hello! and welcome to 'wings of fire: the first arc plus you!'

i have a few things to say before we get into the story.

first of all, the reader will be completely gender neutral for this book so that everyone can read it. i want my books to be an inclusive space, and this book is no exception.

secondly, the reader's tribe has already been established, through a poll that i held on my message board. they are a night/ice, though it is not obvious that they're a hybrid, looking like just a very spiky nightwing. similar polls will be held to determine many things in this book, such as who to follow, what we do in certain situations, and more. i hope you all look forward to these polls, as they impact the story greatly.

thirdly, this book will switch povs often in order to keep the story as similar as possible to the original series. mostly it will be in the reader's pov, but it will also go into the dragonets' povs to make sure we don't lose any of the information in the books.

fourth, i will be updating this slowly, as i have a life outside of wattpad, and cannot keep up with things like this on a regular basis.

fifth, there's some abbreviations you need to know for this story. here they are:

y/n: your name
s/c: scale color
e/c: eye color
w/c: wings color
f/f: favorite food (that dragons would eat)

i think that's it, but i may update this list when i need/use new abbreviations.

and finally, i really hope you enjoy this new perspective on the wings of fire series. it is a passion project of mine that has been in the works for a while, and i really hope it is well received. and with that, let's get into the story.
