Moon POV

Today's the first day back.... Fun...

Moon had faced a LOT of drama in the previous year. Like, A LOT. There was the whole love triangle fiasco, and that wasn't the best...

She was headed to the Outclaw Cafe to meet with her besties. She lived considerably close to the Cafe, so she just walked it.

Kinkajou and Turtle were already there, which was expected, and were sharing a rainbow smoothie.

Awwwwwwwwwwwww!!! They're so cute togetherrr!

She smiled at the sight, and went over to greet her friends. "Hey guys! How was your summer?" she asked the couple. "OMG IT WAS SO FUNNNNN!!! ME AND TURTLE HAD SO MANY SLEEPOVERS TOGETHER!!!!" Kinkajou squealed.

Moon smirked. "....ok...." Kinkajou and Turtle both blushed. Moon opened her mouth to say something else, two iconic humans walked through the door; Qibli and Winter. Qibli was dragging Winter to the table to join them, while Winter had his usual scowl on.

She noticed how Winter actually let Qibli hold his arm to drag him along. She also noticed that his usual scowl wasn't as cold. It was a bit softer. WEIRD.

"Hey Moon!" said Qibli, giving her a hug. "Hey, wassup?" Moon asked. "Well, Winter's been acting a bit...weird..." said Qibli. He glanced worriedly at Winter. "I picked him up from his house, and we came straight here." "Oh...Kay, cool," said Moon awkwardly. "Ok guys! Let's order some foooood!" Said Kinkajou.

Qibli POV

They called a waiter over, and ordered what they wanted. "I'll have a sandwich and a strawberry milkshake," said Winter. Qibli smirked at the response.  Winter rolled up his sleeves, which revealed a bunch of cuts on his pale skin. He gasped as the wounds, speechless.

Is this what Winter has to deal with everyday?

Moon shot him a puzzled look, to which he gestured that he'll tell her later. Winter noticed this and frowned. He nudged Qibli in the ribs, making him wince. "What happened?" He asked Qibli, glancing at Moon then Qibli then Moon, then Qibli. "N-nothing..." stuttered Qibli. His gaze shifted to Moon, who shivered under his cold gaze.

Kinkajou suddenly decided to break the tension at the table by asking, "Hey Winter, how was your summer??? Did you have fun??" Qibli shot her a look. 'NOT THE TIME, KINKAJOU' Kinkajou realised what she said and clasped her hands over her mouth. Turtle wrapped his arm around her comfortingly.

Winter POV

Winter winced.

WHY THAT QUESTION???? WHY NOT ANYTHING ELSE????   (Cuz Winter is our traumatized boi)

"It was absolutely fine," replied Winter, as monotonous as he possibly could be. He cried internally, trying to stop his emotions from flowing out.

He felt Qibli's arm wrap around his shoulder defensively. He unconsciously leaned into Qibli, leaning his head on Qibli's shoulder. Qibli's face turned a bright red. He realised what he was doing, and quickly moved away, feeling his OWN face heat up. He noticed Moon and Kinkajou smiling at this, and he glared at them both. Even TURTLE couldn't hold back a smirk. Winter huffed and got up from the table and attempted to leave.
