THEORY: Book 10 Plothole

Prepare your minds for this one, boys.

Okay.

You know how Kinkajou defeated Darkstalker by enchanting a strawberry he ate using a scrap of his own scroll she stole from Chameleon?

Well...

Peril destroyed his scroll, making all of his animus magic return to him immediately, right?

ALL. Even the pieces of magic that were in the scraps?

So, realistically, Kinkajou's spell wouldn't work because the scrap she used should have been useless.

I told my friends this and one of them argue that since Chameleon tore it off, the animus magic should have been contained. But I have another theory to counterattack that one.

If the parchment was torn off, how did the little piece of parchments still have animus magic? Darkstalker put his magic into the scroll, so because that parchment got separated, either

1. a tiny bit of his magic should have returned to him,

2. the scroll should have lost all the magic because it got damaged, or

3. the scrap should have become useless because it was separated from the rest of the scroll.

I have a counter idea that actually works:

"I enchant this stick so the second I break it, every dragon in Pyrrhia will not be able to see, hear, feel or even remember Darkstalker for the rest of eternity, every dragon in Pyrrhia is completely immune to Darkstalker's spells whether present or future, and no dragon in the realm can be harmed or enchanted by Darkstalker." SNAP.

Boom. Easy!

Then Darkstalker will be like poking everyone like "guys? can't you see or hear me? I am literally gigantic, wow you guys must be near blind. *turns towards NightWings* HELLO? YOUR KING IS GIVING YOU AN ORDER. PAY ATTENTION TO ME!" for the rest of his immortal life and it's hilarious.

Thoughts?
