Fair enough. I wouldn't want to be queen, either, if Glory was the queen. Because first of all, Glory is an epic queen, and second of all, ew u have to kill her

I love Glory

Dreamchaser is a dark purple dragon with a dark-almost black- underbelly scales that reach from her chin to the back of her tail. Her wings are a pitch black with silver scales of all sizes littering the underneath of her wing. Her spikes that reach from the top of her head to her tail tip are a dark grey, with white tips, and her horns are pure white, along with her talons. Her eyes are a beautiful bright violet, and she has a bright silver scale behind her eyes.  Her tongue is a very dark grey-but not quite black. She wears a small silver-chained necklace with an odd-looking gem on it. The gem is attached by a metal-net invading, but the gem itself is a longish, purple gem with a point at the end and within the gem, purples of different shades swirl around in it, and no-one but Dreamchaser knows why.(I'll get back to that later)

Wow I love that. Very descriptive! She's beautiful. She looks like a normal NightWing, but at the same time she seems very unique from her tribe.

Ehh. The "dragonets of destiny as my parents" storyline is really overused, and if done incorrectly it's quite bad. But, I do love Glory and Deathbringer >.<

Backstory: When Dreamchaser was an egg, her mother abandoned her to the rainwings, who took in her egg and kept her with the rest of them, but kept her outside of the actual area where the eggs are kept in case anything possibly happened. Eventually, she hatched on a night of three full moons. Eventually, Queen Glory noticed something.... off... about the new, young Nightwing, and took her in as her own daughter with Deathbringer. As Dreamchaser got older, they noticed her talking about things that happen, just before they actually do. And she can't seem to get enough sleep at night, and she keeps complaining about the rain wings being too loud, when they're all asleep. "(Cont.)
And during all this, Death ringer is scrambling to find out what it means, and why all of this is happening while Glory is trying to help him in any way she can. Eventually, they notice yet again, something is off with her, and eventually, after reading a few possible scrolls, Deathbringer comes to the conclusion that Dreamchaser has mind-reading, and the sight of the future. But he can't seem to place the other, until Dreamchaser makes a beautiful gem come from nowhere in front of him, and they came to a quick conclusion that she was animus as well. They used the gem she created to store her animus powers so then she doesn't lose her mind as other animus dragons have done. Now, all she has to do, is gently touch the gem, and her animus powers work. They try to keep all her powers a secret, and it works, until she goes to Jade Mountain. Things all go down hill from there as another telepathic and prophetic dragon learns of her powers, and the whole academy learns of her powers, with the dragon manipulating the others that she's evil and wants to manipulate everyone. Dreamchaser eventually flees the academy, and goes into hiding. After several months of not seeing her, she soon returns to the nightwing and rainwing kingdom, and now resides there.

I have come to the conclusion that animus dragons are overused. Her animus powers don't really effect her backstory that much, do they? It was mostly about her mind reading.

She reminds me a lot of Moonwatcher. I like this backstory, but it's not very original. What happens after she returns to the Rainforest? You didn't really include much about that.

Also, when does this occur? Because Glory is still queen, so it can't be that long in the future. I'm just curious where this all fits in with the canon timeframe. Do the other Jade Mountain dragonets still go there (Moon, Winter, etc) or have they graduated? I'm not taking points off fore this, I'm just curious.

Personality: Dreamchaser is quick witted and smart. But she's got quite the short temper and it can blow if you push her too much. Other wise, she's generally calm and collected, and can be quite playful and joking if she's in a good mood. She can be strategic and is mindful of opponents if she's fighting.

Hmm. I'd add a few more flaws, because short-tempered is really the only one here. Her personality isn't bad, but it isn't very original.

Overall
I'd give her a 6/10. She's alright, her appearance is great, keep that. But the animus powers and mind reading are a bit much. I'd say, scrap the animus stuff, if it doesn't affect the story too much. Her personality could use a bit of work, as well as her backstory.
