Conclusions and visions

Adrien came running back after about fifteen minutes with the peacock brooch in his hand. He declared that he would be the one to do the fusion, which Marinette obliged to. He took back the ladybug earrings, and handed Marinette the ring of the cat, as to not have anything bad happen with his luck.

"You got this Adrien." Marinette encouraged.

"You know what to do." Tikki nodded.

"CHEESE!" Plagg burped.

"This is sudden." Dusuu, the peacock kwami whimpered.

"Sorry, Dusuu." Adrien apologized.

"That's alright. I just want to see Emily again." She sniffed.

"Ok," Adrien took a deep breath. "Dusuu, Tikki, Unify!"

He was transformed into Misterbug, with peacock wings and blue accents. His mask was rather dark, and black, instead of red. He stood confidently in his new form. He then walked over to where his mom was placed in his reading room, looking as if she had fallen asleep in her chair. Adrien felt stiff, as he crouched down next to her.

"I'm not really sure what to do." He said to Marinette, who was looking at him sadly.

"Adrien," she began. "I think..."

"Maybe just wait till she wakes up?" Adrien offered.

"No. Give the miraculous time to heal, then detransform. I think if you give your mom the brooch once it is fixed, all will be better." Marinette replied.

"You're right," Adrien said as he stood back up. He walked back to Marinette, still looking at his mom. He sighed, "She's gonna be so different if this works."

"Adrien I need to tell you something completely unrelated!" Marinette blurted out. She instantly clasped a hand over her mouth.

"What?" He asked, kindly.

"Well um... Well I'm sure it's super obvious but..." She looked at her toes. "Gosh this is a weird time to be saying this. Adrien... Adrien I think I'm in love with you."

"I already knew that." He smiled.

"What?" Marinette blinked a couple times.

"I'm pretty sure you already told me."  He shrugged. "And if not I already knew anyways. And the reality is, I like you too."

"Y-you do?" Marinette felt her face heat up. Adrien didn't seem to ever look away from her.

"Of course I do. I told you that too." Adrien sighed. "Do me a favor? Don't ever scare me like that ever again."

"Are you telling me not to get stabbed?" Marinette asked. "Cause I cannot assure that."

"Hold on," he cupped her face. "I just need to check something."

"What on earth are you talking about?" Marinette giggled.

"You still look smart. You still look courageous..." he acted like he was inspecting her face.

"Adrien what are you-"

"Gorgeous eyes? Check. Pretty hair? Check. Adorable freckles? Check" he went on.

"Adrien seriously?"

"And you still look beautiful. Just making sure you are my lady." He smirked.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Marinette questioned.

"Will you let me call you my lady?" He asked.

"Adrien, I'm yours." Marinette jumped up and kissed him. It was a wonderful feeling. But the author couldn't describe it cause they are still single and lonely. So she will just base it on books she's read.

Marinette felt her heart flutter in excitement, as her arms wrapped around Adrien's neck. He kissed her back, though he was a little surprised at first. They both felt a feeling of belonging, like this was the right thing.

Marinette pulled away. "Sorry." She mumbled.

"Didn't know you were a good kisser." Adrien said with a blushing face. He bet down and pecked her lips with his own. "Thank you."

"I uh... y-you mom. I'm sure the brooch is fixed by now!" Marinette stuttered. They pulled away in embarrassment.

"You're right. Ahem." He walked back to his mom, as he detransformed. Slowly, he placed the brooch on his mother's jacket, while the kwami's watched eagerly.

Nothing happened.

Marinette sat down next to him. "Maybe it wasn't don't fixing itself- aaaaaha oh my goodness I swear it wasn't me!!!" Marinette fell over as the brooch lit up with light. Adrien looked as his mother, hopefully. The brooch continued to glow, and then it died out.

"What happened?" Plagg asked form the corner of the room. Adrien didn't respond. He was looking at his mothers hand. He had been holding it, but now her fingers curled around his.

"M-mom?" He asked. Her eyes were slowly opening, thought they looked almost sealed shut. "Mom!" He sprung over to her face and ran his fingers through her hair. "Mom you're alive!"

It took Emily a few more minutes to move any more. Her whole body was stiff, and most likely sore. She was able to squeeze Adrien's hand tightly, and slowly, was able to bring her arm up to meet Adrien's face. She touched him blindly, then fondly held his head.

