"Aria, wake up. Aria!!"

"I can't believe I'm doing this."
Someone whispered followed by a slight giggle.

"BANG! BANG!"

Oh those two words trigger me to spring up

and say "NOEYE BULLET BULLET BULLET."

*It's like, "Fghting!" works just fine to wake Hoshi up.

"Wait, what is going on??"

Everyone laughed, looking down at me. We're still on the plane but it wasn't moving. We had landed.

"Told ya she's gonna wake up to that. Give me a fiver* bro!" Said Aaron slapping Aiden,

"I don't have any dollars on me, dude! Remember?? We're in Korea." Aiden responded in a 'duh tone'."

"Stop being an ankle biter, both of you." Mum scolded.

I groaned at their silly method to wake me up and slapped Aaron's arm.

"Works every time!"Aaron winked at me.

Bring your ear closer, I'll let you in a little secret; both of my brothers like to listen to K-pop sometimes but they don't admit. Sometimes, we even listen to some of the new released MVs together and that's how Aaron knew about that part from Day6 MV, "Shoot me."

And yes, I was obsessed with that song for quite some time cause who wouldn't be?

As we checked out the airport, a car was already waiting for us. We hopped in and sped off.

After half an hour, we stopped in front of a beautiful house. The design was quite modern and it had wooden doors. It was a double storey too. The twins rushed inside to get separate rooms. The room I got had plain white walls with a bed in the middle. There were two side tables on each side. It looked neat and boring because everything was so simple but I was going to change that.

Mum called us downstairs to inform us that our aunt had invited us for dinner. It was two in the afternoon so I decided to take a little nap and locked my door so my idiot brothers wouldn't disturb me again.

I looked in my bags to find something decent and settled on black leggings and a denim jacket with a turtleneck underneath. I finished it off with my checkered vans.

When I got downstairs, the twins were both dressed. I asked my brothers about my look but Alas! My brothers were far from observant and just shrugged. I just sighed and turned to mum.

Mum approved our looks and we got into the car.

We knocked at the door and mum was enthusiastic. Our aunt opened and gave us all hugs.

"Come in", she said in Korean but that was my golden moment. My talent display opportunity, my Aria's got talent time, my serendipity.

*You get my point.*

I turned to my family with a huge grin plastered on my face and translated it for them.

"We know what it means, you multifandom stan!" Aiden said.

"Aiden, don't be mean to your sister!!" Dad warned Aiden and he just went inside.

*I'm sure I heard him mumble something under his breath but I couldn't quite pick it.

We went in to see a neatly decorated interior. It was our first time meeting mum's side of the family. All three of us introduced ourselves.. She looked at Aaron and Aiden and smiled. Not like an 'evil smile', more like a 'motherly smile'. Both of them don't look like me at all. (Maybe) They're both 6'1 while I'm a solid 5'3.

^They look like the typical Australian born and bred lads with broad shoulders and a strong jawline.^

My aunt had two adorable kids. Not that I was expecting to make friends this quick. Okay, maybe 'a little'...

The dinner was good and we all enjoyed it. We knew basic Korean thanks to mum (and kdramas)

Eemo (aunt) made ginseng chicken soup, kalguksu, dumplings and after dinner we had daifuku which is a Japanese sweet.

I secretly took some photos on my phone because ONE, the food looked really aesthetic. TWO, I needed insta worthy photos and THIRD, Aspen told me to keep her updated on EVERYTHING.

We said our goodbyes and came back pretty late.

"Come have breakfast Aria!" I heard mum calling from the kitchen. I went downstairs and everyone was already seated.

Did I mention that this house had everything so we didn't have to buy furniture??

Dad was telling us about the school we'll be joining when we were startled by the doorbell. Mum and dad were curious at who that might be. "I'll get it," Aaron said.

He came back and announced that we have been invited to lunch by the neighbours next door. We all were pretty tired from yesterday but mum said we 'all' had to go.

"I don't wanna go. I'll stay and watch this drama.." I protested.

"Aria honey, I know you don't like talking to new people but you need to socialise." Mum replied.

"What do u mean by 'socialise'? I talk to you all and Aspen." I said.

"But honey we moved. Aspen's not here and you can't be holed up in your room."

"I'm happy holed up in my room." I said.

"No, no. You can't be happy being alone and watching dramas, listening to those stupid songs all the time."

"I like doing all that, it makes me happy and besides, they're not 'stupid songs' mum." I huffed.

Mum grappled at both of my shoulders hard. "I want you to get out of your little bubble and discover the world Aria. Make some friends. 'TALK'. She put emphasis on that word.

"We can help her in that." Both of my brothers peeked inside my room.

"You both were eavesdropping!!" It came out more like a question rather than a statement.

"See honey! They want you to socialise too." Mum said in her ever-so-loving tone.

"But mum-"

"No buts! Aria! Go put on something cute and we're all going." Mum said. I couldn't argue more since the volcano of mum's anger could blow up anytime.

*I'm sure you all know how asain parents are*

"Ohh!! This is going to be exciting." Both of them teased.

I sent a deathly glare at them like a lion to it's prey. They scurried to their rooms.

This is so not how I was planning. Meh.
