Mihir's POV

" There is nothing wrong with the list..." She said shaking her head, with a broad smile.

Why the hell was she smiling?

" But ma'am, I can't fail my exams. " She said and tears started flowing.

Oh, God!

Sagarika rushed to hug her and her ma'am looked shocked.

" Why are you crying, Gautami? Who said that you failed? You have topped in the university. That's why your name is not there in that list, your name is mentioned separately on the board as you got rank 1 in the university. "  Her teacher said. Tami heard it and I saw almost ten different expressions on Tami's face in a few seconds. Finally, Dropping on her knees, she burst into tears out of relief.

Shall I help her?? No, I think, I should not she will get the wrong idea.

" Tami, get up!! Mihir Bhai, please see to her. " Sagrika said and I had to pull her up to her feet.

" Tami, get up! " I said. She was smiling and crying at the same time.

What a girl!!! Too emotional.

" Gautami, are you alright? Please get some water for your sister." The teacher said looking at me.

" My sister? " I was shocked hearing that.

" You are not her brother? "  Ma'am said

" No, I am not. " I said and Shlok placed his hand on his mouth trying not to smile. I glared at him and he turned his back towards me.

" He is my husband, ma'am. " Tami said getting embarrassed and shy.

" What? I am sorry. When did you get married? " She said looking very embarrassed.

" Recently. " Tami replied and the teacher went off.

" You idiot, I was trying to tell you that your name is on another notice. But you asked the teacher and started crying " Sagrika said.

" My name is there? " She asked with tears in her eyes and mouth wide open. Tami rushed to the notice board again, holding her hand and I went after her as the girls were still standing there and moreover, I didn't want to be alone with Shlok.

Sagarika pointed towards the notice where the college congratulated her on getting first rank in the university. She looked at it and finally, she smiled.

The very next moment, that crazy girl started jumping with joy. She turned and hugged me all of a sudden.

" Mihir, see, I told you, that I can't fail. "  She said with her face placed against my chest. Shlok was smiling. I pushed on her shoulders a bit to get her away from me. She realized that and moved back immediately looking embarrassed.

" Congratulations, Tami. " Shlok said.

" Thanks, Jiju. " She said.

" Hey, I am Shaurya. Your Jiju and Di left for their honeymoon trip to Switzerland.  He said.

" Oh, sorry. " She said, just then her phone buzzed. Her parents were asking about her results. She told them and just then my phone also buzzed, my mom was asking for her result, and when I told her about it, she was very happy to hear it. Tami had already finished her call so I gave my phone to her. Mom congratulated her and she asked Mom if she could go to meet her family.

Obviously, she must have told her to go there.

" Let's go! " I said.

" Mihir, I am going to meet my parents, you can go to the office, I will go to home or hospital. " She said.

" I was about to go when I heard Shaurya say, "  I will drop you wherever you want. " And I stopped immediately and turned to look at him. He was flashing his smile at her.

What the hell!!

Under no condition was I going to let that Casanova be anywhere near her.

She nodded and was about to thank him but I said, " No, I am going to drop you there. " I glared at Shaurya, he shrugged.

" Hey, Tami, you need to give me a treat. " Sagrika said.

" Sure, will do it. " Tami nodded with a smile.

" Why don't I give a treat to both of you right away? " Shaurya asked raising an eyebrow.

" No, thanks. We need to go, our parents are waiting, " I said glaring at him. And he nodded with a smile.
