Back To Shredstone Walls

It had been three days since the attack of the Skrill on Fire Heart. Silvia and Juniper had been staying on the rock near Shredstone Walls. Silvia flew to the island with Juniper on her back and landed by the cove. Silvia walked up the island. She was a little worried, it had been a week since she had seen SilverShadow, would her dragon still remember her? Silvia pushed her thoughts away and continued walking.

Silvia thought she heard a metallic sound. she stopped and looked around, all was quiet. After a minute she continued walking. Suddenly a Razorwhip dropped down on her from above, pining her to the ground. The Razorwhip roared and held up its tail, getting ready to shoot spikes at Silvia. Silvia reached in her pocket for some dragon nip, but she couldn't find any. She looked at the dark purple eyes of the dragon. Silvia noticed another Razorwhip flying towards them at high speed, the dragon stopped above them and shot spikes at the Razorwhip pinning down Silvia. A spike hit the dragon on top of Silvia and it fell on the ground. Silvia got up and saw SilverShadow land next to her, her dragon had come to her rescue. Silvia hugged SilverShadow's neck. Silvia pulled away and saw that the spike had hit the other dragon between the scales on the left underside of its neck. She gently took out the razor sharp spike and the Razorwhip soon stood up again. Silvia placed her hand in the same place on SilverShadow and she fell to the ground. "This is the Razorwhip's weak spot, underneath their scales" Silvia murmured as she quickly wrote it down.

SilverShadow was now bigger then a yak and her spikes, wings, tail and horn had grown and were much sharper. She was sly, quick and deadly. The Razorwhip that attacked Silvia turned out to be SilverShadow's mother, she had only attacked Silvia to protect her daughter. SilverShadow calmed down her mother and Silvia was able to stroke her, she was a grey colour rather then silver like her daughter.

After some time with SilverShadow and her mother, Silvia climbed and sat on the back of SilverShadow, she held onto the scales on her neck and SilverShadow flew up into the sky. After flying around the island they landed by the cave. They went inside and Silvia saw that SilverShadow had made a big nest of heather and rocks. SilverShadow lay down, there was still space for Silvia and a small rock where Juniper could sleep. Silvia gathered wood and SilverShadow lit a fire. Silvia fell asleep with her dragon wrapped around her and the light of the burning ashes making the cave glow.

Silvia woke up early the next morning and packed her backpack. She had decided to go on a trip with SilverShadow for a few days. Silvia got on Silvershadow's back and they flew over the ocean away from the island. After a few hours of flying Silvia saw a familiar island in the distance. It was a trading island that Silvia had visited lots when she was younger because the blacksmith she had worked with worked there.

Silvia steered SilverShadow towards the island and they landed behind some rocks. Silvia took her backpack and made sure SilverShadow was out of sight.
"Stay here girl, I won't be long" said Silvia as she walked up the steps. Silvia found herself in a crowd of people wondering from stall to stall, looking for the things they came to buy. Silvia turned right and walked towards the forge where the blacksmith worked. Silvia walked through the back entrance and put down her backpack. The blacksmith handed a spear to a man and took the money before coming into the forge.

"Hello there Silvia, what a nice surprise!" Said the blacksmith as soon as he saw her.
"Hello again, I was wondering if I could use the forge to make some things?" "Yeah, why not? Go ahead." "Thanks" Silvia said as she turned and went into the forge. Silvia took out the measurements for SilverShadow's saddle and got to work. She made a beautiful saddle of leather and wool with pouches to keep things in. It had a horseshoe shaped iron ring at the top of the saddle that Silvia could hold onto and use to steer SilverShadow. Silvia took the saddle and went out of the forge. "Thank you, I might be back again at some point if that's okay?" "You're welcome lass and come back whenever you want" said the blacksmith as he got to work making a sword. Silvia kept the saddle hidden as she walked back to SilverShadow.

Silvia walked past the trees and found SilverShadow laying in a patch of sunlight. SilverShadow purred and walked over to Silvia as soon as she saw her. Silvia attached the saddle and put her backpack and some dragon nip one of the pouches. Silvia got on her dragon and they flew into the air. The saddle fitted perfectly and was comfy for both Silvia and SilverShadow.

They flew low over the water towards the fair side of the island so they wouldn't be seen. As they turned a corner Silvia spotted a ship. The ship was huge with large sails, traps, cages and tons of armed guards. This was a dragon hunter ship.
Silvia flew SilverShadow to a rock and told her to stay there while she went to take a closer look.

Silvia walked towards the dragon hunter ship. She saw the captain walk up the steps and decided to follow him. The captain bought tons of weapons and traps then returned to the ship. The ship sailed out of the island and away towards the sea. Silvia went back to SilverShadow and they were soon in the air following the ship.
