The truth about the future

The group ( with the exception of Dipper) was trapped in a large blue bubble like prison, with several guards situated on the outside. Outside the bubble they where in a blue and white square marble room that was lit up with dim square like lights on the ceiling. Mabel was furiously banging on the bubble, it felt like smooth glass but as hard as steel. Ford and Stan rushed to her and grabbed hold of her arms. Ford was the first to speak.

"Mabel, calm down we have to put our heads together and-"

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN! MY BROTHER I-I-is dead..." as Mabel stopped struggling Ford and Stan let go, she sank on her knees a thousand thoughts past her mind. Namely things like going to school together, taking their first steps together, making jokes and laughing together, they did everything together. At least they used to... her train of thought went a screeching halt when Great Uncle Ford said five words.

"Mabel- your brother is still alive."

"W-what?!"  Ford nodded his head. "he was still breathing when we last saw him, that means that they probably just rendered him unconscious..." Mabel interrupted " well lets go get him then, Come on we don't have all day!" Philip shook his head " I would agree, we need to save Dipper not only is he just a boy- he is also the last of his kind however we don't even know where we are-" Mabel grinned " that's where you're wrong, I happen to know exactly where we are." Grunkle Stan raised his brow "all right kid where are we?"

Mabel's grin widen "Not where but when."

The three older men glanced at each other nervously, thinking that while they weren't looking Mabel must of bummed her head onto something. Ford was the first to speak "Mabel... are you suggesting that we are stuck in the future?" She nodded her head. Before they could continue on the conversation. A cry of pure agony broke out. Even though nothing moved they all felt the cry rattle their insides from the pure emotions and pain behind it, it even seemed to have even affected the guards. Grunkle Stan was the first to recover.

"what. The hell. Was that."

To say that Dipper was shocked was the understatement of the century. First he grew wings, then he found out that he couldn't be even classified as the same species as his twin sister, and now he's tied up on a freak'en experiment table! As one of the apparent scientists, a Hispanic women in her late thirty's or early forties with thick square shaped glasses, dark brown hair tied up in a tight pony tail, she also wore a white lab coat approached. He tried to muster as much courage as he could and tried to look fearless to ask the following question, though he failed miserably "wh-what are you going to do to me?"

Silence...

She looked at his eyes, the light's reflection on her glasses blocked her eyes from him, giving her a cold emotionless look with a edge of mystery, as she hooked him up to a strange machine that rapped up around his head, the wires went to another strange machine on her right forearm. Dipper gulped, what very little of his brave bravo he had vanished. A million questions flooded his mind,

What were they going to do to him? What did- oh crap where was everyone else?! Were they safe? Was... was he going to die in here?! Was he going to end up growing up in this laboratory reduced shameful, insane, wasted old man with not a inch of humanity left or to become a remains of fluids and chunks of flesh to further experiment? Dipper was hyperventilating now, his body was shaking.

The woman that was with him again looked at him, except this time Dipper could see her eyes they where a deep chocolate brown that radiated with concern and warmth her brows furrowed with concern. She said " wow kid, are you ok? Because you need calm down, I'm... the team and I are not going to do anything of a prejudice nature to you." Dipper looked at her with disbelief, if the situation wasn't so serious he would of been laughing his head off. Then rage and anger took over his thoughts-

How dare she say that, how could she say that? First they attacked him and his family (also Philip), then they kidnapped him and for all he knows every one else could be trapped here too. Before hand to do so they drugged him unconscious, and lastly he woke up on a freak'en experiment table! And even creeper, by the looks was made just for him! Because they fitted him, right. Down. To. The. Wings! And this woman had the gall to ask him if he was ok?!

No. Not in any definition was he okay.

In fact, he was having by far, the worst day of his life. And concentering what he as been through, that was really saying something.

He's been possessed by a dream demon.

He had a denture cretin monster (or otherwise known as the shape-shifter) try to kill him and every one that he was with, and its dyeing form was him, Dipper screaming silently in agony before hand telling him that he was doomed to die.

