--Blacklight Out--
Moons POV

The balloon we had crafted from the silk was self sustaining, since the heat from the flame silk kept us flying. I was surprised by how well the proportions worked out. It wasn't enough to burn the other silk, but just enough to keep a level height.
I still was not relaxed though. I did NOT want anymore tribes depending on me. Yet, here I was again believing in Luna, just like Darkstalker. Look how that turned out. The Ice kingdom took a total loss in lives, Everyone is skeptical, and I ruined it all by believing in him.                                               I felt Qibli presence next to me, he said without words "Stop worrying. Darkstalker, would've reacted the same way. Besides, you believing in people is one of your more admirable qualities."

I looked over and found Qibli grinning. I smiled back at him. I was immensely grateful for Qibli. In a manner of speaking, he was my tail, my balance in life. I sighed and leaned against him. Thank you, I thought.
He wrapped his wings around me in response. We had left at evening and now, twilight had come, and darkness had enveloped us, the only light provided by the warm glow of the flamesilk. I surveyed everyone around us,
Kinkajou was fatigued from missing out on her sun-time. Despite it, she persevered.
Turtle had given the two-way slate to Anemone, and was writing to her.
Luna and Swordtail, were still catching each other up on the events that transpired when she wasn't there. Of course with frequent questions from Luna. I was still kind of sad that Winter had not come. I looked below us, the ocean waves were difficult to see since it was night, although you could still hear the rolling waves.
For the past while, the balloon had maintained a good distance from the water of 50 feet. After that brief interlude, my thoughts went right back to Darkstalker.
       Qibli spoke aloud saying.
"Let me take your mind off of it. What constellations do you see right now?"
I allowed a small smile, Qibli new just how to distract me. I pointed out to the night sky, and I realized how clear it was. Without all the clouds from Pyrrhia I could see every star, in its gleaming brilliance.
I gasped, and heard Qibli chuckle. I studied the stars for a moment, lost in how BIG everything was, it was difficult to find normal constellations, since there were many other stars thrown into the mix. I started to point out several of them.                                                                                      Eventually the exhaustion of todays events settled on me heavily. Qibli noticed my exhaustion and said with concern,                                                                                                                                        "You need to sleep, you've been working hard, these past few days."                                                            I half mumbled a response                                                                                                                                              "But what if something exciting happens?"                                                                                                             He laughed, and then said                                                                                                                                                     "I'll wake you up then, now go too sleep"                                                                                                                I contemplated this, I was worried what would happen if I slept like this, but then again, sleep sounded really good right now. I nodded slightly, curled up next to Qibli and was snoring softly in seconds.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

--Qibli POV--

I woke up to the sun filtering through the sail, the warmth of the sun was welcoming. I stretched as much as I could, my muscles protesting sorely. I took a deep breath of what I had hoped to be fresh morning air, but coughed when I got a lungful of smoke.                                                                               Smoke?! I bolted upright and gazed upwards to our silk balloon. Our balloon was engulfed in fire, the flame resistant flamesilk trying to hold it together, but it did little to decrease our ever present descent. I looked below us and found the water getting closer and closer. Off in the distance, there was a sandy island with several trees.                                                                                                   Immediately my next thought was, get everyone to safety. I pushed Moon awake, and said,         "The Balloons on fire! We have to get out of here now! Fly to that island"                                                            I gestured to where the island was, she nodded her agreement and proceeded to wake everyone up. The emotions and thoughts in my head were getting to be too much. I shoved them off to the side as much as possible. I heard a terrified squeak from Kinkajou as she saw what was happening.                                                                                                                                                                        In a way I thought that this was my fault, I should've stayed awake. I could've avoided this. Too late for that now , got too make sure everyone gets to safety. As soon as everyone was awake we flew to the island. We watched as our contraption sank into the sea. The silk staying on top of the water for a minute longer.                                                                                                                                    A sense of dread had settled over the whole group, here we were, marooned on this island. With no way of knowing how far land was. What were we going to do now?

Sorry, that probably was too long. Wanted to make up for the super long break that I had, Thanks so much for reading this, i really appreciate all of you who read my stories. Have a great day. See y'all later.
