Winter POV

Qibli followed Winter outside the Cafe, and placed his hand gently on his shoulder. Winter was shocked by Qibli's touch, and jumped a bit. "Look, I'm really sorry about Kinkajou. She was just trying to reduce the awkwardness," said a flustered Qibli.

Winter opened his mouth to say something, but no words came out. "I-its fine, not her fault..." replied Winter.

He thought of all the "fun" he'd had in the break. All he could think of was his drunk father, verbally and physically abusing him. The smashed bottle. The wound left him broken. That was the day he almost killed himself. That was, until he got a text from Qibli, which reminded him why he was worth being alive. He stopped himself.

Winter felt the tears well up in his eyes. He sat down miserably on a bench. Qibli sat beside him and stared into his arctic blue eyes. Qibli wrapped his arms around Winter's shoulders and whispered, "Let them fall," delicately in his ear. A single tear fell from Winter's eye and Qibli wiped it off affectionately with the back of his hand.

Winter leaned into the embrace and leaned his head into Qibli's chest. "Wanna talk about it?" asked Qibli. "Umm... I guess so," Winter admitted. "Narwhal is such a BITCH" Winter yelled. Qibli grabbed his hand and squeezed it.  "Dude, chill," he said soothingy. "... It's just t-that... Mmmf," said Winter.

Qibli stroked Winter's hair gently, earning a glare from the cold teen.

Qibli POV

Qibli looked around for a while, and suddenly heard a soft sob escape from Winter. He turned to look at his best 'FRIEND' and felt the butterflies in his stomach when he realised they were still holding hands. Qibli let go of Winter's hand and unintentionally cupped Winter's cheek in his hand, much to Winter's surprise. A bright red blush dotted Winter's face, at which Qibli smirked.

"I'll give you 50 dollars to never speak of this again," he growled. Qibli laughed. "Deal."
