Chapter Three
Raindrop walked through the rainforest, the only thing making her stop being the Rainwing guards that were flying around while invisible. She was part Rainwing herself, the other half being a Skywing. So, it made her very nervous to see how many guards patrolled the area. I know this is supposed to make me feel safer, but this!?!? I feel like I'm about to have a panic attack!!!
She hurriedly walked through the village, accidentally counting all the guards along the way. The Rainwing-skywing was so focused on the guard that she didn't see Voidfire in front of her, until they crashed into each other, and both fell to the ground. "Oh Camel farts, sorry, sorry, sorry!", she said hurriedly, trying to help the other dragon up.
"It's fine it's fine. Besides, I needed to find you anyways."
"How come?"
"Queen Glory wants me to introduce you to someone."
Raindrop tilted her head. "Who's that?"
"Raindrop", Voidfire said, an uncontrollable grin on her face.
"Yes, but what's the dragons name?"
"Raindrop."
The hybrid frowned, scratched her head in a confused way. Suddenly, she burst out laughing. "Oh, there's a dragon who has the same name as me?", she asked.
Voidfire nodded. "Princess Raindrop, the daughter of Queen Glory and Deathbringer."
Her ears immediately stood up at the first word. "Wait... What? Queen Glory wants me to meet her daughter?" Suddenly, the the panic attack was coming back.
"Um... Are you okay?", she asked the fellow hybrid, as she seemed to quickly g from happy, to looking like she was about to pass out from breathing too quickly.
"Q-queen Glory wants me to m-meet her daughter?", she asked, stuttering.
"Um. Ya, she wanted you to meet before there were any problems with your names. With all of us being in the same general area, you two would be bound to meet each other eventually. So, Glory thought now would be a good time."
Raindrop sat down on the grass, scratching her head some more in deep thought.
"You don't have to freak out about it THAT much," Voidfire chuckled, patting Raindrop's shoulder. "I've heard that the queen's daughter is the type of dragon that doesn't care about being royalty. I'm sure it'll go fine."
"Um... Okay," she finally said. "So, uh, where is she right now?"
Voidfire tapped her chin and hummed. "Well, since she isn't with her mom, and I haven't seen her with her invisible Rainwing security, I'm gonna guess that she's either trying to hunt with a dozen Rainwings following her, or she's somewhere deep in the forest with her dad Deathbringer, training." She shivered. "I've heard that he's a real hard core assassin, so I bet Raindrops pretty good at fighting."
"Really?", Raindrop asked, intrigued. She wasn't the best at fighting, so to hear that a dragon with the same name was, gave her an idea. "Do you know how much fighting she knows?"
Voidfire shrugged. "She's been training for years, and I've heard that she's a fast learner, so she's probably just as good as Deathbringer. Why?"
The hybrid shivered and stood up, shaking out her wings. "I was thinking, maybe she could teach me a little bit of fighting. With all this ghosts and possessed statue stuff happening, I think a little knowledge on fighting would help."
Voidfire perked up. "Huh, that's actually a good idea. All right then, let's go!", she yelled excitedly, opening her wings and shooting into the air with a woosh.
"I didn't say we had to go right now!", Raindrop called quietly.
"To late!!!"
