It had been decided that Akainu Sakazuki and Aokiji Kuzan would fight. The one who bested the other would be the one who would be worthy of the title Fleet Admiral. This decision had helped stop most of the infighting, there'd been a huge fight between Dalmatian and Strawberry that had resulted in a warships destruction. After that any infighting regarding the Fleet Admiral position would result in a reprimand and a deduction in pay.

You were sparring with Koby in the evening there were only a few people left who wanted to spend a little more time training. Helmeppo was officiating your match. Lately you'd feel strange while sparring. Your head would hurt, and your arms would tingle before any strikes would happen. It only happened every once in a while so you didn't think too much of it. But it only happened while you were fighting, like tonight, Koby was charging you, before he threw the punch you swore you felt his left fist come at you before he actually went through with it. As he threw it, you kicked his shin and threw him beyond the ring.

You gasped, you'd won. Out of the 85 spars you two had done this was your first win. You just stood there your mouth agape and shocked clearly evident on your face.

"HOLY CRAP Y/N!!! You won!!!!" There was a round of applause from the others in the area, you ran to Koby to make sure he was okay.

"Captain are you alright?" You always made sure to call him by his title when you two weren't alone.

"Hehehe I am great Y/N-San!! How did you know I would use my left hand first?"

"Uh well..."

The door sprang open and made a loud noise. Vice Admiral Smoker was standing there his frown ever present on his handsome face.

"Dr. L/N, your presence is requested at the main HQ building. Please come with me."

"Sir yessir." You gave Koby a look and quickly grabbed your sweater and followed Smoker out.

They weren't able to finish their conversation about the match. Something they did to help each other out I finding new weaknesses to overcome. But the way she threw him out of the ring, it was observation haki, he was sure of it. She was slowly awakening it through her many sessions with Grount and himself it was bound to happen. He was surprised that it'd taken almost a year.

"What do you think that was about Koby?" Helmeppo walked over to him. "You don't think they figured out you two are dating do you?" He said this more quietly to ale sure no one else heard.

At that Koby shook his head. He and you had been extremely careful when you were around one another and when you two would meet up. The two of you hadn't been on a real date yet, and  it made him sad that the two of you couldn't be more open with your feelings around people. But it was a sacrifice you both had agreed to, thinking it would be safer for only your closest friends to know that information. Especially when people like Akainu who would find a way to use it against you both.

"They would've called for both of us if that were the case. It seems like something important, and she is one of the 16 Major General medics that we have in the entire marines. Maybe it's something for medics only."

"Haaa dammit I wanted to spar with her next. Oh well. What do you say you and me have a go?"

"Hehehe sure thing." He would sneak to the infirmary later to ask about it later. He just hoped it wasn't anything too serious.

You didn't want to ask why you were being summoned. You would find out once you were there. Plus you didn't think Smoker would lead you somewhere dangerous without a warning at least.

"How are you doing Dr?" That was another thing you observed with the man. He always addressed you with the outmost respect of your position.

"I'm doing just fine sir. No more disrespectful jerks anymore thanks to you." He smirked at that and then ruffled your hair causing it to become even messier. You'd come to enjoy the motion from him, it was a brotherly form of affection that you hadn't realized you missed.

"That's good to hear. How are your sparring sessions going?"

"I lose every time. Well except for just now. Today was the first time of 85 spars with Captain Koby that I actually won, I still haven't beaten Grount yet."

"Haha that boy could stand to be humbled every now and again. I'm glad you're fitting in well with Garp's crew."

"Me too." It was the truth. Without that crazy, strange, caring old man you never would've begun to try to believe in yourself. And you wouldn't had made friends or found the man you loved either.

I should buy the old bastard a drink later.

