Shahs' mansion...
Third person's POV
Next morning.

As the first rays of sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow into the room, Tami stirred from her sleep. Blinking away the remnants of dreams, she realized with a jolt that today marked the beginning of her new life as a wife, albeit under unexpected circumstances.

Slowly, she turned her head to glance at the couch, where her newly wedded husband lay. He appeared still lost in slumber, his features softened by the morning light. Tami couldn't help but admire the way the sunlight played across his face, casting gentle shadows and highlighting his chiseled jawline.

Trying to suppress the butterflies fluttering in her stomach, Tami quietly slid out of bed, mindful not to disturb him. She tiptoed towards the bathroom, her heart pounding with a mix of nervousness and anticipation for the day ahead.

Meanwhile, As the morning light filtered through the curtains, casting a soft glow into the room, Mihir reluctantly stirred from his sleep. His mind slowly registered the reality of the situation, the events of the previous night weighed heavily on his mind, his heart still raw from being abandoned at the altar by the woman he loved. Despite his resolve to maintain distance from his bride, he couldn't ignore the fact that he was now married to Tami, the younger sister of the woman he once loved.

With a heavy sigh, he glanced towards the bed where Tami, his unexpected and replaced bride, slept peacefully last night. But she was not there at the moment.

Was it a dream?? Or his wishful thinking??

Whatever it was, he was happy that he didn't have to start his day looking at her.

As he reluctantly rose from the couch, his eyes fell upon the scattered remnants of his anger from the previous night. Guilt gnawed at him, knowing that his outburst had only added to the tension between them. Some voice in his mind said that it was not her fault that Gaurvi fell in love with Shlok and got pregnant with his child.

But anger simmered beneath the surface as he recalled how Tami had seemingly replaced her elder sister without a second thought, further complicating his already shattered heart.

Resentment burned within him as he reluctantly rose from the couch where he had spent the night, unable to bring himself to share the same bed as Tami. The thought of her sleeping soundly while he tossed and turned with the turmoil of his emotions only fueled his bitterness.

He couldn't bear the thought of being in such proximity to Tami, forced to confront the reality of their unwanted union.

With a heavy sigh, he made his way to the bathroom, bracing himself for the inevitable awkwardness of sharing the space with his new wife. Yet, as he entered, he was met with a surprising sight.

Tami stood by the sink, her back turned to him as she brushed her hair, her movements gentle and graceful. The soft morning light illuminated her form, casting a halo around her, and for a moment, he couldn't help but be captivated by her beauty but just then he recalled that she was not the woman he loved, but her younger sister.

Clearing his throat to announce his presence, he watched as she turned to face him, a blush tinting her cheeks as their eyes met in the mirror. He felt very conscious because she saw him ogling her. An awkward silence hung in the air, neither knowing quite what to say.

"  What are you doing here, in my bathroom dressed like this?? " He asked.

" Well, since I am supposed to share this room with you, I guess, I need to use it too, and you need to learn to share it with me, and about me being dressed like this,  that's what I have at the moment. Hopefully, Mom will send my stuff today.  "  She said looking hurt by the question he asked rudely.

"Ughh! Fine! I'll just use the one in the guest room..." he stammered, Her presence was a painful reminder of the circumstances that had led them to this point. Avoiding her gaze, he made a beeline for the door, desperate to escape the suffocating atmosphere of the bathroom.

Tami shook her head, "No, it's okay. We can... share. "

" I don't want to share anything with you. " He said.

" But there are guests in the guest rooms. " She reminded him.