"Mom," Adrien looked so happy it made Marinette's heart melt. Adrien vent down and hugged her. "You're ok!"

"Adrien..." Marinette was looking at his mom, who was looking back at her. "I don't think... I don't think she's gonna be the same... I don't know but-"

"I know." Adrien sighed as he pulled away from her. "Mom can you talk?"

The woman made a weird soft grunt. Then slowly shook her head.

"Can you sit up?" Adrien asked. The same response. Marinette had a feeling Emily wouldn't be able to walk ever again, and it would take years for her to form full sentences. Marinette had seen enough cases like this to know that. Emily Agreste was now what people could consider a vegetable. But Adrien was the most happiest son she'd ever seen.

———

It took a while, but eventually Marinette and Adrien were able to figure their relationship out. They were officially now a couple. The trial with Adrien's dad when well, and Mr. Agreste was released with a sky high fine, and would be put under house arrest for over a year.

Emily had an electronic wheelchair, which she was able to move with just her fingers. She could only say one word and one word only. And that was Adrien's name. She loved Marinette, adored her even. Often she some how found Marinette's sketch diary and the teenage girl would randomly find the woman looking through it.

Lila was sent to therapy. She of course over exaggerated what had happened which was why the officers thought she had been kidnapped. She made it seem like she was being used as a slave, but Marinette knew better.

Chloe and Violet decided to take turns with the miraculous. Chloe hates the idea of Violet being Wasp, but grew to accept it. The two began to get along, through many differences. Wasp was a very liked hero, often considered the saviors of LadyBug and Chat Noir for some reason. Guess the media assumed she had rescued them or something.

Marinette was sick of illusions. She didn't even remember what was the real stuff and which was the fake. She and Chat bonded together as a team, and became even stronger. With Hawkmoth gone, their job was a lot easier. They did miss the days of fighting such magical evil, but didn't have to for long.

Because a very particular some one would find a very special brooch in Adrien's bag. That some one would start a new uprising. And more powerful one. That person would be the next hawkmoth. And they sought revenge.

And Marinette would soon remember the importance of trust. And who she should trust, was now up to fate.

"You thought this would be over," said a dark feminine voice. She stood in a dark abandoned room in an abandoned building surrounded by white butterflies.
Her wings were finely tucked against her back, and her dress made her look formal. She wore an evil expression as she looked over Paris.

"It has only just begun." She continued. She stepped into the light. "The world shall forget Lila Rossi. For a new me has arrived! I am! Papille!"

A/n guess who sucks at ending a story? Meeeeeeee!
I just want to thank y'all for reading this. I know it was rough. Definitely not my best work. I had so many ideas for this story and I didn't know which to choose which is why it kept changing directions. I just kept changing my mind and it became... this...

Read the next part if you wanna know what the original ideas were:

This was originally just gonna be a Marichat fic, but that didn't really happen. I mean it did in the beginning but now.... it faded into Ladynoir I think lol.
Also my idea was to actually make Paris blow up. I was actually gonna kill everybody but Wasp, Ladybug, Chat Noir, Rena and Carapace. Just because I felt like it. But I decided that was too dark which was why I changed that whole battle concept into just an illusion.
Emily wasn't even gonna be a part of this even! Marinette was gonna learn to fly in the end but I scrapped that too. Then I was gonna have Alya die. Also to dark. My death I had planned for her was not the prettiest. (She was gonna get torn in half)
Then I was gonna kill Chloe. And then Pollen was gonna abandon Wasp but I decided that would take up to much of the story.
I couldn't decide how the reveal was gonna go for like... forever. I was tempted to just have Marinette nearly die by getting stabbed and having the reveal go like that. Then I scrapped that. But then I wanted to reference it again so I stabbed her.
Marichat was gonna be much heavier. Like it was gonna be the main thing until I brought up dark Cupid and then.... it spiraled out of control.
Then I wanted to pull an evil person move and have Lila succeed in taking the miraculouses, and have a heart breaking scene when the two got trapped in the tunnel thing where Adrien is trying to boost her confidence to fight. And marinette was just gonna have a mental breakdown. I kinda stuck with that one except they got to keep the miraculous.

Ah yes, the glories if being a writer. I never can decide on anything. Well guys that's the end of the story. Sorry I didn't include to many love scenes. Sorry it was like a trip to Alice in wonderland. Sorry it was weird.
Hope you enjoyed it nonetheless.
