This is my first egg contest, it goes to drawgonite. My entry is hopefully the one you pick. I had a ton of fun.

In the tribe of the Seawings, an island will change to winter within time, waters will crystallize, nature will shatter, the tree of coral will wither within the days, hides within the night

Guess 1 is in the Skywing kingdom, but it's an island so I'm counting it as the Sea Kingdom. Ok, good. Glad that's cleared up. It is in the north and kind of in the cold, which explains the turning to winter. It is an island. Up that far north, the days and nights are slightly messed up so half the year is light and half the year is dark. That is the 'hides within the night' thing. That is my first guess.

Guess 2 is an island in the bay of one thousand scales. It is in the area that would be a temperate zone, so it would have all four seasons like winter, spring, fall, and summer. The crystallizing water is the water freezing and a coral reef could have different coral formations. Maybe the angles of the sun hit the egg but not any moon light so it hides within the night.

Beta swam through a tangle of kelp, cold currents washing over her scales. She dove and twirled and flipped. She could be free here. Away from duties and expectations... and her father, her mind continued. She remembered his face, disappointed, mouth turned down in a tiny frown. His eyes were angry and Moray, next to him, looked scandalized. She remembered the feeling. Just as she was about to announce to her family her choice of career, she had a worm of doubt. She stepped up and cleared her throat. "I wish to become a healer and a teacher." She whispered. Queen Coral beamed at her. Beta's father flashed something discreetly. You are great. You would have been commander after me. Get out of my sight! She fled in embarrassment. Her father would never agree. The only future he wanted her to have was a fighting future. So here she was. On the outskirts of the Sea Kingdom, near the shore of an island. A coward. Fleeing from her own father. A piece of bright salmon coral grew like a tree in the water, latched onto the side of an island, roots wedged into the sandy soil. Jelly-like anemones encircled a round shape. An egg. Beta gently picked up the egg and saw cracks peppered the surface of the shell. Rage filled her and her mind began to angrily rant. Why would anyone leave their egg? It didn't have a chance. I'll take care of it since its PARENTS clearly DIDN'T! She gathered sea sponges and made a nest, setting the egg into it. She curled around it, gently protecting the shell. Don't worry. I will protect you. Beta drifted off to sleep, dreams of Shark's ringing words racing through her subconsciousness. She woke to the sound of clicking talons and found herself peering into sapphire eyes.
