Cool. I don't think I've seen this before, and it's not really something I'd expect for a SandWing/SeaWing, so good job. I like this.

See what I said about hybrids being overused? Like, way overused? Like, 'I glanced over the comments and every oc seems to be a hybrid' overused.

Rank: pretty much an outcast and she likes it that way.

The outcast/outsider storyline is overused too. Eh.

Residence: she lives in the Seawing Kingdom with her mother

At least she lives in one of the kingdoms, and isn't a complete outsider.

She's small and has more of a Seawing look. Her base color is a sandy yellow while her underbelly is a sky blue. She has wings like that of a Seawing with the Seawing tail as well. She also has the illuminating lights of a Seawing going down her underbelly, neck, tail, and face. It's really hard to describe what the light battery is like but it's isn't very much like a normal Seawing. She wears a silver necklace with a coral colored starfish in the middle and she never takes it off. She also his light blue eyes.

Awesome! Very descriptive. The sandy blue and yellow kinda clash, though. I'd reverse the colors, because I think sandy yellow is lighter than sky blue, and the lighter color should go on the bottom. But oh well, she's cool.

Vortex is sweet and very adventurous. She loves play fighting and is very very very hyper when it comes to being around friends. Though when around dragons she doesn't know, or doesn't have a close connection with, she just tries not to get noticed and doesn't like speaking to them. She definitely thinks before acting, well most of the time, and she enjoys a good adventure. Her whole goal in life is to make people happy and gets really sad whenever she can't make one of her close friends happy, though she never gives up on trying to cheer them up. She jumpy but loves making others laugh with her horrible jokes. She's fun loving but is personally terrified of other dragons.

Wow, I like this! She seems like a pretty light-hearted dragon. It's odd that this personality isn't more popular. Reminds me a lot of Kinkajou, which I like. She has flaws, too. The "terrified of other dragons" doesn't really make sense, because she seems quite extroverted, but otherwise this is good.

Her mother is a light blue Seawing that worries to much named Tide and her father is a go with the flow sandy colored sandwing named Fury.

"Fury" doesn't sound right with a very calm dragon, but oh well. I have an OC named Tide :3

She also has an aunt who doesn't particularly like Vortex. Her aunt is named Current and is a light seaform green color with darker wing membranes.
She has no sibling or mate.

Pretty sure Current is a canon name but I might be wrong.

Vortex grew up just outside the deep sea palace in a small cave that was set aside for her and her mother. Queen Coral didn't like that Vortex had been born a halfbreed and wanted them to stay away from the other dragonets. She didn't mind being away from the dragonets, Because she didn't think she really needed friends. After a year she finally befriended a nice dragonets named Trout, who was slightly fat due to the fact his favorite thing was food. Three years past and finally Jade Mountain academy opened and she applied, and soon went to the school with her best friend. There she befriended two more dragonets, a Skywing named Ruby (there cane be multiple dragons with the same name) and a Sandwing named Scorch. They always went exploring, getting in trouble half the time, but didnt care. Though soon, Vortex's aunt forbid her from returning, saying she had done wrong in leaving. Vortex was saddened by this but her friends were there for her. She then went to live with her father in the Scorpion den.

I actually quite like this. Like I said, the outcast thing is really overused (I thank Riptide for that) but otherwise this is cool. It's more.. chill? No crazy death and destruction, but still enough plot to make a story out of. Nice.

Overall

I'd give her 6/10 too. Hybrids are getting kind of annoying, same with the outcast storyline, but otherwise she's alright. The personality and looks could use a bit of work. Overall, she's also pretty "meh."
