This takes place a bit before Darkstalker Legends, aka over 2000 some years in the past! Here's how the tribes were different back then!

Mudwings have just gotten their new queen, Queen Moorhen. Mudwings are still monogamous, and are deemed a very powerful tribe. They are currently regarded as the second strongest tribe, and Skywings are particularly afraid of Mudwings after the battle lead by General Gravel that lead to the hand over of the Diamond Spray Delta. They have a truce with the SkyWings, for now. Hybrids aren't usually accepted, while not killed they're discriminated upon and usually disowned by the tribe. They are totally fine with animus dragons until the death of prince Rowan. They are suspicious about NightWing powers, and back then their buildings were much more then mud made sleep houses. 

SeaWings are under the rule of Queen Delta, who is the mother of Albatross, Sapphire, and Lagoon. Seawings, like the NightWings are very good at building and have very impressive architectural skills. They are a very proud tribe much like the SkyWings, they love to share their art, writing and other skills via SeaWing villages on the beach just a bit beyond the MudWing and SkyWing territories. SeaWing hybrids aren't all that rare thanks to this, being the second most common hybrid type right after SandWings. As this is before the discovery of Prince Albatross's powers, their view on animus dragons is neutral much like the NightWings. 

SandWings are under the ruler Queen Scorpion, who's been ruling for ten years now. Historical SandWings behave much like modern day SkyWings under Queen Scarlet's rule. They love having battles gladiator styled, the biggest arena was called the Scorpion Den (it was later destroyed and its parts were used to make the modern day Scorpion Den) Queen Scorpion unlike to modern queen had a council. The royals back then were all snobby pain in the tails but defying the Queen means being thrown to fight for her entertainment. Anyone else who isn't royalty is in severe poverty. Half Sandwing hybrids are very common during this time as SandWings (outside the royal family at least) didn't have other tribes 'pure blood standards'. Queen Scorpion constantly has dragons looking for Sandwing animus dragons to bring to her since she's a greedy guts.

RainWings are under the new ruler Queen Anaconda with the recent murder of her mother. RainWings are certainly not the lazy useless dragons everyone will one day come to know them as, and are known currently as being very sneaky and shifty, they often leave their kingdom often as traders and have an advanced understanding of medical herbs. They were feared for their ability to turn invisible and shoot scale melting acid, when Princess Lagoon killed her mother Queen Delta and became queen the tribe started to close itself off hearing of the animus dragons, and after hearing about the NightWings they closed off entirely, remaining isolated for centuries. Before they were closed off hybrids were possible, but uncommon. After the seawings animus announcement they grew even rarer before becoming near impossible with the complete isolation. Animus dragons aren't trusted at all and they aren't allowed to enter the RainWing kingdom. 

SkyWings are under the rule of Queen Carmine, and unlike the modern day SkyWings are usually very friendly and peaceful. They are known to be very festive and talented in music and dancing. They however aren't pushovers and are still very proud, although their last battle lead by an impulsive soldier ended with a hasty peace treaty signing with the MudWings when they lost. They are rather spiritual shown by them practicing marriage and believing in reincarnation. They are highly against any dangerous dragons like animus dragons and firescales, and kill these dragons as soon as possible by throwing them off tall cliffs, however aren't totally against hybrid dragons.  After losing the battle with the MudWings they became far more diplomatic.

IceWings are under the rule of Queen Diamond, who's also the oldest queen in Pyrrhia during this timeframe. Modern IceWings and historic IceWings are near identical (they're afraid of change) with their rankings and ideals. They usually don't leave the Ice Kingdom since they see it as the perfect place, but accept diplomatic relationships as to benefit themselves with what other tribes have. They do value animus magic greatly, but find animus dragons from other tribes as repulsive due to their 'lack of discipline and control' and will without hesitation kill hybrids due to 'them being tainted blood scums'. Dragons like deathscales are usually kept alive, but are more so treated as tools rather then dragons, iceless dragons usually die from the cold, if not are outright abandoned for 'not being a proper IceWing'. 

NightWings are under the rule of Queen Vigilance, who is the second oldest queen in Pyrrhia in this timeframe. NightWings are incredibly advanced with their buildings and structures, unlike other tribes they have schools like human colleges, parks and plazas built. NightWings have their powers and said powers are dubbed as everyday normal things, and are very diplomatic. They are very neutral about animus magic, and are actually pretty accepting with hybrids.
