Guys, please go and read Hired Fiance, as I feel that this book is very intense, romantic, twisted, dramatic, secretive, hot, and engaging. I have really pushed my limit in it. Yesterday, I wrote 6000 words for a love scene for the wedding night.  It took me 7 hours to make it romantic, emotional, sexy, and erotic yet not look vulgar.

I hope you will like it when you get there. All I know is that I am enjoying writing it. My hero here is naughty, sexy, sinfully handsome, someone with whom everyone can fall in love...

Mihir's POV

Back in the room, I handed her another towel to rub her hair dry, though I wanted to touch her silky hair "Thanks, you should dry your hair too, or you'll catch a cold," she said. I wanted her to dry my hair... But that would have to wait till I make it up to her by being a good man again whom she fell in love with.

There was a knock on the door, and I took the tray from the caretaker; he wanted to talk to her regarding breakfast, but I told him that she would call him later.

I poured a cup of tea for her, and taking a sandwich, I bit into it hungrily. "Eat slowly, or you'll choke," she said. Just then, I choked, and she rushed over to pat my bare back, her touch awkward but comforting.  She gave me water and stood there until I was okay.

"What is the hurry? Eat slowly," she said, the concern evident in her voice.

I told her that I was very hungry as I was awake until very late. She assumed that I was with Vihan and Roohi.

I could not tell her that I was with her.

"Time flies when you are with your favorite people," she added with a smile.

Right, I could not sleep for as long as I was with you, listening to your feelings for me.

"Hmm... Why did you go to the pond at night?" I asked, trying to understand her better.

"Er... everyone was busy with their friends or family, so I..." she trailed off, looking uncomfortable.

Oh!! 

"You could have joined us," I said.

"You were enjoying your evening with your best friends. I didn't want to intrude," she said.

I should have asked her to join us.

"It's not like that..." I started, but she interrupted.

"It's okay. I can spend time on my own, and I enjoy sitting at my parents' favorite place," she said. Her words made me feel a pang of guilt.

She asked about my preference for the breakfast menu. I suggested thepla as both Mahi and I liked it.

She nodded and decided the rest of the menu keeping everyone in mind, her efficiency impressing me.

She went to the bathroom to get ready, and I sat there, lost in thought. I felt a growing desire for her, especially after knowing how she truly felt about me. I wanted to take things slow and steady, as my psychiatrist suggested, but every moment with her made it harder.

After a while, we went down for breakfast. The teasing from Ron and Mahi made me feel embarrassed, but Tami's presence calmed me. Watching her interact with my family and handle everything so gracefully made me realize how lucky I was. I couldn't deny my growing feelings for her, and I was determined to make our marriage work.

The afternoon sun was warm as I watched the lively interactions around me. Laughter echoed, memories shared, but beneath the surface, a quiet ache settled within me. Seeing Tami, always kind and gentle, looking slightly lost among the chatter, tugged at my heart.

Mahi and Roohi talked about our childhood memories, and I saw her smiling throughout, but it never reached her eyes. I couldn’t help but feel a pang of guilt watching Tami retreat to her room. She looked so forlorn, and it hurt to know that my past still cast a shadow over her present. I tried to go and talk to her but she had locked the door, I didn't know what to do so I came back.

" What happened bhai? Why did she leave all of a sudden? Is she all right?" Mahi asked.

" I don't know... The door is locked. " I replied.

" Last night, she had left as she was feeling out of place since I was with Roohi and Vihan, while you were with Ron, she didn't want to disturb any of us. " I said further.

" Bhai, I think she might be missing her family or friends. "

" Hmm. I think I must invite Siddh and Sri. "

" Wonderful idea!! " Mahi said nodding cheerfully.

I dialed Siddh's number and invited him and Sri to come to our farmhouse for the day.

" Like right now?? But we are at the hospital. It is difficult to take a day off like this. " Siddh said.

" We are here, and she is missing her family as Mahi, Ron, and my friends are here. I am sure Gautam uncle... I mean Dad would not mind you coming here. "  I said.

" Yes, it's okay! I will go and inform him. We are coming. " Siddh replied.

" That will be great!! We are staying here till tomorrow morning. Will leave after breakfast, so get overnight bags. " I said and looked at Mahi. She hugged me and went back to Ron.

I joined my group back and told them that I invited Siddh and Sri.

" What?" They both said in unison but the expressions on their faces were like day and night. Opposite of each other.

Vihan looked thoroughly annoyed to hear that and he even glared at me. While Roohi was very excited as if I granted her a wish.

" Why did you have to call that Siddh?" Vihan said I knew he didn't like him much ever since Roohi started taking an interest in him.

" Tami is missing her family. " I told him.

" Wow! I love you, Mihir. You are my best friend. I have been thinking about him since Tami told me that he can cook. Tell me that you invited Parshav as well. " Roohi said with excitement.

" What!! No!! I will kill you if you already invited him as well. You know how flirt he is... " Vihan said clenching his fist.

" Do you think, I am mad that I would invite him? "  I shook my head immediately and replied.

" That you are... " He said.

" Sorry!! But we will handle Siddh. " I assured him.

After some time, I watched her rejoin us, her face composed but her eyes betraying a flicker of sadness. Mahi rushed to her and asked if she was fine, and just then we saw Siddh's car entering the farmhouse.

The car stopped, and I looked at Tami; she looked excited to see her brother's car. Sri and Siddh came out of the car, and Tami’s joy was palpable. Seeing her light up brought a smile to my face, but just then, another door opened, and  I  caught sight of Parshav coming out as well.

What the hell!! What was he doing here?? I didn't invite him.
