Ring! Ring! Mia picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"MIA! GUESS WHAT! GUESS WHAT!" Grace yelled into the phone.

"Ow! What?" Mia asked.

"YOU'VE GO TO COME HERE!!" Grace seemed really excited.

"Okay I'm coming!"

Mia put down the phone and got on her scooter. She rode as fast as she could, eager to see what Grace needed. The wind blew in her ears. She loved hearing the wind whistling.  She loved to imagine she could fly.

She got off the scooter and rang on the doorbell. A head peeked out and grabbed her arm, yanking her in.

Grace explained how she found it. Every time she said it she emphasized it.

"Okay so this is a/an...."

"EGG!"

"An egg?! Why did you call me for an egg?" Mia asked.

"Come look at it." Grace finally stopped almost yelling everything.

"Woah......." Mia trailed off staring at the egg.

It was gold, amber, and brownish-red. It's like a MudWing egg! Mia thought.

"So you know that book series your reading?" Grace asked.

"Yeah.." Mia responded. She gasped. It cracked.

"It's hatching!!!!" Mia said shaking Grace very hard.

It took at least two minutes but soon a baby came out.

"Oh my....." Grace gasped

It was a dragon
