-Hope's PoV- (Omg finally. XD)

I stood there awkwardly as everyone gawked at my wings. Even Angel and Tiger glanced at them, as if they still couldn't process the sight of me.

I felt my blood run cold as it reminded me of how the people in white coats loved to stare and poke at me. I quickly shook my thoughts away and resumed my stare at the legends.

I didn't really know if I even wanted to stay here. Nobody seemed to like me anyways. I could even tell that Angel and Tiger were cautious around me. I could barely understand why the absol would even want me to stay. My thoughts were broken when Verizion stepped forward.

~Tell me human. Where did you get those?~

I froze in silence. I'm pretty sure I was born with them, but I'm not really sure. My early years are pretty hazy.

~Speak human. Why do you have the wings of a pidgey?~ Cobalion ordered.

I gulped and perked my mouth before responding," I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure I was born with them"

Terrikon snorted,~Humans do not simply grow wings~

"But it's true!" I cried.

Cobalion glared at me and I folded my wings and hid behind Angel.

~I believe the human.~ Verizion stated.

Her brothers turned to her in surprise.

~But sister!-~ Terrikon yelped.

~She is allowed to stay in my share of the forest~ Verzion declared.

Cobalion stepped closer to Verizion,~ But why dear sister? Out of all of us, it should be you who should be against the human the most!~

Verzion bit her lip and sighed, ~ I ask you do not bring that up...~

~Then why?!~ Cobalion asked in protest.

~I take full responsibility and declare myself mentor of this human...no, hybrid and she will become a respected and welcomed citizen. Pokemon or human. Whether you allow her in your territories or not is up to you.~

~Are you crazy?!~ Cobalion said to his sister.

~I'll apply~

Both of the siblings looked at the brutish of them all.

~Thank you Terrikon~ Verizion said as she dipped her head in gratitude as she looked at the last of her brothers expectantly.

He looked at the pathetic being that is me and grunted.

~Fine. But on one condition. She has to win the trust of the citizens. We all know the majority of the Pokemon live in my sector~ Cobalion finally responded.

Angel goaded me out away from her and bowed to the legends, Tiger Bowing as well.

~Thank you so much. We are deeply in gratitude.~ Angel thanked.

Verizion began her way toward me and began to examine her new student.

~You better not make me regret my decision young one~ She then began her way out, just barely gesturing she wanted us to follow.
