" WHAT?!" Parrot screamed. " What is happening?" Tornado asked sounding hurt. " WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!" shrieked Rip-Current. " Hey, how does Shadnado sound." said Shadow dreamily. " HEY, NEWSFLASH! WE ARE ALL GONNA DIE!" Dusty yelled. " Why?!" Muck yelled. " It was Queen Hails idea." Rip-Current said, " She is delusional with fear." " Oh three moons." Parrot said pacing around the cage. " Shadow." Tornado squeaked nuzzling into Shadow's ruff. " Good evening dragonets." a cool drippy voice said, " I am Queen Hail. How dare you think you can waltz on in to my palace without some sort of punishment." " What do YOU want." Parrot hissed. " Well, your parents picked THORN so technically, I hate your guts." Queen Hail replied. " BUT WHY?!" Muck asked quizzically. " Well, I am not going to tell my evil plans to some dumb witted dragonets." Queen Hail snarled. " Okay lady, will you just say WHY you wanna kill us?" Muck said with sass dancing up his tone. " Well, not all 10 species like Thorn ruling, so I have found a few dragons, who feel the same way, I made a deal. They fight for me I fight for you." Queen Hail said, " Oops! I said the plan. Oh well, I guess I can kill you now. Awwww, but I wanted to have a ceremony and chop your necks off. But say cheese!" Then Queen hail had yellow and blue energy charging up in her throat. " DUCK!" yelled Parrot. " Where?" Shadow said dreamily, " I wanna eat it." All 6 dragonets smacked down to the ground. A big hole opened in the cage. " RUN!" yelled Parrot. Guards tried to jump in the way but Rip-Current ran ahead and smacked them with his tail. " GO!" Rip-Current yelled, guards closing around him. " NIT WITHOUT YOU!" Parrot yelled. She didn't fight it. She let baby pink shoot up through her scales and light green around her ruff. In BRIGHT pink, her scales spelled I ‍❤️‍‍ U. " AWWWWWWW!" Muck said. Dark green spread through her scales. All the Thunderwing guards stopped fighting and stared at Parrot's scales. Rip-Current saw the opportunity and thwacked the Thunderwing guards with his tail. The dragonets flew home and reunited with their family. " You really had me there." Rip-Current said. " What if that is what my scales wanted to say." Parrot said, with yet again dark green and pink creeping up her scales.