When you arrived to your destination you were announced and asked to come in. You weren't the only one who'd been summoned. Admirals Aokiji, Sakazuki and Kizaru were there. Along with Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Vice Admiral Garp, Vice Admiral Tsuru, Rear Admrial Hina, And Vice Admiral Momonga. You went to one of the two empty seas. You were about to apologize for being tardy when Fleet Admiral got right to business.

"Now that we're all here it's time to tell you all why you've been summoned. This is the people we are taking to officiate the match between Admirals Aokiji and Akainu. Everyone here is either in support of one candidate or completely neutral. Dr.L/N is obvious because of her medical background she will be the one who is to be in charge of the medical staff. Worse case scenario she is the one to pronounce the death of one of the men, or when one is incapable of continuing. The problem we're having is where to have to match take place. Both of you can be rather destructive." Both men scoffed at this.

"What about one of Vegapunks old islands he no longer uses? No one lives on those." Vice Admiral Tsuru chipped. You raise a hand. "Yes young lady."

"I think you should assign a different doctor." All eyes were on you now.

"Not up to it Ghouley?" Admiral Kizaru quipped.

"If I'm being honest sir, no. I have no haki capabilities. I wouldn't be able to approach either man to assess their wounds should their devil fruits remain semi-active after the fight is over."

"We considered that L/N, you may not know this but only three medics have armament haki and they failed the tests we put them through. They weren't neutral enough to be considered. Worst case scenario you'll be place with someone who is." Tsuru said. You nodded your head.

"I see, thank you for hearing my concerns ma'am." She just stared at you, before turning to Garp.

"Thank heavens this child hasn't picked up any weird habits form you Garp."

"HEY my ships crew isn't weird!"

You kept quiet on that one.

"Ahem quiet you two. We will reconvene in a weeks time when the logistics have been finalized. Until then do not tell anyone you are apart of this team. We were here to discuss the uses of medicinal herbs along with pharmaceutical drugs." That had your head perking up. Sengoku smiled at you. "We're all a little clueless when it comes to those, so do you mind giving us a basic overview? At least then we'll all say the same thing."

You went into a brief summary of why you used herbs as opposed to certain medicines. The only ones who weren't all that interested were the Admirals.

"Would these herbs be useful in surgeries?" Hina asked.

"No medicinal herbs can't replace antibiotics or anything like that. But for basic ailments they work great. It's what I tend to do on Vice Amdiral Garp's ship."

"She makes great tea for stress and sleep deprivation." Garp commented.

"Hmmm, this would actually be a good thing to research more." Momonga spoke while having his hand on his chin. "How did you come about this knowledge? If you don't mind my asking."

You did very much so mind, but you couldn't say's that. They'd want to know why and that would lead to a whole other story that wasn't anyones business but your own.

"The island I lived on before joining didn't have a hospital, or a doctor really. There was an apothecary though. She helped keep everyone on the island safe and healthy. On the occasion that someone was seriously injured, she was the one everyone would go to since she'd been a nurse before moving to our island. I wanted to be able to take care of myself and asked her to teach me the basics of herbs, she instructed me for a year. After that I enlisted to the Marines medical unit. And you all know the rest."

"I see thank you for sharing that." You nodded your forehead and became silent again.

"We've spent enough time here. Dr. I would like to have a report given about the pros and cons of using medicinal herbs. In the next few days if you could. We'll be departing as soon as we decide on a location. You're all dismissed."

Before you could leave you felt a tug on your shoulder. It was Rear Admiral Hina. She looked irritated, and if had to guess it was about the day you left her standing in the street alone.

"Can I help you ma'am?"

"Hina would like an apology for what you did that day."

"I'm sorry ma'am." You bowed and went to walk away. She followed you.

"Hina doesn't believe you."

"With all due respect ma'am that isn't my fault. I am sorry for leaving you in the middle of the street, but I am not sorry for anything I said. If you cannot accept my apology for what it is, then I'm afraid there isn't much more to say. Please excuse me." You bowed and this time you made it out the door. Speed walking until you arrived outside.

