Tami's POV

Dad was discharged that day and Mihir took, him home. I had my duty hours left, So I came in the evening and when I reached my room, the guest room that I was using while Mom and Dad were not at home, to get fresh  I saw that it was locked.

When Mihir came upstairs I asked him why it was locked.

" Mom saw your stuff there, she sent it back to our room. " He replied, I nodded.

I went to his room and saw fresh flowers in various vases. What was going on?

Did Mom do that?

I turned all of a sudden and bumped into him." Oh, sorry... I was startled to see them. " I said.

" Beautiful... aren't they? " He said.

" Yes, Mom is such a die-hard romantic person. " I said shaking my head and went to freshen up. But I felt that there was something different about it too. I could not just find it out. I was very tired, so I wanted to lie down on the bed.

" Are you alright? " He asked.

" Yes, I am fine, just very tired. I completed most of the diet plans that I had to make so that I could take the leave for the picnic. " I told him.

" Do you want anything?? "

" Anything?? "

" Tea, coffee, or something like that? " He asked and I was shocked that he did.

" No, I am fine. "

" I have packed my bag for the picnic. " He said and I nodded.

But why was he telling me that??

I went downstairs to make Dad's special dinner, but Mom had already made dinner for him.

" Mom, you must have been tired, I was coming to make it. "

" No, beta, you have been working way too hard, at the hospital and home. We have so many domestic helpers, still, you have been doing it single-handedly. I am back now, we will share our responsibilities.  You just relax ".

" I can do that later on, you are back after so long. I want to spend some time with you. " I said and she hugged me with a smile and then she brought me out of the kitchen, holding my hand.

Once we were alone in the living area, she made me sit on a big couch and sat beside me.

" Tami, I am sorry for Mihir's impulsive action. I scolded him and even he is ashamed that he sent them. Please destroy them and try to forget and forgive him. "

" Ji! "

" I have talked to him, he wants to take another step towards you. Please forgive his foolishness and accept him once again. And thank you for not telling your parents about it till now. We would have felt very ashamed in front of them. " She said.

" Mom, please don't say that... I have already forgiven him. " I said as he was behaving in a much nicer way.

" You are the best daughter in the world. Now go and rest. "

" No, Mom, I rested for half an hour. I am fine... " I said and we spent some time together.

Later on, after having dinner, we all went back to our rooms. I went to the dressing room to take out my night suit but couldn't find any of them. In place of them, there was very naughty and sexy nightwear. Some of them were from the box Mohit uncle had sent and there were some new ones as well. My face became red looking at them.

Who could have kept them there??

Mom??

Who else??

I went out and saw Mihir watching TV.

" Er... Umm... By any chance you know where ... Let it be. " I shook my head and turned to go.

" What were you saying? " Mihir asked.

" It's ok... "  I shook my head.

" Tell me! " He insisted.

" I can't find my nightsuits in the wardrobe. Do you by any chance, where they could be? They are not in the guest room as well. " I said hesitantly thinking that he might snap at me for asking him that.

" Oh, I don't know... I saw Mom going out of our room with a bag. All of them are gone?? How can a mom do it? What would she do with your nightsuits? Let me see. "  He said and got up to go inside.

" NO!! "  I said immediately in a louder voice. I didn't want him to see my new nightwear.

" What happened?? I was just trying to find them. " He said.

" There is no need for that. I will manage. "  I said and rushed in.

But even after looking for 5 more minutes, I could not find anything suitable to wear. I had dropped the bag with new sets on the floor as I wanted to hide it before Mihir could see them and assume something wrong again. But to my dismay, it had escaped my mind to put it away first.

" Did you find any?? ' he said and opened the door to walk in. And he saw the bag and picked it up before I could reach them.

" What's in this bag?? " He said and opened it. His eyes became wide as soon as he saw that.

" I didn't get them, I swear, I found them here in place of my night suits. " I said but could not dare to look at him.

" Mom, is just too much. I will go and talk to her. " He said and I was surprised that he did not shout at me.

" No, let it be. I will wear some other loose cotton suits. " I said.

" You will not be comfortable in them. Wear something... out of it and get into the bed. "
