Quibli stared down at Kinkajou's broken body. Her small wings lay splayed out at her sides, covered in banages. Even in this state her scales still shifted constantly, but they seemed to be centered around a deep red that remined Quibli of blood

Rage consumed him when he thought of the nightwing that did this to her. She had been innocent- and yet he attacked her out of all of them. It still confused him why the huge Nightwing would go for the dragon that posed the least threat to him. Maybe he was bitter about his tribe uniting with the rainwings? That sounded like something a nightwing would do. Well, not counting Moon.

Mayfly walked into the hut, holding a pile of bandages in her talons. She limped carefuly over, and laid her talons on kinkajous wing. Quibli glanced at her. If he had to fight her, it would be easy to take out her frost covered leg first, rendering her immobile. Then he would... Quibli shook his head, trying to clear it. Typical Quibli, losing his focus on over analyzing when there was something that needed his thoughts far more than crazy situations that almost defiantly wouldn't happen.

"Any changes?" The Mudwing said, shaking water off her wings and head. It must be raining outside Qubli released with a jolt. And he hadn't even noticed. What if there had been a dragon waiting to attack when he had been distracted? panic griped him. I can't trust my own jugement. He had been so distracted lately. All he could think of was Kinkajou. Mayfly looked at him and nuged him with her wings. "She'll be fine" the brown dragon murrmered, but she didnt look convinced.

Quibli stared out the window at the falling rain, trying to hide tears. Stay strong, Kinkajou.

The rain offered no comfort.

I went for a sad theme with this one. Requests are closed, as I'm working on two other books, a original fanfic and a OC review book. I will hopefuly open up requests again once those two books get on their feet. Hope you enjoyed! First chapter written on my laptop.
