"I bet that, if I run and jump at Aizawa, he'll catch me!" I say, laughing. I was standing at my desk with Kaminari, Kirishima and Izuku.

"Is that such a good idea-" Izuku starts.

"Ten bucks," Kirishima says. I nod, grinning. Once I see Aizawa entering the room, I shout "COMING IN!!" and run towards him.

"Wait wait I'm holding coffe-" he shouts, then stops as I jump at him. He drops his coffee and grabs me before I hit the ground, holding me bridal style.

"YOU OWE ME TEN BUCKS, KIRISHIMA!!" I shout in victory. Aizawa then drops me, making me land painfully on the floor. I laugh loudly and he tries to hide it, but I see him smiling.

"I expect you to clean that up, Erin," he says, pointing to the spilled coffee.

"Sure thing," I say, still smiling.

Aizawa announces that today we'll be doing free studying/training, since the sports festival was tomorrow, so I go with Kaminari to the training fields while the other two go to the library to study. It had become a sort of competition with eachother to prove which type of electicity was better.

"Come on, hit me!" I taunt, zapping out of reach whenever he came too close.

"If you'll stop moving then I will!" he shouts back, grinning. I would never admit it, but I was really enjoying these fights of ours.

"Gotta be faster than that, idiot!" I yell, jumping out of reach and tossing a disc of electricity towards him. He tries to block with his arm but as soon as the lightning touches him, he gets a full body shock.

"Hey, no fair!" he shouts when he's recovered. I laugh. Turning to electricity and playing with him, appearing within reach and then disappearing when he tries to hit me. I accidentally get in Bakugou's way and he grabs me, creating a large explosion before I can disappear again. The fights around us quickly turn into a free-for-all and in the chaos, I zap to the side and watch in amusement as Kaminari tries to find me again.

His eyes finally land on me and he runs towards me, his palms sparking with electricity. I give him a lopsided smile and, just as he's about to zap me, I zap to the side, just out of reach.

"Alright I'm tired. Wanna go study?" I say, my arms crossed.

"Fiiiiiine!" he moans. I had kept track of how much electricity he used to fight me and he was at his limit, but I knew he wouldn't want to be the one to end the fight and appear weak. We enter the building and I suddenly realise how much dust and dirt clung to us.

"We gotta go clean up first. I'll meet you there," I say, heading towards the locker rooms. He watches me leave with his hands in his pockets, a half-smile present on his face. I didn't understand the look he was giving me. In fact, a lot of people were giving me that look recently. I hadn't noticed at first, but it was becoming more and more obvious. In my overactive, hormone-driven mind, I thought it meant they all liked me romantically.

'Nah, no way. Stop thinking like that, idiot,' I tell myself, smiling. I reach the lockers and undress, placing my dirty gym uniform in my locker and taking out my normal one. Before I dress myself again, I comb out as much of the dirt as I can. There was less than I saw on Kaminari because I never got hit apart from Bakugou, but all the dust from the free-for-all had stuck to me.

It was only after I finish that I notice one of Mineta's hair-balls sticking out from a corner, and heard the loud, perverted pants that came from it. Still dressed in only underwear, I narrow my eyes and walk towards him, electricity sparking around my body.

I zap around behind him, making him scream in fear and surprise. He was holding a camera, so I snatch it away from him and kick him out - literally. I grabbed the back of his shirt and carried him to the door, opening it, tossing him into the air, and kicking him with as much force as I can muster. Kaminari was already outside and his jaw drops open when he sees me.

"Say anything and I'll kill you!" I shout, slamming the door and frying the camera. I crush the charred remnants in my hand, ashes flitting to the floor, and finish changing. When I walk outside again, Kaminari was nowhere to be seen.

'Idiot boys.'

I walk the rest of the way to the library alone. When I arrive, Kaminari is still missing. Then he walks in behind me and wraps an arm around my waist, dragging me behind some shelves away from everyone else.

"KAMINARI I SWEAR TO-" I start, then get silenced as he clamps a hand over my mouth.

"Mineta had these. You're welcome," he says, handing me a few Polaroids. They were pictures of me in my underwear and, as soon as I have them all, I rip them to shreds.

"You could've just given them to me without dragging me away," I say brushing the shreds into a conveniently placed bin.

"I also wanted to talk to you about something," he says, and I suddenly realise he was being bashful. My eyes narrow.

"Yeah?"

"Uhmm... Are you and Midoriya... together?" he asks, averting his eyes and rubbing the back of his head. I shove him away from me, disgusted. Of course it had to be that question. Not "What's your opinion on your new Quirk?" or "Do you enjoy being at UA?" It's always about my love life.

"We are. Now leave me alone." I growl. He nods sadly, walking away, and I wonder if I was a bit too harsh with him. I leave the library after a few minutes of sitting silently against the wall, heading up to the roof to stare at the sky instead of rows of books. I missed it, more than anyone knew. When I reach the top of the stairs, I realise someone else was sitting there.

"Hi... Um... Do you mind if I sit here too...?" I ask shyly, looking at the ground. The boy nods and moves over to make room for me. We sit together in silence for a few minutes before he speaks again.

"Do you come here often?" he asks.

"Ah, no. Not really." I respond.

"I used to come up here to watch someone flying around, but they haven't shown up recently. I've been wondering where they went..." he says, his face strangely sad. My eyes widen.

"Did they kind of look like a bird? A humanoid bird?" I ask. He turns his face to look at me properly.

"Yeah... How did you know?"

"That was me!"

"Really?"

"Yeah!"

"Prove it, then."

My smile disappears.

"I... I can't."

"Why not?"

"My Quirk was stolen from me and replaced by something else. I can't fly any more," I say. He considers my answer for a few seconds before nodding.

"So you're that student everyone in the general studies class has been talking about. Nice to meet you, Erin," he says, sticking out his hand for me to shake.

"You too," I say, shaking his hand, "It's not every day you get to meet someone who watches you... that sounds weird. Sorry."

He laughs and I give a gentle smile. He says he was always coming up to the roof so he could see me, and to actually meet me was a great privilege.

"Eh, not really. I'm a lot less impressive in person," I say, embarrassed. He smiles and says his name is Shinsou. I smile, then hear the bell ringing. I say goodbye and he wishes me luck in the sports festival tomorrow, saying he hopes we'll be pitted against eachother.

"Ah, I forgot that was tomorrow. Thanks for reminding me, I'll see you tomorrow!" I say, shouldering my bag and running down the stairs. I smile, wondering why I'm running when I can zap to the gate. I appear next to Izuku, who almost jumps out of his skin.

"I feel like you're enjoying your new Quirk now," he says as we start walking. I laugh and lightly punch his arm. He smiles, wrapping his hand around mine. Suddenly, I feel someone watching us.

"Wait a moment, I'll be right back," I say, then zap to where I felt the person staring from. I land behing Kirishima, making him jump a metre into the air.

"Why are you staring at us?" I ask. He seems surprised he got caught and averts his eyes nervously.

"I'm sorry, I was just a bit surprised. I didn't know you and Midoriya were dating?" he says, finally making eye contact with me. I sigh heavily, zapping back to Izuku.

"I'm gonna go home ahead of you. Are you okay with that? It's been a really long day," I say tiredly. He stares at me for a few seconds before leaning in and kissing my cheek, then nodding.

"Make sure you sleep lots tonight." he tells me. I smile gently.

"Since when did you become my mother?" I ask. He laughs and doesn't reply, so I zap home.
