Symbols and memories (Continued)

FOX LADY:     If you stay, a lot of humans will die in my hands to protect you. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Wallstreet shakes his head. CAPTAIN LEE, 45, the captain of the boat, comes. We can feel his nervousness as he wrings his hands and respectfully approaches Fox Lady. They talk in Mandarin.

FOX LADY:     [Captain Lee, you know what to do.]

CAPTAIN LEE:     [Yes, lady. I will take the young man to Hong Kong and he will have a place to stay and a decent job in my cousin's photo studio.]

FOX LADY:     [Very well. Now I'm fulfilling my end of the bargain.]

She extends her empty hand, the scroll appears, and she gives it to Captain Lee. Wallstreet gapes in astonishment.

CAPTAIN LEE:     (bows)   [You are very generous, lady. Thank you.]

FOX LADY:     [Captain Lee, you will take good care of my friend. No one must know where he is going. If he is harmed, I am harmed. I will not forgive. Do you understand?]

CAPTAIN LEE:     [I know who you are, lady. I understand.]

The captain backs away, all smiles, bowing to the Fox Lady again and again. Wallstreet strides in front of Fox Lady, confrontational.

WALLSTREET:     [No! You can't do that.]

FOX LADY:     The deal has been consummated.
