I didn't see another person until light was shining through the window. While I was panicking slightly, exhaustion took me back to sleep. I woke up again to the feeling of breathing on my face. "Mm, not today..." I groaned softly as I attempted to roll over and pull my sheets up over my face.

The sheet didn't move, and I heard a chuckle, "If not today then when? You can't stay in bed again Tasnia." A familiar voice mocked me. "Also, I brought you a friend. Figured it would lift your spirits, plus he was growling at my guards."

I didn't understand. "What are you on about?" I mumbled as I opened my eyes and I let out a scream seeing I was face to face with a white dog. Fear instantly woke me up, and I sat up despite the pain radiating through my back. I pushed myself against the bed and ended up falling off. I let out another scream, this time in pain. The Voorat sat on the edge of the bed and looked at me with a tilted head. My feet were on the bed and I was laid back on the ground trying to put as much space between the two of us. "Wh-What is it doing here?" I asked terrified, waiting for it to attack again.

Kieran seemed just as confused as the dog was, "Tasnia, it's your pet? It attacked back on Earth because I was scaring you, it didn't mean to hurt you. It has been worried about you the entire time, waiting for you to come back to it." He explained to me and I stayed frozen on the ground. Kieran sighed and nodded, "Too much at once, got it." He muttered before looking to the white Voorat on my bed. "Someone, leave, she doesn't want you here."

The dog whimpered and started to circle on the bed. I slowly brought my bare legs down and I curled up on the floor realizing I wasn't wearing much clothing. "Someone? That's his name?"

"You didn't know?" Kieran sounded confused, but when I glanced at him and slowly shook my head, he sighed once again. "Most Voorat's have a general name, something that the Master can call out when they're in trouble which no one will question. The other Voorat which attacked was Anyone, and I am sorry to say that he is dead." He paused and when I didn't reply he added, "You really didn't know?"

I shook my head looking up Kieran before glancing to Someone, "You know I don't know stuff like this. Plus, if I knew it would attack, why would I use myself as a human shield instead of just telling it off?" I protested, it wasn't my fault that no one had explained this to me. "Will he hurt me?"

"Never," Kieran said almost instantly, and he knelt down beside me. "Don't be scared, he is your pet, he will listen to anything you say. Tell him to leave and never come back and that's what he will do." I continued to stare at Someone and my breathing became erratic which Kieran seemed to notice. It was too much at once between Roman last night and now Kieran with Someone. "Tasnia, it's okay, just breathe."

When Kieran reached out to place a hand on my back, I slapped his hand away and pushed myself against the floor away from him. "Get out."

Kieran froze for a second as he glanced to Someone, "You heard her-"

"Both of you. Leave, now." I begged of them, I needed some time alone where I was awake and able to comprehend what was happening. I had gone to Winter-Hawking looking for answers, but the answers I got were to questions I never asked. I wanted to know who I was, and that was still one question I didn't have an answer to.

Kieran stood back up and sighed, "Tasnia, you don't want to be alone right now, not after what happened. Let me stay, we can sit on the bed and talk, get you some answers." He attempted to convince me to let him stay, but Someone was already jumping off of the bed.

Maybe I should let him stay, but talking wasn't what I needed right now. "I just need some time to think," I whispered as I looked down to the floor. "Please go."   

There we have it, the introduction to my favourite character! While this is a shorter chapter compared to the others, we still got to meet Someone so it's worth it, right?