When you reached outside, you all but ran to the ship, you wanted to see Koby and you wanted to tell him about everything. Even though you couldn't.

As you were running you saw something, a store. It sold just what you needed, it would keep you two in the loop with each other without being caught.

"That's perfect." You walked in made your purchase then continued to walk back a small smirk playing on your face.

——One week later——

"Grount is out Y/N wins!!!" Koby happily announced. Grount had been on assignment when you'd thrown Koby out of the ring. He wanted to spar with you the second he'd heard.

You were still a lot physically weaker than him, but you used your medical education against him and focused on a human body's weakest points. Which paid off.

"What the hell...why is my arm numb?"

"Ah one second." You hit a few acupuncture points below where you'd struck him. "Better?"

"Cheater." He pouted. Which caused a slight chuckle to leave your mouth. "Heard you were in on a big meeting with Aokiji-San and other big shots. What was that about?"

"Medical stuff. Mostly about the herbs I use. They were curious that's all."

"Hmmm." The look on his face said he didn't believe you but didn't press you anymore. His sudden laugh drew your attention again. "Jealous  Koby is funny."

You turned to look at your boyfriend and sweat dropped. He had a frown on his face and his shoulders were tense. Grount took this opportunity to throw an arm around you.

"I love that you two are dating secretly, it makes everything so much more fun." You scowled and gave Grount a good fist to his gut.

"Attention Major General Dr L/N. You are required to report to HQ official Kong in the next hour. Please take overnight bags as you will not be back for a month."

So I guess it's time for me to go.

You heard a lot of whispers and Koby looked at you wide-eyed. You nodded your head, a sign that you and Koby had come up with to meet you in the infirmary.

He waited another 10 minutes before coming in.

"Y/N why are you being called away?" He sounded worried.

"Calm down. Look I couldn't tell you before but now that I'm leaving, I can tell you. When I was called by Smoker a week ago, it was to discuss the battle for the Fleet Admiral. I was chosen to be the Head Doctor on the scene. That's where I'm going."

"But you, you don't have haki...not yet anyway." He said something at the end that you couldn't hear.

"I know I voiced that concern about that too, but they said I was the only medic who was neutral to both men."

Koby still had a frown, his shoulders were tense and his fists were clenched. He didn't want to tell you not to go. You knew that, he was caught in between seeing you as a doctor and soldier of the Marines and his girlfriend. You figured it was time to what you bought on your way back to the ship a week ago.

"Koby close your eyes and hold out your hands." He was bewildered at first but quickly complied a stressful sigh escaping his mouth.

You put in his hand one of the two den den mushi you'd purchased. Since they weren't made by the Marines there lines were protected and wouldn't be listened to.

"Okay open them." He did and his eyes went wide. "This way we can talk to each other priva...hump."

Koby encompassed you in a tight embrace. After your breath returned to your lungs, you returned the gesture and took in his scent. Masculine and sweet.

"This means a lot to me Y/N. Thank you...I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner."

"I know you're worried but Koby I am a Dr. first, soldier second and then your girlfriend. And I know you feel the same way. It's the main reason we're keeping everything a secret. That doesn't mean I want to forget your feelings and how certain things may make you nervous about our job. It's the same for me. I know you love and care for me, but you have things you want to achieve. I thought that getting these would help us. I'm not making any sense." You were rambling.

"I'll miss you too Y/N." You lifted your chin up and smiled. He moved a stray strand of hair from your face before placing a slow, kind passionate kiss on your lips. The kiss lasted about two minutes and then you two were out of breath. "I'll help you pack. You gotta be there in a half hour. I'll get you there fast too."

He packed your medical bag, he'd come to have a basic knowledge of your medical herbs and knew which ones you liked to pack. You packed your clothes quickly along with your shampoos and soaps.

"Let's go Y/N." He held out a hand and kept your hand in his until you started to run into people. When you got to the platform leading to the dock, he crouched down.

