Hello lovelies!

I know many of you have been waiting for an update for a long time and, although I've mentioned this on my profile I figured it would be best to share it here too.

Wings of Fire: Dragonbite is going on an indefinite hiatus while I focus on rewriting the first book in this series. While I know this isn't the update you were hoping for, it's something I need to do in order to be happy with my story. Dragonbite is a story near and dear to my heart and Boto's character is one of the most complex characters in this winglet.

Honestly, that's part of the problem.

In rewriting the first book, my plan is to flesh out the characters that seemed more like caricatures (like Changbai! That poor boy got sidelined so fast and all he did was be nice. Or Sepia! She's an absolute queen, but you wouldn't know that from her three (3) lines of dialogue). Long story short, I'm taking a break from this piece of the story so that I can make the entire thing more engaging.

HOWEVER, that doesn't mean I'll be leaving Dragonbite's story on the shelf forever. In fact, once I finish The Forgotten Dragonets UPDATED I'll be rebooting Dragonbite too!

While I already know it's going to be a while before I am able to post the new and improved Dragonbite for you all to read, I figured you deserve a bit of a treat for you patience. What do you think of the new cover? And, if you haven't read The Forgotten Dragonets UPDATED, what are you waiting for!
