A team of five begins its thrive

All LadyBug could focus on was the pain. It scuttled up her back like a centipede, sending shocks of affliction with each step it took. Her eyes were clamped shut, watery with tears. She made some sound, although she couldn't hear it due to the ringing in her ears. She heard something possible, but it was very drowned out and far away. It was a voice that didn't belong to her, and it sounded perturbed.

"-bug! LadyBug!" The voice was lucid now. He called her name, desperately, but she couldn't muster up a voice to respond with. She opened her eyes with blurry vision and felt her body get rolled over. She looked up at the sky, and all was quiet. She took the time to think, processing what was going around her in the soundless void of agony. For the first time in months, she wished death upon herself, to end this suffering.

The voice continued to shout her name. She drew to the conclusion that it indeed was her beloved Chat Noir, now purified of the Akuma's evil. She drew in a sharp inhale, which made her feel slightly better. Her mind was able to numb the pain, but it could only do so much.

"LadyBug please!" Chat Noir pleaded desperately in fret. He held her in his arms, but her eyes took no notice of him. She stared blankly into the sun with burning pain, both within her body and in his heart. He shook her gently, but with unease. "LadyBug I'm so sorry!" He began to sob. "Th-the Miraculous was supposed to protect us... Just please wake up! Answer me!" He hugged her to his chest, her neck bobbing loosely supporting her head.

Meanwhile, Master Fu himself watched from afar in his disguise. His heart was pounding in his aged chest, and he was fearful of what would happen. A sudden realization churning over him, and he instantly found his car to get home. He had no idea what he was doing, or that this was the wrong decision, but he only had one shot, one thought, and this was it.

He parked haphazardly at the front of his house and raced himself inside. "Master!" His kwami came from his pocket. "This is not the right idea! You must think of something else!" Wayzz advised.

"I know Wayzz, but there could be serious consequences if we wait too long." He replied anxiously and strutted across the room to where the miracle box rested, in the illusion of a musical box. He opened the box despite his Kwami's many protests. The Chinese case opened at his command and revealed several neatly placed magical jewels.

"We are already missing the Butterfly and Peacock miraculous! Master Fu this has gone too far!" Wayzz said angrily, eyes sealing themselves at his master.

"I will do what I will do. This is my decision Wayzz." He retaliated and picked up a delicate necklace which held a beautiful orange and white symbol of a foxtail at the base. "I will send out the miraculous of the fox, and illusion. And you aswell Wayzz."

"Me?! But I need to stay with you, Master!" Wayzz exclaimed.

"I'm sorry this is so sudden. But you must go. I have been observing the citizens of Paris, and the boy that hangs out with the identity of Chat Noir fits you perfectly. He is destined to be a powerful protector. Wayzz, you must take the miraculous of the Turtle and indemnity to Nino Lahiffe." Master Fu instructed as he took off his bracelet that clung to his wrist. "And the Miraculous of Rena Rouge as well, her name is Alya Cesaire. I trust you to deliver them safely." He sighed and handed the jewels to the small Green Kwami.

"I understand. But why do you hold the Bee Miraculous?" Wayzz eyeballed the yellow and black striped barret his Master had picked up. Master Fu looked down to see it.

"Yes, I am not sure. I noticed a girl the other day that fit this miraculous perfectly. But I will have to deliver it myself." He looked down solemnly. "Until we meet again Wayzz, I will greatly miss you."

"You mean they will be keeping them?!" Wayzz said in uttermost shock.

"Yes. The LadyBug I chose is in grave danger, and we do not have much time before the consequences unfold upon her." He looked up in agony. "Farewell, my friend."

Wayzz nodded and flew out the window. The fear of what lay ahead was engraved into their minds.

------

"LadyBug..." Tear flowed softly down Chat Noir's cheeks, his eyes here puffy, and his cheeks flushed.

"I-" She choked up but it sounded like she didn't have a voice.

"Oh My gosh! LadyBug!" He smiled. "Please speak to me! Anything!"

"Y-your b-b-b-back." She stammered. She mustered up the strength to lift her head to see him properly. His cheeks were stained from his tears, and he was shaking. He instantly hugged her closely, desperately, for he couldn't believe his luck of her survival.

"Yeah. I'm back." He squeezed her. "J-just... I-I'm so sorry about y-your wing. I-I... It's all my fault." He pulled away abruptly.

"What are you saying?" She slowly looked down at her right-wing which was still numb. Her eyes widened in terror, but she stood completely still. She felt every nerve in her system do a summersault at once, and she felt her world itself turn in on her with shotguns and fire.