"Uh Captain what are you doing?"

"Hehe hop on, this way you won't be late." You huffed out of embarrassment, you hadn't had a piggy back ride in years. But you knew if you were late it'd be a reprimand at least. You reluctantly leaned on him, he grabbed your thighs and without warning used his soru to jump and move at least 300 yards per jump.

"Aaahh Koby!!!!" You gripped his tighter with your legs and arms you felt his chuckle more than hear it. You were too terrified to open your eyes. When you felt the descent happening you tried your hardest not to scream as your stomach moved to your throat. "Eeeeeek!!!" You tried.

He stopped about four blocks away when your feet touched the ground again they felt like noodles.

"Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again." You huffed. He laughed. You stood to full height. He grabbed your cheeks and kissed you again. Before he could move away, you pulled on his collar and brought him down to your level, you didn't kiss him instead you moved to the side of his head and bit his ear.

"Waah!!" He yelped in surprise you smiled and began your walk.

"Thank you Captain. I'll see myself to the office." You walked a little further away, "I'll call you when I know where I'm going. I'll be back soon."

Koby watch you walk off, he was really going to miss you. He wanted to tease you a little bit before you left. He was also worried. He knew now that you could handle yourself in a fight if need be, but that didn't mean he wanted you to be in a fight.

"Stay safe Notte." He went back to the warship, ready to work.

"Dr. L/N Y/N reporting for duty." You walked in your luggage in hand. A little disheveled from the jumping Koby did.

"Ah yes! You're right on time, did you have a delay?"

Yes. "No, I just was trying to make sure that I had everything I would need for myself and it took a little while." Ugh me and him need to have a serious talk about the kissing, he doesn't like to stop with just one.

He just wants your body once he's done he'll throw you away.

Before you could dwell anymore on your self-doubt, you listened to Kong-San give you detailed instructions.

"You are not to leave your quarters. You will have access to a stove in order to cook and prepare your own meals. Isolation is required from this point out. The only one you will be with is your guard. You will be escorted to the War ship Mega once on board you will go to your room. You will stay there and have no physical contact with anyone. Understood?"

"Yessir!" Good thing you brought your sketch books.

"Everything typical brought will be search thoroughly." What?  "Any communication devices will be confiscated and will not be returned until you arrive back at HQ." Crap.

"Any questions?"

"No sir."

"Very well. Come in." You turned to see a tall man with sunglasses on his face and what looked like a dango dessert on his face.

"This is your assigned guard Vergo. He's a Vice Admiral for a specific unit. You're in good hands. You will have an hour to buy everything that you need in terms of food and drinks."

"Hello Major General. Or do you prefer Dr?"

"Dr. please. Dr. L/N Y/N, thank you for your time and service Vice Admiral Vergo." He smiled that damn dango still attached to his mouth.

"Same here to you. Shall we go shopping now?"

Kong handed you the budgeted amount. 1 million belis seemed like a lot to you, but you didn't know how much the man accompanying you could eat.

Is he ever going to remove the dango from his face?

You were exhausted, not only did you spend all the money, he insisted on trying all the food stands you past. After the first one though you couldn't eat another bit, it was obvious who was going to eat most of the food.

"One more stand and we should still have time to make it aboard during our scheduled time."

"Sir I need to us the ladies room. May I please be excused for a moment."

"Ah I'm sorry how thoughtless of me. I suppose I can try the last one for when we return. Let us head towards the ship."

"Forgive me sir but I need to use it right now. The coffee shop here has one for customers. Would you mind buying me a pastry?"

"Hmm don't take too long."

Coming from the guy who wasted practically all of our time eating? Fuck off.

"No worries sir."

You ran into the room did your business than called Koby. When he didn't answer you left a message for him to listen to later. When you walked out Vergo now had a scone stuck to his cheek.

"You're right that didn't take long, let us go Dr."

