Moon POV

Moon was worried about Qibli. She thought of him as the brother she never had. She was glad Winter was with him, to keep him company. She grinned at the thought.

Qinter.

Kinkajou, Turtle, and her went straight back to their rooms, after the events of the evening. Moon sat tiredly on the bed, wondering what to do. Kinkajou plopped down beside her and sat in an awkward silence for a few minutes.

Kinkajou wanted to loosen up the tension and they decided to talk about the thing Kinkajou was best at. Shipping. "Y'know what, Moon? Let me take you through my FaVoUrItEsHiPs!" (EHEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEEHEEHEHEHEHEHHHEHHEEEHHEEHEEH) Moon agreed, and by that time, Kinkajou was bursting with information. "OMG PERIL AND CLAY ARE JUST SO ✨✨✨✨✨!" squeals Kinkajou, shaking Moon out of any thoughts. "WHAT D'YA THINK, MOON?" Moon thinks about it for a few seconds. "I can see it," she responds, remembering Peril's questionable behavior around the kind and always-hungry Clay. "Hmmmm..." starts Moon, "What do you think about... Glorybringer?" Moon asked, a sly smile on her face. Kinkajou squealed even louder at that.

"Recently Deathbringer invited Glory to some place... I forgot where though... YOu KnOw WhaT? THaT iS fUlLy UnReLaTed. Riiiiiight. He invited her somewhere and... little did Glory know... I followed her..." said Kinkajou, her face somewhat resembling a devil. Moon laughed. "That is SO YOU KINKAJOU," she giggled. "And after some time... They started making out! And I was just hiding behind something like 'What the heck is going on?'" Kinkajou laughed. "Ooh, and GLory is ALWAYS texting DB. It's absolutely HILARIOUS," said Kinkajou hysterically.

"Kinkajou, you are such a VIBE." "I KNOW RIGHHHHTTTTTT!" exclaims Kinkajou, flipping her hair, and striking a pose. Moon pretends to snap a picture of Kinkajou, and Kinkajou strikes multiple more poses. "Oh. My. God. The BEST SHIP tho is-" "You and Turtle?" asked Moon slyly. Kinkajou blushes. "I-I-I mean...y-yeah! But l-like... you know...." she said, stuttering a lot. "I meant Qinter." she says, her usual personality returning. Moon grinned. "QINTER, hmmmm? I absolutely L O V E it!" she exclaims. "Okay, so ummmmm.... remember when Qibli got sick...? And I told Winter to carry him back...?" Asked Moon, giggling. "I kinda did that on purpose..." She laughed, and Kinkajou gasped in fake shock. "Omg really??? No wayyyyyyy." Replied Kinkajou.

Moon froze. "Wait a sec... Was that the great, excited Kinkajou being... SARCASTIC?" Kinkajou cackled and shoved a cushion at Moon. "Hey! I got an idea! Wanna have a PiLLoW FiGhT?" asked Kinkajou goofily. (idk if that's even a word man, but liek yea) Moon hesitated. "Uhhhhhh... I don't know... You know what? Yeah! Let's do it!" said Moon smiling. "Later though obviously-" she added quickly, just as Kinkajou went to grab a big pillow. Kinkajou always made things better with her silliness. (NOT A SHIP. MOONS AROACE AND TURTLEJOU IS AWESOME)

"Hey, you hungry?" asked Moon. "Uh yea kinda... Lettuce go to that McDonald's they have down the road!" Kinkajou exclaimed, lighting up at the suggestion. "Oh. I was thinking we could buy something, and get it back because... Yeah," mumbled Moon. "Oh. Uhhhh... OoH! ImMa sHoW yOu A mAgIc TrIcK!" declared Kinkajou. "O-oh! Okay!" replied Moon, startled by Kinkajou's sudden announcement. "SHut your eyeeeeeesssss," said Kinkajou, stretching out the vowels. "Okay, okay CHILL," replied Moon, giggling. Moon shut her eyes, and heard Kinkajou walk over to some place in their room, open a bag and come back over to the bed. "Opennnnnnn!" Kinkajou half-yelled. Moon's eyes flew open. She gasped. In front of her sat a very proud Kinkajou, holding a pizza box. "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT FROM?" Moon asked frantically. "Oh. I got it some time ago from Domino's," said Kinkajou, shrugging her shoulders carelessly. "WHEN WAS 'some time ago' EXACTLY?" Moon asked, suddenly skeptical. "About a week or two ago," says Kinkajou thoughtfully. "HOW- Calm down Moon, chill.... Okay... I mean I GUESS we could eat it?" hesitates Moon.

I swear if my stomach acts up-

Kinkajou whoops and digs in, and not a very civilised 'digs in'. "Nononononono, Kinkajouuu, not on the bedddd!" complained Moon, dusting away some crumbs which Kinkajou successfully dropped on the bed. "Oh- oopsh," said Kinkajou sheepishly, her mouth full. Kinkajou hurries over to a small coffee table and sits there. Moon giggles and joins her, slowly nibbling at her slice of pizza.

Turtle POV

He was back in his room with Umber. Apparently Umber went to his friend's room, because he wasn't there in the room when Turtle walked in. That is, until Umber walked out of the bathroom right as Turtle was pouring himself a glass of water. Turtle yelped and spilled water all over himself. "AHHHH!" he shrieked. Umber froze in place. "Oh my gosh, I'm sorry," said Umber, taking a cloth to wipe some of the water the spilled on the counter. "It's fine, don't worry!" reassured Turtle, going to get a change of clothes. Turtle walked out of the bathroom to see Umber vigorously cleaning the spill. The second he noticed Turtle, he ran up to him and started apologising continuously.

