mentally and emotionally
- Always has an emotionless stare in his eyes
- Smokes often
- Very vividly smart, attentive to small details
- Single
- Has a condescending and almost sarcastic sense of humor
- Retired Detective
- Has a habit of muttering to himself
- Has both a graceful yet rough aura, manners of a true gentleman
- Isn't easily amused by anything
- Talks what's necessary, wouldn't say he beats around the bush
- Doesn't trust anyone and prefers being alone

Alright so these are the descriptions of the characters. Choose wisely please, I really want someone who can truly bring these characters to life. This isn't about the ship, it's about who you can visualize them as.

While we're at it, I also will need your help choosing the story cover. It's pretty much the same but the fonts are different.