It was going to be a long painful trip traveling with this man. But you'd experienced worse before.

When you arrived to the ship the press was already there trying to get a story out of anyone they could. Morgans himself was also there.

"We are not allowed to say anything." It was a seaman that he was bullying.

"C'mon man. Just a small confirmation."

"SEAMAN!" You yelled. "You so much as say anything I will make sure you're sent back to basic training with Garp. Get back to your post." He was about to argue until he saw your rank.

"Yes Major General!" This also got Morgans' attention. When he turned to see you he walked over to you.

"You must be Major General L/N. AKA Dr. L/N AKA the Ghoul Doctor. I am very pleased to meet you." You nodded your head and proceeded to walk.

"L/N if you could just answer a quick question I would appreciate it." You glared at him under the brim of your hat you marched back to him. And even though he overpowered you in height you made yourself as threatening as possible.

"It's DR. L/N. You will treat my position with respect. I will not answer anything for you, because we were sworn to secrecy. Now if you don't mind we're on a tight schedule. The Marines will be writing our reports when everything is finished and the processes will be made known once a decision is made. Now Morgans let me ask you something." You came even closer you smiled again when he stepped back. "You ever wonder why I'm called the Ghoul Doctor? Have a nice day."

You were checked in, and Kong wasn't kidding everything was checked. They even took your hair out and felt through the strands to make sure you weren't hiding anything in there. When you were showed to your room it was like a little apartment, there were two rooms, a kitchen a sitting area, and a bathroom.

"Well sir I'm going to get settled in. I'll see you later."

"Very well."

Once inside you place everything in drawers you laid down on the bed and felt your eyes get heavy. You hadn't realized how tired you were from the day. You went through your head about who they would get to replace you while you were away.

They may even find a replacement for you while you're away. Someone who can be cheerful, approachable and kind. And even Koby, he'll probably wake up and realized that they're better options out there than you. Prepare to be moved from Garp's ship when you return.

You ignored the self-doubt rising up, you allowed your eyes go close. Soon sleep overcame you. You didn't dream thankfully.

"Dr. L/N, please wake up." You felt shaking and a deep voice rumbling around the room. It took you a moment to remember that you were aboard the Warship Mega, you were sharing a space with a man you just met, and you'd fallen asleep.

"Vice Admiral Vergo. Have we departed yet?"

"Yes that was yesterday."

"Yesterday???!!!"

"Indeed you slept for 23 hours. I figured you needed to be awoken to eat something. I made curry and rice if you're okay joining me."

"Uh yessir. Just uh would it be okay if I showered really fast? You can eat without me." He gave you a warm smile.

"I'll wait, it'd be a little lonely to eat by myself. See you in a little while." He left and you took out your marine issues grey sweat pants and your marine issued T-shirt. You didn't really wear other clothes, except for when you met up with Koby. Thinking about the male made you lonely. You shook it off and ran into the bathroom with your soap and shampoo. The smell of curry making your stomach growl.

When you came out Vergo had started placing the plates on the table. You got the cups and tea, when you both sat down, at first you just ate.

"For someone who's called the Ghoul Doctor you don't appear to be all that ghoulish..."

"It's more to do with my personality."

"Gloomy disposition on life?"

"Something like that." You continued to eat. But the eyes on you started to get uncomfortable. "Was there something else you wanted ask sir?"

"No." Now he had a potato stuck to his face. This man is weird.

-Koby's POV-

It'd been four days since Y/N left, he hadn't heard from her, and every time he tried to reach you, the line just kept ringing. He was beyond frustrated and irritated. He took it out on his sparring partners, and worked extra hard in the gym.

On the evening of the 4th day he'd had enough of people. No one but Helmeppo and Grount knew why he was upset.

"Maybe you should try doing something she would enjoy? What does Y/N like to do when she's not working or training?" Helmeppo asked one night.

"She likes the beach and the ocean." Koby grunted.

