Maleficent was still awake when Wavemover and Stargazer woke up. She could tell by all of the claws scraping against the stone floor and Wavemover's booming voice.

"Mother, Father! Wake up! It's time for school to start!" yelled Wavemover.  "It's morning already?" asked her Father, in a panicked way. "I should've been there hours ago!"  "It's okay Father." said Wavemover. Maleficent's Father ran out the cave opening, and flew toward the school.  "Wait for me Father!" Wavemover yelled. Stargazer sprinted and flew to catch up to her brother and Father. Maleficent and her Mother were the only ones left.  

"Shall we go?" her Mother asked.  "Sure." replied Maleficent. They flew off into the sky. It turns out they were the last ones there. All of the teachers were already there, waiting for them.

"Welcome!" said Sunny.  "It's about time, Starflight." Tsunami grumbled.  "Sorry, I slept in." Starflight apologized, but smiling gleefully. Then, Clay came up, beaming down at Starflight and Fatespeaker. "Haha! Nice to see you again!" said Clay. he hugged her Dad, so hard, he gasped for air.  "Clay!" he said. " A little to hard!"  "Sorry. Just excited. Hey Fatespeaker! How you doing?" Clay said.  "I'm doing fine." she replied.  Just then, a Rainwing walked in the room. 'Oh no.' Maleficent thought. 'Not her.'

Queen Glory of the Rainwings and the Nightwings came beside Starflight and greeted him.  "Hello Starflight, ready for another year of teaching?" she asked.  "Not really." Starflight said sarcastedly. "But I'll try." Then,  Queen Glory looked at Maleficent and her siblings. "Oh my, they've grown so much!" she smiled.  Maleficent grumbled.  

"Where's our rooms?" asked Wavemover excitedly.  "Why don't you look for your selves?" Tsunami said. "You can also explore if you want to, class doesn't start for a while."  "Alright!" Wavemover said. "Come on Stargazer!" and they skipped out of sight.  

Just then another Nightwing with a Icewing came souring down in the open room.  "Sorry I'm late. Got caught up in something." said the Nightwing."No problem Moonwatcher!" said Clay.  "Are you sure about this Moon?" asked the Icewing.  "Of course I am, Winter."  'The Icewing prince, with that Nightwing?' Maleficent thought. 'Interesting.'  "Hello Moon." said Starflight. "Have you met my children yet?"  Moon looked at Maleficent, and shook her head.  "No I don't think so."  And she looked at Maleficent with worried eyes. Just then, she broke down, clutching her head. Clay  and Prince Winter caught her.  'What's happening? Why did she look at me like that?'  Maleficent thought, confused.  Then, Moon got up, and seemed to be okay again.  "Starflight, can I talk to you and Fatespeaker, alone?"  "Uh, sure." said Starflight.  "Um, Maleficent, you can go explore if you want, we will handle this." said Maleficent's Mother. 

Once her Mother and Father were out of sight, Maleficent shrugged, and went to find her room.  Once she found her name on a wall, next to a room, she walked in.  The different beds in the room indicated that there were going to be other dragonets, from different tribes. Maleficent grumbled, and chose the bed she chose to her liking. Her bed had some smooth pebbles and rocks, like her bed. She lit it up, and slumped down. She looked around the room, and spotted some scrolls on the racks. 'I suppose I could read some when I'm waiting.' She thought. She got up and walked over to them.  She judged them by their titles.

The Best Fruits in the Rain forest, The legend of the Sand Monster, Guide to Getting to the top Circle-Icewings... It went on and on. She was about to give up, 'till she saw a scroll called, The Rise and Fall of Queen Scarlet of the Skywings. Her eyes widened when she saw this. She sat at her spot and started reading. She read the scroll in at least thirty minutes because it was so long. At the end, it said...

As she was sitting on her thrown, she saw five dragonets fly down to the ground. She flew down to investigate. She soon figured out that those five dragonets were the Dragonets of Destiny. She captured them and put them in her arena. They tried escaping once, but failed. They tried escaping again, this time succeeding, and frying her face with acid. She then went into hiding, and used a dream visitor to use dragons to assassinate them. Her dragonet, Ruby, then became queen of the Skywings. She was found by another group of dragonets, but escaping them. No one has seen her again...

Just then, a Sandwing came in, picked her spot she liked, and sat down.  "Oh great, another bookworm Nightwing." he said. He looked about her age, with pale yellow scales, black eyes, and was quite large.  "For your information, I was bored, and I don't read scrolls that much." Maleficent growled.  He stared at her with wondering eyes.  "Your different than other Nightwings, what's your name?" he asked.  "Why should I tell you?" she said. "Because I asked." said the Sandwing.  "You tell me your name first." said Maleficent.  "Fine. I'm Pixel."said Pixel.  Maleficent almost laughed.  "Pixel?"  "I don't have a normal Mother." he said, growling.  "Who's your mother?" asked Maleficent. He hesitated for a second.  "She is Sunny." he said.  Maleficent raised her brows.  "But she doesn't have a mate." Maleficent said.   " It doesn't matter, she still had me." he growled.  "Now, what's your name." he asked.  Maleficent smirked. "It's Maleficent. My mother is Fatespeaker, and my father is Starflight."

He nodded. Just then, Sunny came in.  "Oh good, I thought you two would be a good match."she said. They both looked at each other, glared, and looked away.  "Mother, are you sure I should stay?"  Sunny frowned. "Well, I guess it's your choice, but I would like you too."  Pixel grunted and murmured "Fine."  "Oh, and class begins in an hour. I hope you two do get along." and with that, she walked away. Maleficent looked at him, a thought crossing her mind. 'Maybe he could.' but she quickly whisked it away. And she started reading again.
