Mihir's POV

Her face was flushed, and I could feel Tami’s breath against my neck. She shuddered as if my every touch was sending electric shocks through her. When the music stopped again, we folded the paper once more. The space was so small now that we had to stand with our feet together. I lifted Tami slightly off the ground, holding her close.

We continued to dance, our bodies pressed together. I could feel every beat of her heart, and my own heart was racing. I looked down at Tami, and for a moment, our eyes locked. There was something in her gaze that made me want her as if she were the air I needed to breathe.

The paper kept shrinking, and soon it was just the two of us and Gaurvi and Shlok. My competitive side kicked in. I could not let them win. Tami looked excited that we had reached this point. She was looking at me shyly and blushing like a new bride. I lifted Tami higher, determined to win.

I was shocked when she wrapped her legs around my waist, feeling a mix of shyness and excitement. It felt very intimate. I held her securely, very much aware of her, feeling her warmth against me.

Ron and Vihan whistled as she wrapped her legs around me, and even I couldn’t help smiling at the innocent, seductive position Tami had taken. She kept blushing, making me go insane.

Though her legs wrapped around my waist ignited a longing to take her to my room, I stayed determined to win this game for her. Every second felt precious, every touch a reminder of what we could be. I wanted to bury myself in her, drown in her fragrance and warmth.

When the final round came, we were almost on top of each other. I held her tightly, not caring about anything else. The music stopped, and we were declared the winners. The cheers and applause faded into the background as I looked into her eyes. At that moment, I knew I wanted to hold onto her forever, to make this work, no matter how difficult it might be.

Even when we stepped off the paper, I kept her close, not wanting to let go. Finally, I did when Ron started teasing us mercilessly. The night had given me hope, and I was determined to fight for us, to make her see that we could find happiness together.

After setting Tami down, I felt both disappointment and a sense of connection. Our victory in the dance brought us closer.

Everyone congratulated us, and though dinner was served, I was not interested in eating anything. Tami took charge, feeding me with her hand despite my resistance. Tears unexpectedly filled my eyes, and I felt a strange mix of guilt and gratitude for her.

Exhausted from her work, Tami looked sleepy. She suggested we go back to our room. I nodded, and we got up to leave, but Ron stopped us.

"Hey, you can't leave just now... The night is still young, and we are going to play some interesting games."

"No, Jiju, it has been a very long and tiring day. I might sleep on my feet," Tami said, but both Ron and Mahi persuaded us to stay as they challenged me, "Oh, c'mon Mihir, don't tell me you accepted defeat already. We are older than you and still not tired. You need to hit the gym, bro. Increase your stamina," Ron teased.

I sighed but couldn't help feeling a glint of interest in her eyes as well. Everyone gathered in the living room, excited about the upcoming games.

"Let's start with the classic ‘Truth or Dare,’" Ron announced.

Everyone agreed, and the games began with lighthearted dares and truths. Roohi sang a romantic song and revealed Vihan's habit of drawing circles, which made everyone laugh especially Gaurvi and me. Raj shared a romantic story about proposing to Myra again after their wedding, surprising everyone.

When it was Gaurvi's turn, she emotionally recounted how Shlok saved her life during a landslide, cementing her love for him. Even I was touched to hear that. I think they were made for each other or maybe God had planned to bring Tami and me together, that is why he made them meet there and made them fall in love with each other.

I was not in love with Gaurvi or was not even feeling jealous that she was with him, what irritated me was that they were so lost in PDA as if nothing happened.

Well, I was not jealous of him but was not comfortable seeing them romancing like that as I had been in love with her for more than 20 years. My emotions were in turmoil, especially with Gaurvi and Shlok present. But what truly unsettled me was when Parshav asked Tami to dance.

I could not control myself and tried to stop her but she got up to dance with him.

Unable to contain my jealousy, I watched them closely. When the song ended, I led Tami away, ignoring the group's protests. In our room, I confronted her about Parshav's flirting, my jealousy boiling over.

Tami defended herself, insisting it was harmless and that she had known Parshav for years. Our argument escalated as she accused me of still being fixated on Gaurvi. I angrily admitted my lingering feelings but also my growing frustration.

In a heated moment, I asked why she married me despite knowing my feelings for Gaurvi. Tami's response was equally emotional, accusing me of never giving her a chance. The tension between us was palpable, and I realized that despite everything, I didn't want to lose her.

All I could recall was that I could not control myself and kissed her, all I remember was that I was very tense, jealous, and insecure at the moment and wanted to stop her from leaving me. But when I started kissing her, I lost track of everything. I didn't recall anything after that about the night, maybe I slipped into slumber after drinking so much.

But when I got up she was not there in the room or the bathroom. I got out of bed, feeling the remnants of last night's frustration still simmering, and went looking for Tami.

I tried to call her but her phone was in the room itself, getting charged.

Where was she?? Was she angry with me, for how I brought her back to our room??

That could be possible as I literally pulled her here in front of everyone, especially her family and friends.