"Go for a walk then. You're starting to scare everyone around you. They're used to your cheerful attitude and if you aren't careful to everyone is going to find out about you two." Grount growled in a low voice

Koby huffed but before he went off the ship, he grabbed the personal den den mushi as well, he knew it wasn't going to work, but it was the one thing you'd given to him before you left. The only gift he'd received from you. No that wasn't true you also gave the gift of your trust and love.

He went barefoot liking the feel of the warm sand between his toes, and the cool water that would occasionally reach his feet. He started to mess with the den den mushi, when he heard a beeping noise come from it.

"What the...??"

"Koby it's me...I don't have a lot of time so I'm going to make this short. They are going to confiscate my den den mushi before I board the warship. I will be in confinement with a man called Vice Admiral Vergo. We aren't allowed any contact with anyone except the person we are to travel with. I didn't want to leave you with nothing and think that I was ignoring you or that I didn't care. But it's going to take a week to get to the island. And a week to come back and who knows how long this battle will last between the two men. Koby stay safe, and I...I Uh...Ahem! I love you. If you feel like your missing me. Just take a stroll by the ocean, that's one of my favorite things to do. I promise I'll take you on a date when I get back. I gotta go. Again stay safe!"

Beep beep-end of message would you like to delete?

It was your voice!! A voice that was airy and light but very monotone. A voice that he'd gotten used to hearing for almost a year. He felt tears starting to come to his eyes.

"She thought about me..." Koby felt like an idiot, for a few moments he doubted you. If your feelings were sincere, and if you actually loved him. "She really loves me. Sniff." He was now crying and smiling at the same time. "I should figure out how to send one back."

He walked with a new vigor, only problem was that he had been so distracted that someone had seen and heard him.

"Big news!!! Captain Koby has a lover!!!! Oooohhh I wonder who it is!!! The message didn't mention a name. If only I could've gotten more information about where the Mega Warship. Damn Doctor getting in my way." Morgans huffed off and stomped off in the opposite direction already trying to find out who the kind of girl who could steal the young man's heart.

~15 days later~

Koby was leading a training session, he saved the message you had sent him and listened to it over and over again. Mostly before he went to bed, your voice soothing him to a peaceful slumber; when the voice on the intercom announcer came on, he jumped.

"ATTENTION WARSHIP MEGA HAS RETURNED!!! THEY HAVE RETURNED!!!"

"Aokiji-San is back!!! No doubt he's the one who was triumphant!!!" Grount practically flew out of the training hall and went to meet the ship at the docks. Koby excused everyone and he himself went at a run, wanting to one see who he would be working under, and to see the girl he'd missed for almost four weeks.

The Warship Mega came into the docks, the marine logo proudly being displayed. His heart fell, the one who stood proud and tall at the mast wasn't Admiral Aokiji, but Admiral Akainu. In truth this was what Koby had hoped wouldn't happen. He turned to see Grount's crestfallen gaze, as if there were tears that he wasn't willing to shed in front of so many people.

He couldn't see you yet, he stretched his haki far, when he felt your presence his heart gave a leap of relief. You were safe! But something wasn't right, your aura was depressed. More so than usual, and he couldn't just rush to you. But dammit he wanted to.

The docks erupted into cheers for their new Fleet Admiral. Aokiji nowhere to be seen. It was both joyful and somber. When the ship finally stopped, Akainu was the first to descend, after him, all the Vice Admirals did as well, except for Smoker, he was nowhere to be found. And then the medical staff came out. But you were still nowhere to be seen. Koby felt you moving with someone next to you. More than one person.

Then he made out your form, and behind you two other larger forms came out. Koby was about to yell your name when his voice stayed in his throat.

You were injured. A bandage covered the right side of your face, and you right hand was in a cast. You were not fine by any means! What the hell had happened to you.

"What happened to Y/N? She looks badly hurt!" Helmeppo sounded just as worried as Koby felt, without waiting for permission, he ran to you and the two men behind you.

