Alrighty, another healer. I still like healers.

Residence: Rainforest

Good

Appearance: He's a RainWing, but he prefers to stay a darkish purple. He has light lavender eyes and his head fin thingies are larger than usual. Other than that, he's pretty average.

Hmm, alright. Pretty simple. I like the lavender eyes.. but otherwise he seems pretty.. bland? Boring? Unoriginal? Idk. I think you could be more descriptive, he would stand out more!

Personality: He's very feminine and very indecisive (It takes him about an hour to pick what fruit he wants that night). He loves to decorate the healing den with all sorts of different flowers and stones. He isn't very serious and is pretty goofy, but he's good at his job of healing. (Literally the worst at fighting, very slow and clumsy)

Ahh, a good personality! I really like that he's feminine. A male dragon that's feminine isn't a personality you see often. He seems kind of stereotypical for a RainWing, but considering that pretty much every RainWing was like this (or so it seems) until pretty recently, that's not surprising. I think he has a good amount of flaws, too.

He reminds me of Jambu :3

Backstory: Acai and his sister, Heliconia, were raised to train and fight just like the other RainWing dragonets, but, while Heliconia was an average fighter, it came apparent that Acai absolutely could not fight. He was slow moving, easily distracted and just could not get his heart into it. The queen at the time, Queen Starfruit, informed him that a slot had opened in the healer's den, when one of the healers had passed of old age. Acai quickly took up on the offer and became an apprentice to Durian, the other healer. He caught on quickly to the procedures and memorized the herbs and poultices easily, and he then realized that being a healer was what he was meant to do. After becoming a full time healer a couple years later, a SeaWing with deep blue scales visited the RainWing village. Her name was Axolotl, and she was to stay in the forest for a while to observe the RainWing ways and different plant and animal life, because Queen Eelgrass was writing a scroll about the rainforest to distribute throughout the Kingdom of the Sea. Acai and Axolotl grew closer and closer, becoming good friends, and when Axolotl left to return to her home, they continued to send messages to each other. One day, Acai hopes they can be more than friends.

Aww! This is a sweet, simple backstory. I like it. I'm curious about when this takes place; before or after queen Glory made a lot of reforms to the tribe? Because I don't think queens before Glory trained RainWings to fight, so I'd assume after. Or a really long time ago, before RainWings turned into lazy idiots. Either way, I like it. Heh.

Overall
I'll give Acai an 9/10! I like him, really. Original name, good personality, cute backstory. I just think you could add a little more to his appearance, he seems lacking there. I get that RainWings don't have as much room for originality, considering that their scales change colors, but you could still add something notably unique about him other than his ruff.

Idk, again I might just be picky, and if I am them I'm sorry. But the entire point of my reviews is to offer some advice on how to improve your character, so I feel that doing a review where I don't point out something to change or add to is pretty pointless.

Anywho, he is a good character. I think he's definitely one of the better OCs that I've reviewed.
