~ Raindrop's POV~ (hehehe)

" Raindrop there's something I need to tell you."

Images of my mother flashed through Jade's mind, and all I could feel was fear and sadness from her emotions.

" umm... Okay, is everything okay?" I ask her

" Well... N-not really" she stammers.

"What is it Jade?" I say to her more sternly making what scales I could change turn a scarlet color.

" Well.... A long time ago..., actually three years ago I met a dragon in the wood not to far from here. I was hunting and she stole my meal which I desperately needed. She ended up attacking me and gave me this scar..."she stated.

" Jade..... Please just tell me.." I say

" Raindrop.... That dragon..... She, umm, she was your mother...." She says slowly...

I just stared at her in disbelief. Would my mother do that? Why, why would she, there had to be an explanation. M-maybe she didn't mean to do it...

" M-maybe it wasn't her, yeah, it could have been a different Rainwing!" I say to her fast.

She looks at me with her jade colored eyes " what other Rainwing would eat meat or is known for combat?" She questions me

I look down at my talons and shake my head. " No, no this can't be happening this just can happen."

" Raindrop I'm so sorry I just thought that yo-" she started to say

" you just thought I would like to know huh?? You just though it was the best thing!!" I snarl at her. " everything was fine and happy until this!"

"Raindrop.... Please.." She pleads

" you know what, meet me here tomorrow at noon." I have an idea. I say to her still keeping speckles of red on my scales.

She looks up at me with tears in her eyes,........ "Please just remember that you are a great friend..............okay?" is all I hear from her thoughts. She gets up from her rock and head towards the tree line.

I look up at her keeping my anger inside the best I could..... "Okay."

" I'll see you tomorrow Raindrop" I hear her think while images of our first encounter flood her mind with sorrow.

As soon as she's out of sight on cover my head with my wings and cry.

Please, three moons please don't let my plan fail tomorrow...... This has to work... It had to... I have to save my friendship.... And the only why I can do that is for Jade to meet a special dragon....