~Reader's POV~

You could feel him, his bright yellow aura coming towards you. You wanted so bad to see him, at the same time you wished that he would simply stay away. You didn't want him to see you. Not like this. You had attempted to put your hat on to try to hide the bandages, but when it became evident that wouldn't work you simply let them be seen.

"Aokiji-San!!!!!!" Grount yelled, you flinched. "Aokiji-San what happened?" But the man didn't answer him, he simply patted his head and walked his walk of shame to the HQ office.

"Hey Y/N what happened to Aokiji-San? What happened to you? Why are you hurt?"

"I can't say. I have to make my reports. I'll be back to active duty in two months. Excuse me."

"Your kidding right? Hey Y/N! Don't ignore me dammit!!!"

Koby and Helmeppo walked up to you, but something caught their attention.

"Is that what I think it is?" Helmeppo couldn't keep the disbelief from his voice.

A soldier in a casket. The Marine flag place over top of it.

"He was murdered. An assailant tried to murder Akainu, that man protected him." You barely chocked it out.

"Oooo big news!!! An attempted assassination? A brave soldier who just couldn't cut it? Oooo this will be great! Oh Doctor you look worse for ware. What happened to you? Ooooo I heard that the Kid pirates were spotted in those same waters. Maybe they did this!!!!!"

"They didn't." You simply stated and started to walk away.

"What makes you so sure?" You turned to face the bird man. Your eyes devoid of any emotion, causing Morgans to physically flinch but he still took a photo of your face.

"This was the work of a coward. Someone who wasn't brave enough to face Fleet Admiral Akainu head on so attempted to murder him in his sleep. Eustass "Captain" Kid is many things. However he is not a coward."

You left it at that and continued your walk. But before you could get too far Koby appeared by your side.

"Y/N...are you alright?"

"I'm not blind if that's what you're asking."

"No I mean...what happened? How did you get hurt?"

"Capatin Koby. You will know what happened after the report is filed. Excuse me."

Koby stared at you in disbelief, you hadn't called him Captain when it was just you two in hearing range in a while. He didn't follow you. He simply stared at your back, your aura was no longer a vibrant lavender color, it was muddled with black now. There was now a deep despair in your heart. He was determined to find the answer.

About 6 hours later you were finally able to leave. You were tired, hungry and especially cranky. Each person had given their accounts of everything individually and you had been the last one to do so. You walked to the ship, eager to drink a rice malt and than slip into a deep slumber. Although you wondered how peaceful your rest would actually be. You felt him in the infirmary before you walked in.

"Captain Koby are you in need of a physical?"

"How did you know it was me? You hadn't even walked into the room yet."

"I just figured you'd be here. If you're not here to be treated than I suggest you leave so that I can rest, I've had a long journey and tonight I am tired."

"Y/N what happened to you?"

"Nothing it worry about." You stood there not wanting to speak another word so you didn't. Koby seemed like he wanted to say something but refrained. Instead he kissed your forehead and left the room.

Awe~ now your boyfriend is upset with you. Although...if he ever learns the truth about what you did...he may just come to hate you forever.

The face of the man you'd killed appeared before you. Bloody, pale and spiteful. The man who was responsible for helping awaken your observation haki. The soldier who had been wheeled to be buried.

"He'll never want to be with me ever again."

So lie. You've done it before it shouldn't be that hard.

"I will never lie. It is a waste of time."

You lied just now. Hahaha and you lied about my death to the big guys upstairs. Why? To spare your guilt? Sucks cause I'm here to remind you.

"Indeed." You knew what you needed to do but it was going to hurt...a lot.

"I'm sorry Koby."

Holy moly!!!!! Finally an update this chapter took almost two weeks to write!!! It's sooooooooooooooooooooo much longer than all my other chapters. It'll be a while before I update this story again!!!!