Soon, Turtle's stomach growled loudly, making Umber laugh. Turtle covered his face with his hands and muttered gibberish under his breath. "Since today's the first day, Thorn (the principal) let Clay visit us!" exclaimed Umber. "He said he was gonna get food, so I mean..." "Oh...okay... Cool!"

I like Clay. He's super nice. He's also Peril's friend. Wait no- 'fRiEnD'.

After around 10 minutes Clay walked in with a HUMONGOUS paper bag full of food. He clumsily walked towards the counter, and placed it on top. "Hi Clay!" said Umber, running up to his brother happily and hugging him. "Hey Umber! What's up?" asked Clay, affectionately ruffling Umber's brown hair. He noticed that Clay and Umber were wearing matching hoodies.

Awwww! I wish MY siblings were so nice... >:0

"This is my roommate Turtle! Say hi Turtle!" exclaimed Umber, gesturing at Turtle standing awkwardly near them. Turtle waved. "Uh hi! I've heard a lot about you from Peril," he says. Clay's face goes red for a few seconds, before pointing at the huge bag of food. "Anyone hungry?" "Hell yeah!" says Umber. Clay removed the contents of the bag. Clearly, he thought about Turtle too, as there was three of everything.

Umber must've told him about me...

There was A LOT of food. There was some sandwiches, milkshakes, french fries, chicken nuggets and donuts. Turtle gasped. "Everything alright?" asked Umber, nudging Turtle on the shoulder. "Y-yeah. That's just... A LOT of food," he said, trying to hide his amazement. Turtle decided to finally start actually eating after picking at his food for some time. He ate a sandwich, had some amount of milkshake and tried to eat some chicken.

BLEH. Fish is wayyyyy better.

Clay and Umber were seriously on a roll. They ate A LOT. "Uhhh... I'm um... a bit... full," said Turtle shyly. "Oh. You could chill if you wanna, cuz I'm gonna eat WAY MORE," laughed Umber. Turtle washed his hands thoroughly and grabbed his phone, he lay down on the bed and started watching YouTube shorts because yes. By then Clay and Umber finished, and Clay headed home, as he had to meet Peril for something. Umber yawned and went to change into something comfy. He wore a loose t-shirt and track pants. Turtle on the other hand, was forced to wear a nightsuit Coral bought for him a few weeks ago. He groaned internally, eyeing the annoyingly cute turtles on the pyjamas.

I see you were feeling real creative, mom.

Turtle yawned too, and brought out his extra blanket, extra-extra blanket, extra-extra-extra blanket, socks, and his book. He was currently reading 'Red, White and Royal Blue' by Casey McQuiston. (great book btw, y'all should read it). It was about the US President's Son Alex, and the Prince of England; Henry. (not any real guy, its some other made up dude) They meet at Henry's brother's wedding after years, and there happens to be a 'small' um... INCIDENT. Not to mention, Alex and Henry HATE each other... That is, until Henry develops a crush on Alex. (im going off topic help-)

Turtle sleepily opens his book and starts reading. CHAPTER FOUR. Turtle skims reads some part of the chapter, but his eyes fly open towards the end, where Henry kis- SPOILERSSSS.

Turtle reads another two chapters, and notices his eyes drooping. He closes the book, but forgets the bookmark.

FISHCRACKERS! ...actually... this sounds like a future me problem.

And he drifted off to sleep.

Bonus Peril POV (CLERIL AHEAD)

Peril texted Clay.

Peril: Hiii

Clay: Hey peril! wassup

Peril: nothin. wanna come over? im chilling by the lake for some time after dinner

Clay: oh. i have to meet umber and his roommate for dinner... but i could come after that!

Peril: Oh oki! Cool. What time?

Clay: 9:00?

Peril: yeah that works!

cya!

Clay: bye!

Peril groaned. Her stomach was hurting for the past three days and she didn't know what to do. She had actually wanted to go to school, but she had to leave for the day because of her stomach ache. She stayed in a house with Ruby and Cliff, as she ran away from Scarlet, who was her previous guardian. Ruby was really nice, and Peril was grateful to be able to live with her. She wanted to make sure that tonight was PERFECT. It was kinda like a date... just... NOT a date. Peril wanted to get Clay something, but... She didn't know what. Suddenly, Ruby's voice snapped her out of her thoughts. "Peril!!! Dinner's ready!!" Peril shivered and headed downstairs for dinner. Ruby had made some pasta for her and Cliff. Peril smiled. Ruby was very nice.

Ruby POV

"Ooh! Pasta! My favourite! Thanks, Ruby." Peril said, eating the pasta at an alarming speed. Ruby laughed. "Anytime, Peril," she said kindly, looking at Peril affectionately. Ruby paused for a second. "Why the rush?" she asked, as Peril normally eats at a normal-ish pace.

Peril's face is dotted with a light blush. Ruby smirks. "Are you meeting Clay???" she asked teasingly. "Ugh. Ruuuuby. Stoppppp." said Peril, slightly annoyed. "Okay... I am going to meet Clay. Also I dunno what to get him, and I have to get him something because tonight HAS to be perfect. I just need to make everything go as smoo-" "Peril, calm down. I have a box of chocolates if you want to give him that..." suggested Ruby. Peril's face lit up. "Really??? Thankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyouthankyou," rambled Peril happily. She went up and hugged Ruby. "When will you be back though?" asked Ruby sternly. "I can't allow any 'sleepovers'." Peril groaned. "Heavens no Ruby! I'll be back by... 11:00?" she asked. Ruby sighed. "Oh alright. Have fun! ...just not... TOO much fun..." she called after Peril as she raced out the door.
