I get that two dragons can have the same name and that he was named after a prince, but still... I find naming an OC after an original character a bit lazy? Maybe his name should be a different version of the word arctic.. like, Subarctic? That would be more original.

Okay. I know a lot of people don't like OCs that go to JMA, but I think they're alright, if you come up with an original plot.

Apprentices: Arctic has scales white as untouched snow,and grey eyes. His horns and extra spikes are the same as his eyes but are more lighter. He has a few more spikes then the averages Icewing,and his wings are a bit smaller. His wings are a dark blue,and he has three dark blue diamonds on his snout(one on the top middle of his snout so if he looks at the ground you see it. One right under his right nostril,and one right under his left nostril.)

The black diamonds are cool. I've seen them on a few SandWing OCs, but never an IceWing. Otherwise, his appearance is pretty typical, but not bad. I like the detail on his spikes, and overall this is pretty good!

Personality: Arctic is more of a follower then a leader,however he will not do something if he think it's the wrong thing(Killing,Stealing,etc,etc). He is very kind to his friends,but is a bit of a daydreamer and has a hard time contracting. Overall,he's kind,but a bit of a air-head.

I like this personality! He has good and bad traits that go well together, which is good. It's also not an overused personality. Most people wouldn't describe their OC as an air head, so I like that.

Family: Penguin(Father) Polarbear(Mother) Iceberg,Polar(Brothers) Blizzard(Sister) (Yes I know overused name I just couldn't think of any)

Alright! Some good names. And IceWing names are a pain to come up with lol

Backstory: When he hatched,his parents thought he would do great things because 1,His eldest brother Iceberg was in the 2end Circle,his other brother Polar and sister Blizzard was in the third. And 2,his parents thought the diamond scales on his snout were a good luck sign(this is why they named him Arctic). However,their hopes fell when Arctic got stuck in the seventh circle. His parents not wanting him the ruin the family name(their family had a reaputaion as always being in the fifth circle or up) they sent him to Jade Mountain. There he was part of the Sapphire Winglet(a Winglet I created)(The rest goes into Talons of Power)When Arctic and his Winglet were passing Darkstakler in the lobby,he read Arctics mind and took a instant disliking to him(due to his name). Arctic later became under Darkstaklers spell to like him,but Darkstakler still doesn't like him.

Hmm.. I don't like OCs interacting with canon characters, it doesn't really work well. But I don't think this is bad. It seems kind of underdeveloped maybe? Like, I'd like to know what happens after he goes to JMA and all that. This doesn't really seem like it has an ending.. idk. I like his parents reasoning for sending him to JMA, and while you give a good reason for naming him Arctic, I still think a variation of the name would be more original.

Other: He has a crush on the Sandwing in his Winglet,Shine

I'll give Arctic a 7/10. I like his personality and appearance, though his backstory could use more development. It seems incomplete. I also just.. don't really like his name. Idk, maybe I'm being picky, but that's my opinion :3