He and his family has been chased down by the U.S.A. government, and (namely his Grunkle Stan) was accused of trying to destroyed the world.

And today topped all of it.

His new found bravery now fueled by his anger, fanned by his fear and ignited by his concern allowed him to repeat the earlier question.

"what do you want from me?" he seethed she stared at him for a while, and sighed then looked away as if remembering something a, like bittersweet memory. She smiled softly for a moment then frowned turned back at him "as you can see this time, you future and my present is chaotic. Seventy five years ago from now everything was dyeing, all of life was slowly getting sicker and sicker... from what? We still don't know some say that it was from the pollution and all of the contamination, others say that it was a airborne virus, some going as far and despite to conclude that it was some alien's blame- whether any of this was true, I don't know"

She paused and took a deep breath "however one thing remains a fact, the Kidèmonnas where uninfected, and the scientists at the time discovered that- if you put just enough of their DNA inside a normal human, or any life-form they still remain the same, except for what ever was making everyone sick stopped when a life-form inhabitants and excepts the DNA, of course it could have been a total convenience."

She stares at her feet " apparently what ever it was came back  more people are dyeing again. The amount we put into everyone and everything is no longer pure Kidèmonnas DNA, and less people are being naturally born with the amount of the DNA needed to survive"

Dipper stared at her agape, and horrified. This was the future. This is what Mabel and his possible  great, great, great- whatever grandkids where expected to go through? "That's terrible. And I'm so sorry, but how am I suppose to help? I mean I want to help and I now know that you need my DNA but why me? You could of had time traveled to any time and place where a Kidèmonnas was a pure breed, or somehow gave a better chance of their DNA helping more then mine's could, so aside from the DNA how else do I fit in this?"

She widen her eyes in amusement and surprise, "very smart of you to ask that, the reason for that is because a month or so ago you and your sister was brought here for the Glodnar challenge, correct?" Dipper slightly confused in the change of subject, nodded his head. She continued "you and your sister were contaminated-realizing our folly the government later sent our time travelers to solve the problem by bringing you back and give you and your sister the antidote-the Kidèmonnas DNA. However, nether of you two showed any symptoms or any remote sign of the illness, even though our radars said that the both of you should of had been experiencing otherwise."

"Later we realized that your sister possesses some-about half in fact of Kidèmonnas DNA, and that you are a Kidèmonnas. Even when nether of your parents, grandparents, and even great grandparents had no traces of the DNA in themselves. Whatever is caused the illness, odds are if it is some sort of virus or bacteria your immune system would already be immune to it. Therefore-"

Dipper finished her sentence, eyes wide in realization"-therefore giving everyone and everything that accepts my DNA a better fighting chance." She nodded her head. "Anything else you need to ask me?" She asked gently while pressing a blue button behind her on the counter. Dipper nodded his head "two questions actually, what's your name?" She smiled "my name is Lucy Adelajda" Dipper gulped as sweat appeared on his forehead "and will I get out of here when this is done? Alive?"

Lucy's eyes gave a somber twinkle to them as he said this, she knows that she has done little if not nothing to gain his trust in any form but it was still lugubrious to hear him, a mere child to say that and have a justified reason to. She nodded her head "when we are done you, your family and friend will be free to go, if they have received the antidote by then. In the mean time, all we need to do is take a blood sample and some hair." About five men and woman came in with lab coats, it kind of looked like to Dipper when he would normally go and get his blood drawn in a normal hospital.

But they all just stood there, as if waiting for something to happen, like if Dipper was supposed to do back flips and die afterwards.

Dipper cocked his head "what?"

A man that looked to be about in his late fifty's or early sixties, he had blonde hair and blue eyes he took a step towards Dipper the man's voice was deep and shaky he also had a Texas accent "we ain't gonna do anything until the next Kidèmonnas stage is complete."

Dipper's brows furrowed "next stage? Wha-"

Suddenly pain coursed through him as he stiffened his body. Dipper screamed bloody murder. Then felt everything...

Just-

Fade-

Away.