It was black. Almost completely. She couldn't feel it anymore, it was like it never existed. She tried to move it, but it lay limply on the cement. She got frantic, her breathing escalated, her heartbeat accelerated, and all she wanted to do was cry. She threw her wings out in frustration, but only the left one responded.

"I must have used cataclysm on it during the way down." Chat Noir placed a hand upon her shoulder to calm her. LadyBug burst into tears.

"How am I supposed to fly now!?" She cried in outburst.

"Maybe your miraculous LadyBug will fix it?" He cooed, rubbing circles on her back.

"Perhaps..." She looked solemn. "But how will we stop Dark Cupid in the meanwhile?" She asked, rubbing her eyes to stop the floodgates of her weeping.

"I don't know. He's an excellent flyer, better than you or me." Chat picked LadyBug up and rose to his feet. She clambered out of his arms and stood weekly on the ground. Her wing was laying on the ground, paralyzed.

"We'll need help..." She said softly, as she scooped up her wing in her underarm, to prevent it from trailing in the filth.

"Hey, LadyBug! Need a hand?!" Came the sound of a very happy person behind them.

"Rena Rouge?" Chat raised an eyebrow from beneath his mask, looking over LadyBug's shoulder. LadyBug turned around slowly, with a bombshell expression.

"But I... I didn't give it back..." She looked confused, examining the fox heroine in Seville orange and eagle wings.

"Someone else did... well, a kwami at least..." Rena rubbed her neck skittishly.

"Who's kwami?! Was it a turtle?" LadyBug questioned to assure this was no trap.

"He said his name was Wayzz, and yes, he was a turtle." She shrugged. LadyBug let out a sigh of relief.

"This is perfect timing!" Chat outbursted. "We need some help."

"Well actually, you're getting more than just me. The others must not be here yet." Rena explained.

"Wait, there are others?" Chat asked with astonishment.

"That's what the turtle thing said. But who-"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Some one screamed from above, inturupting Rena. They looked to the sky just as a dark emerald green boy crashed inside their triangle. The three jumped back in surprise.

"And that is probably a turtle boy," Rena said holding back a laugh. "Need some help their buddy?" She bent over with an outstretched hand for him to take. He looked up in surprise, locking eyes with Rena. His dark skin was blushing hard, and he rubbed his head in pain and embarrassment.

"I-I-I-I'm s-sorry." He took her hand and got up. "I just barely escaped um... Dark Cupid... I don't know how to use my powers and..., man! My wings are really strong!" He said with extreme exhalation.

"That means the Akuma is close." LadyBug said, masking her fear with false bravery bestowed on her shield of words.

"Anything else we should know?" Chat asked, his head swiveling left and right, prepared for any attack.

"Yeah... how do I even say this? Um..." The green suited boy looked at his knees. "Dudes, Chloe Bourgois stole a miraculous."

"What the f-"

"Ah ah ah M'lady." Chat put a hand on LadyBug's mouth. She furrowed her eyebrows and swatted it away.

"Ok so... WHAT!?" LadyBUg dropped her wing and it clashed against the cement. She didn't feel or notice it, however, for she had no feeling within it. She stepped forward with her arms crossed.

"Don't step on your wing." Chat picked it up for her. LadyBug looked embarrassed, either by his affection and caring thoughts or by the fact she dropped in the first place.

"W-whatever. How did she get it?" LadyBug took her wing from Chat.

"Well, on my way over... I was kinda messing up real bad. I fell into a um.. garbage can. Anyways, this dudette with bat wings was walking by, and hid in the same alley I was in. I didn't want to scare her so I stayed in the trash can. Um.. she had the Bee Miraculous I think because it was a yellow and black kwami that flew out of her jacket. She looked excited, but Chloe saw her." The boy began to explain.

"Uh-huh?" LadyBug edged him on.

"Chloe saw the barret in her Vio- I mean, the girl's hair and wanted it. When the girl refused, Chloe got mad and took it anyways and ran off. She was a faster flier since the Bourgois are all Spur-winged Gooses. So um... be forwarned."

"We have to get it back. But we don't have time right now." LadyBug bit her lip.

"What should we call you?" Rena asked.

"Um... Carapace. Call me Carapace." He replied.

"Cool name. At least I'm not the only guy now." Chat patted Carapace's back.

"Yeah bro, I've always wanted to do this." Carapace said excitedly.

"Ok enough! Let's fight this bad guy!" Rena put her hand down in the center of their circle they'd made. The others joined in.

"Win?" LadyBug offered.

"WIN!" They said in unison, throwing their hands in the air. All the while a certain someone who called themselves Queen Bee, stood in the shadows.

Watching.
