Third person's POV.
That day...

Mehul and Megha were planning to throw a big party as Mihir and Tami finally started their married life and with god's grace, they just got the news that Tami was pregnant. They went to meet her and though she asked about mihir a few times, she was happy about having a child.

Finally, they came back and were happy that both Tami and Mahi were going to have babies, and soon, they would have two grandchildren to play with.

Just then Mehul's phone started ringing.

"  It is Gautam, I am sure he has planned the party or a dinner and has called to invite us. " Mehul smiled and picked up the call.

"Hey, Gautam! " He replied.

"Mehul, I need to talk to you urgently. It's about Mihir and Tami."  he began, the tone of his voice was grave.

Mehul's mind raced with worry. "Gautam, what happened? Is Tami okay?"

Gautam took a deep breath, steadying himself, and explained everything.

Mehul was stunned into silence for a moment. He knew Mihir had been struggling with personal issues, but this was beyond anything he had imagined. "Gautam, I'm so sorry. I don't know what to say."

"Mehul, I gave my daughter's hand in marriage to your son as I care for you and I trusted him." Gautam continued urgently. " But I've decided to take Tami back home with us. We're going to proceed with the divorce." He said firmly.

Mehul's heart sank. He couldn't believe Mihir had acted so rashly. "Gautam, please, let me talk to Mihir. Maybe I can convince him to make things right."

Gautam hesitated for a moment, torn between his concern for Tami and his friendship with Mehul. "Mehul, I appreciate your concern for Mihir, but Tami's well-being is my priority now. We've already made our decision."

Mehul's voice hardened with determination. "Gautam, I understand. Please take care of Tami. I'll talk to Mihir and see what I can do." He said and Gautam ended the call.

" Tami signed the divorce papers, and Siddh filed for the divorce. " Mehul said with difficulty.

" But why?? " Megha asked.

" I don't know, but it must be something big or she would not have done it. She once promised me that she would not sign the papers till her self-respect was hurt. "

" But you know, Mihir is falling in love with her... Even you saw how he has been in the last month. " Megha argued.

" Let's go there, and get to know exactly what happened," Mehul said, and they were going to the Jindal family when Ron rushed in.

" Mom, Dad... Tami is... "

" We just got a call from Gautam. How did you get to know? Do you know what happened?  "

" We went to meet Tami, and Siddh was a bit rude and angry with us, and then he told us. Mahi and I asked Tami so many times, but she just kept crying. We even went to talk to Mihir, but even he is not saying anything. "

" What the hell is going on? " Mehul said.

" We are going to meet them, come with us. " Megha said to Ron. He nodded.

At Jindal Mansion

They all were present there looking upset and angry with Mihir.

" Everything was fine a few hours ago. Mihir said that they were going for dinner and would come back late. She was happy after we got to know about her pregnancy in the hospital room. What could have happened?" Megha asked.

" Yes, they looked happy; Mihir was very concerned, like a dotted husband, when Tami fainted. Anyone could see that he loved her. " Maurvi said.

" It doesn't matter... What matters is how dare he threaten my daughter when she was trying to save his father and the reputation of both our families. Before their wedding, I asked him many times if he would be able to take care of my daughter, and he had assured me that he would; how could he lie to me? Did he threaten my Tami? Tami? She is so sweet that she still married him just because she wanted to save Mehul, the relationship between our family, our reputation, and her stupid crush on him? I would have beaten him right there at the hospital if he was not your son."  Gautam said to Mehul, his eyes were red and he was shivering with rage.

" I can understand what you are saying, Gautam, but there must be some misunderstanding somewhere, as I know that they were looking happy. Mihir was taking good care of her now." Mehul pleaded.

" I am sorry to intervene, I don't know what happened, but Mihir is falling in love with her. I am very sure of it; ask Siddh, Vihan, or Sri... They also saw and felt that. Uncle, Tami is just like my sister Roohi to me, trust me; I just rushed to him to find out what happened between them; he was looking very hurt, and I could see the pain in his eyes. I have been through ups and downs in my love life, I am dead sure he loves her a lot. As much as I love Mahi. He is very possessive about her like every one of us is for our wife. Please give them a chance. I know Tami is hurt, but please try to see this from his point of view as well. At least we should hear his side of the story as well. You can ask Vihan, Mihir loves Tami." Ron argued.

" But he lied to us, kept us in the dark, and never gave her the love and respect she deserved, even said that she married him as he belonged to the Richest family in the country. " Gautam said.

" I am really sorry for everything he said or did, but Gautam, please give us some time to sort out things. "

" I appreciate the love and respect you gave to Tami, but she was married to Mihir, he should have... " Then he told everything that Mihir said and why Tami got hurt and signed the papers.

Everyone was shocked.
