Turtle POV

The alarm blarred in Turtle's ears, and sent his eyes flying open. Turtle checked his phone for the time. It was 6:15 am.  He sat up in bed, looking at Umber peacefully sleeping. 

Aww. I don't have the heart to wake him up...

Turtle was an early riser, and liked to have some time to do things slowly in the mornings. He opened his book and somehow found his page again. (I envy you Turtle. i can never find my page again >:[) He quickly pulled out his phone and set another alarm for 6:45. Thats when he'll stop reading and start getting ready instead. 

He sighed to himself.

Chapter 5. Okayy.

Turtle reads for a while, his expression changing everytime something new happens. Umber had woken up a few minutes ago, and was watching Turtle gasp and smile at the book. Turtle on the other hand, was completely clueless and had no idea that Umber was watching him. "Hey Turtle, what'cha readin'?" asked a mysterious voice. Turtle yelped, clearly not expecting Umber to be awake at this time.

"O-oh hey Umber! Didn't know you were awake right now..." said Turtle, awkwardly scratching the back of his neck, "yeah uh this book is called 'Red, White & Royal Blue' by Casey McQuiston. Its about the son of the US president and the Prince of England... Really good book- I totally recommend it!!!" exclaimed Turtle, his eyes lighting up at the thought of this book.

AND ITS SUPER CUTE. I SHIP ALEX AND HENRY SO MUCH!

(i swear its all the kinkajou rubbing off on him-) Their morning was really chilled out, Turtle got changed and packed his bag. Umber ate a sandwich because he found one leftover from the previous night, and he was super hungry.  (okay uh they have smth like the prey centre here, so uhhh they go eat there. its kinda like a small cafe with breakfast and lunch items. Dinner is up to them. ALSO CLASSES START AT 8:45 SO THEY HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO EAT AND SHIT BC I FEEL LIKE LETTING THEM HAVE THE LUXURY THEY DON'T DESERVE) "Hey, let's go to the cafe. We can eat something there," suggested Turtle, craving coffee. "OoOoOoOoOooOoooOh oki! Sounds good to me," laughed Umber. 

By this time they were both ready and went to the cafe to eat. Turtle ordered a cappuccino cuz he wasn't that hungry and Umber ate bacon and eggs. "Hey Turtle, are you gonna eat anything?" Umber asked, his mouth slightly full. Turtle smiled a little at Umber's funny face. "Nah, its okay. I'll eat later. I'm not that hungry right now..." The truth is Turtle has always been bullied by his brothers for being fat. He tries to eat less, and ever since then, his appetite has gone down drastically. Even Coral noticed his loss of appetite recently. Turtle honestly doesn't think much of it, and it hasn't really affect him. So... It should be fine.

 It was 7: 30 am now, and Turtle and Umber finished eating and decided to chill for a while, since it was only the first day. Kinkajou and Moon on the other hand- weren't doing so well.

Kinkajou POV

Qibli gazed into Winter's eyes, his face heating up. Winter the oblivious idiot was staring at him like he was sick. "Qibli? Are you okay? Your face is all red..." he asked, concerned. Qibli's face became even more red. "What?- Uhm- I'm FINE!" he stammered. "Uh... You don't look very 'okay' right now..." Qibli then-

"Kinkajou! Wake up!!! We're late!!!!!!!!!!" said Moon, shaking Kinkajou's shoulders. Kinkajou jolted awake. "AHHH WHAT'S THE TIME???" she panicked. Moon checked the clock on the wall which she managed to install during their "organizing" session the previous day. "UH ITS 7:57!" she said, freaking out. "I knew we slept in... Oh no..." she said, pacing around the room. "OKay... We should get ready instead of hanging around like a bunch of sloths..." Moon hurried and decided to get ready. She shot into the bathroom with clothes she had already prepared the day before.

Woah. I never knew Moon was so fast... I'll take note of that

Kinkajou got up from bed tiredly and trudged to get some clothes. She settled on a yellow t-shirt with a smiley face on it, and some denim shorts. 

AMAZHANG

She grabbed her bag and packed a few things inside, like her pencil case, water bottle and phone. A moment later, Moon dashed out of the bathroom- she was wearing a dark green shirt with a white collar and brown pants. 

Hmmm... Looks comfy.

Kinkajou quickly changed into her outfit and wore her navy blue Converse shoes. She brushed her hair aggressively, feeling stings on her scalp as she combed faster. She tied her hair into a lopsided ponytail and shot out of the bathroom. 

DANG IT. I FORGOT TO BRUSH MY TEETH

Moon watched her, an amused grin forming on her earlier panicked face. Kinkajou brushed her teeth with her rainbow toothpaste she made Glory buy off Amazon. She was DEFINITELY NOT using Moon's charcoal toothpaste. Ew. (JK CHARCOAL TOOTHPASTE IS THE BEST. MY FAVOURITE TOOTHPASTE) 

She finished up and spat out the toothpaste, the cold feeling of toothpaste burning her tongue. She finished and headed outside the bathroom. She heard Moon sigh in relief. "Phew! Only fourteen minutes passed since we got up!" "I'm hungry." came Kinkajou's blunt reply. 

Moon giggled. "Okayy... we can go to the cafe now don't worry."
