Chapter 1

The rain was coming down hard, and Mystery couldn't help but feel a sense of gloom as she looked up at the large grey clouds looming above her.

The raindrops were hitting her scales like tiny stones, and she felt heavy and sluggish.

But then, she spotted a large tree that could act as a shield against the rain. She made her way over to it and squeezed herself between two big roots, stuffing the area with moss and other materials to make it more comfortable.

As she lay there, listening to the sound of the rain hitting the leaves above, she realized that she had just had the best sleep she could remember

. It was as if the rain had washed away all her worries and allowed her to fully relax for the first time in a long time. The sun began to peek through the clouds, and Mystery stretched out her limbs, feeling the warmth on her scales.

Her stomach rumbled, and she began to scan the trees around her for any signs of movement. Suddenly, she heard something - a faint sound of footsteps that seemed to be getting closer. She pressed her ear to the ground, listening intently, and then she heard it - "Pitter Patter Pitter Patter." It was the sound of scavengers, and Mystery gasped in shock. In all her years in the wilderness, she had never seen one before.
