Arnav freezes and hides himself back under Panther's wings as his heart raced, why are they here! I thought we were safe! I thought no-dragon could find us! WHY ARE THEY HERE!!! 

He hears a loud THUD as the two dragons land on the sand, "Hello?" He heard a gentle voice call out. Panther suddenly shifted her scales back to her natural black and silver as she strode confidently over to the strangers. 

"Sorry about that, safety precautions." Her long elegant tail sweeps sand across Arnav's snout and he sneezes.

The Nightwings look at him their eyes wide, "Who is that? Is that the Wings of River? Why does he look so strange?" The other Nightwing said, curiosity flickering in his purple eyes. 

Panther sits and curls her tail around her legs as she says, "that's Arnav, he is our Riverwing. Arnav, this is Nightfall" She flicked her tail at the curious one, "and this is Starspeaker," she flicks her tail at the other one.

Nightfall nods and then looks down at the pouch wrapped around his neck, he gently lifts something out and Arnav leans closer to see what it is. He places it on the sand and it immediately lets out a loud, "ouch!" Arnav watches in curiosity as it stands up and shakes out its large black wings speckled with silver scales. 

"It's a Nightwing" Arnav says as he sits back down. 

"Not just any Nightwing! Me is gonna save the world!" The little dragon says proudly.

Just then Starspeaker reaches into her pouch and brings out a small colorful dragonet that wrapped itself around her talon.

The little Nightwing smiles at the Rainwing dragonet and says, "Kiwi!!"

Kiwi opens her eyes and looks around, spots the Nightwing dragonet and shouts, "Brightstar!" They hug and Arnav smiles, he wishes he had anyone that close to him.

Panther smiles down at the dragonets and starts talking to Nightfall and Starspeaker. Arnav walks over to Kiwi and Brightstar, "Wanna see something cool?" He asks in a whisper. They nod excitedly and follow him over to the pond.

"Whas so exciting bout that?" Kiwi asks him.

"Yeah is just water" Brightstar says while touching it with one claw. 

"It's not just  water!" He exclaims, "It's a refreshing, cold, beautiful place and it's fun to swim around in it!" Brightstar and Kiwi exchange glances and look back at Arnav.

"Is magic water?" Kiwi asks, confused.

Arnav looks down at the pond again, "uh sure, yeah it's magic." That wasn't a complete lie, was it? It's magic because it's so cold even though it's so hot and dry outside. 

Kiwi looks at Brightstar, excited now, "Les jump into da magic water! Maybe we can den be magic like Nightfall's mommy!"

Brightstar looks like she just saw a cuttlefish swallow a whole shark, "YEE!! We can be magics like Nightfall is mommy!!" She jumped into the pond and Kiwi jumped in right after her.
