Mihir's POV
The weekend at the farmhouse was a much-needed break from our busy lives. It allowed us to reconnect, not just as a couple, but as a family. We laughed, we played, and we made new memories that would last a lifetime.
The weekend was filled with more than just fun and games. Each morning, we woke up to the laughter of the children and the aroma of freshly cooked breakfast, courtesy of Tami and the other women, who seemed to have an endless supply of energy and love for feeding everyone.
One evening, as the sun set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, Tami and I took a quiet walk by the lake near the farmhouse. The gentle breeze ruffled her hair, and I couldn't resist tucking a stray lock behind her ear.
"I've missed this," she said softly, leaning into me. "Just us, alone."
"I know," I replied, wrapping an arm around her shoulders. "But I wouldn't trade our chaotic, beautiful family for anything."
She smiled, looking up at me with those eyes that still made my heart skip a beat. "Neither would I."
We paused by the water's edge, the peaceful silence enveloping us. "Remember when we first got back together?" Tami asked, her voice filled with nostalgia. "I was so scared, so unsure of how things would turn out."
I nodded, squeezing her shoulder. "And look at us now. Happier than ever."
She turned to face me, her expression serious. "Promise me we'll always make time for moments like this, Mihir. No matter how busy life gets."
"I promise," I said, pulling her into a kiss, sealing our vow with the touch of our lips.

The next morning, we woke to the sound of birds chirping and the smell of fresh coffee. Tami was already up, preparing breakfast with Mom, Aunty, and Roshni. I watched her from the doorway, marveling at her beauty and grace. She caught my eye and smiled, a silent promise of many more happy moments to come.
After breakfast, we all decided to go for a hike in the nearby woods. The kids ran ahead, their excitement infectious. We followed at a leisurely pace, enjoying the natural beauty around us.
As we walked, we reminisced about our childhood adventures in these woods. Dad and Uncle Gauram shared stories of their mischief, much to the delight of the kids.
When we reached a clearing, we set up a picnic and spent the afternoon playing games and relaxing. The kids splashed in a small stream, their laughter echoing through the trees.
Later, as we made our way back to the farmhouse, Tami and I lagged, enjoying the peacefulness of the moment. "This has been the perfect weekend," she said, squeezing my hand.
"It really has," I agreed. "I love seeing our family so happy and together."
As the sun began to set on our final day at the farmhouse, we gathered around a bonfire once more. The kids were roasting marshmallows, their faces lit up with joy.
As we sat there, surrounded by the warmth of the fire and the love of our family, I realized how truly blessed we were. Life wasn't always perfect, but moments like these made all the struggles worth it.
Later that night, after the kids were tucked into bed and the house was quiet, Tami and I found ourselves alone in the living room. She nestled into my arms, and we talked about the future, our dreams, and our hopes.
"Mihir, do you ever think about what lies ahead for us?" Tami asked softly, her eyes searching for mine.
"All the time," I replied, kissing her forehead. "And I know that whatever comes our way, we'll face it together."
She smiled, her eyes shining with love. "I wouldn't have it any other way."
As we drifted off to sleep that night, wrapped in each other's arms, I felt a profound sense of peace. Our journey hadn't been easy, but it had led us to this moment – a moment of pure, unadulterated happiness.

The next morning, it was time to pack up and head back home. There were hugs and promises of more get-togethers, and as we loaded the cars, I couldn't help but feel a little sad that the weekend was coming to an end.
But as we drove away from the farmhouse, Tami's hand in mine, I knew that the memories we had made would stay with us forever. And I knew that no matter where life took us, we would always have each other.
"Hey," Tami said, breaking me out of my thoughts. "Thank you for always being my rock, Mihir."
I looked at her, my heart swelling with love. "And thank you for being my everything, Tami. I love you more than words can say."
She smiled, a tear slipping down her cheek. "I love you too."
As we drove down the winding road, leaving the farmhouse behind, I knew that our future was bright. With Tami by my side, there was nothing we couldn't overcome. And with our family around us, we would always have a reason to smile.
The weekend at the farmhouse had been a reminder of what truly mattered – love, family, and the simple joys of life. And as we headed back to the hustle and bustle of our daily lives, I carried those memories with me, knowing that they would always be a source of strength and happiness.
In the end, it wasn't the grand gestures or the big moments that defined our love. It was the small, everyday moments – the shared laughter, the stolen kisses, and the unwavering support – that made our love story truly special.
As I looked over at Tami, her head resting on the window, a content smile on her face, I knew that our love would only continue to grow, filling our lives with endless moments of joy and happiness.
Back home, the routine of daily life resumed, but the warmth of the weekend lingered. Now and then, Tami and I would catch each other's eye and share a secret smile, a silent acknowledgment of the love that bound us together.
One evening, as we were getting ready for bed, Tami turned to me with a mischievous grin. "You know, Mihir, you never did tell me what you were shouting about that morning."
I laughed, pulling her close. "I was just looking for you. I can't stand being away from you for even a moment."
She giggled, swatting my arm playfully. "You're hopeless."
"Hopelessly in love with you," I corrected, leaning in for a kiss.
As our lips met, I knew that no matter where life took us, we would always find our way back to each other. Because at the end of the day, it was our love that made everything worthwhile.
And with that thought, we drifted off to sleep, ready to face whatever the future held – together.
While Tami was sleeping happily in his arms Mihir was thanking his God that he helped him in winning her back...
The end.
