Hey everyone, Jangmi here! I decided to make this little announcement here in place of Author-chan, since not everyone who reads this story follows her account or is in the community discord.

Author-chan is going to be taking a short hiatus, for she's in dire need of a break. Over this hiatus she will be revising a bit of the prequel 'A Rose Between Thorns' and fixing the errors and mistakes she's made in her writing. I'll be doing my best to write for this story to help her out, but her priority is improving the previous story for you all. 

With that said, she has left a little message for me to give you all!

"This is my time to get ahead, farther than I've been before while working on my writing skills as a whole. She needs to take some time for herself, and enjoy her life a little. I love writing so much, it's quickly become my passion this past year. However, sometimes you need a break from your passions too.

I realized that I've always stayed holed up in my room so I can get these chapters done, that sometimes I'd turn down offers from friends to hang out. I'd be eating my dinner in my room away from my family, and have to cancel dates so I can meet my weekly deadline. 

This isn't me leaving at all. I will continue writing this series until I deem that Taylor's story has finally come to an end. I will NEVER suddenly end a story and not continue it, because I'm a completionist and a perfectionist at heart.

This is simply a small break so I can relax and unwind a little without the pressure of meeting a deadline. Still, I hope you all will continue to support me and will welcome me back when I return."

Anyways, Author-chan also asked me to tell you that once she returns, we'll be having a new competition to celebrate! This contest is directed to both artists and non artists alike, for it's a chance to show off your skills in the form of... drumroll please

Fanart!

The top submissions will be selected by Author-chan and Editor-chan. However, the winner will be determined by you all! Author-chan will set up a poll for the final contestants, where you all will get a chance to vote for your favorite fanart.

The rules are simple. Create a drawing/image of your favorite scene/character/chapter in 'A Rose Between Thorns', 'Winter Blossom', or 'Concerto of the Sun'! Or if you so choose, make a drawing based off of our lovely staff! These images can be made with photoshop or handmade, but they must be YOURS.

The initial drawings won't be judged on skill, but simply by preference of Author-chan and Editor-chan. So don't worry if you aren't the best artist, because it won't have any effect on your score ^w^. Don't forget to sign your art!

All of the contestants will get a special chapter in Winter Blossom dedicated to their art, but the winner of this competition will get to appear as a special guest in this story. The winner will be announced on Author-chan's page and in the discord if they're in it. 

In order to enter, DM the author here on wattpad! She'll give you a special email to send your submission through, just make sure you include your username in the subject line along with the hashtag #WinterRoseConcert !

"Tajang, what are you doing over there? We've got to get back to practice!" Hobi says, crossing his arms and causing me to jump in surprise.

"I'm just telling the fans about the competition!" I reply, pouting as there is now a random pen mark across the bottom of the page.

"Well hurry your cute little butt up so we can get this done, we don't have all day!"

"I heard fans? Hello, world-wide handsome here-" Jin starts as he makes his way over, but Hoseok grabs him before he can get more than a few feet closer.

"Jin, we don't have time for this!"

"But Hobi, if they're fans I HAVE to give them a flying kiss!"

"No you don't, it's a damn sheet of paper!" Hobi argues, bumping into Yoongi as he backed up. I could see the sunshine shudder in horror as the older male gave both of them a death stare,  grabbing them by the ear and dragging them out of the room.

"You all need to shut the fuck up and let me sleep."
