Tami's POV.

My dad called up about half an hour ago and told Mihir's dad that Gaurvi and Shlok ji were getting married after five days.

I was happy to hear that everything was sorted out for them. Finally, they were getting married. But I felt bad for Mihir as he became upset after hearing that and went to our room excusing himself.

Everyone knew that he was upset and they tried to give me an explanation from his side as if I didn't know why he left.

" It's okay, I know he went away as he got upset hearing the news. He loved her, it will take time for him to come back to normal. " I said with a calm smile.

" Thanks for being so understanding, Tami. " Mahi said and hugged me.

After Mahi and Ron Jiju went home, we all retired to our rooms. I saw that he was already sleeping. I tiptoed to the washroom making minimum noise in getting ready to sleep.

After changing my dress, I went to the couch to sleep.

It was morning and when I awoke, I saw that Mihir was not in the room. I thought he must be in the washroom but he was not there as well. I went in and realized that he had already taken a bath as his night suit was in the laundry basket.

Where could he have gone so early in the morning?

I got ready and went downstairs to look for him and found Mom, Manik bhai and Dad having morning tea and reading newspapers. I greeted them and they both smiled.

" Good morning, Beta. Come join us for the tea. Is Mihir sleeping till now? " Mom asked.

"  No, Mom. He is not in the room, in fact, his phone and laptop bag are also not there. He was not there when I got up. " I said.

" What?? " Dad asked and tried calling his number.

Mihir's POV
Last night.

As soon as Dad shared the news of Gaurvi and Shlok's upcoming wedding in 5 days, I excused myself and came to my room.

So they were getting married... I was upset beyond my limit.  How could everyone forget and forgive them so easily?? They might forget everything as their decision didn't change anything for them while it changed everything for me.

No, I am not going to attend it, but my parents would compel me to attend the wedding as she was now my wife's sister. And after my wedding, it was the first wedding in their family and everyone would expect me to be there.

I thought for a few minutes and then packed a bag for myself with 5 sets of clothes and everything else that I needed, took a bath, and went to sleep.

It was early morning when I got ready, called Bhai's pilot, and asked him to be ready for a flight back to Surat.

We were about to land when I got a call from my dad and I received it.

" Yes, Dad? "

" Where are you, Mihir?"

" Dad, I am about to land at our haveli in Surat. "

" Surat?? What are you doing there? Why did you go there without telling anyone? "

" Dad, since bhai was not here and he was planning to stay for... his friend's wedding,  So I thought that I should come here. As it is I want to learn everything about the business now. I have decided to join the business so I must know everything that is to be learned. "

" But how can you go there without talking to anyone at home, not even your wife? Yes, Manik would stay here till Shlok's wedding but it was important for you to attend the wedding as well as it is a family wedding. Come back right away. " Dad said.

" Sorry Dad, I will not give any excuses for this as you very well know that I can't go to that wedding. You all please enjoy the wedding in the family. I will come after that drama is over. Bye, Dad. "  I said and disconnected the call.

We landed on the helipad and I went into the mansion.
