About four days later all hell broke loose in more ways than one. First, the debates for the new Fleet Admiral were ongoing, and they were the cause of a lot of divide among the Navy and World Government. It caused a lot of infighting as well even on your ship. You were getting a little fed up with the amount of people coming in cause they got into a fist fight over it.

The other was you and Koby telling Helmeppo and Grount about your relationship but you'd asked them to not say anything, cause you both wanted to keep it a secret.

"You both are dumb. Why not just let everyone know?" Grount and you had just finished sparring, you of course lost and had bruises all over, while he only had a black eye. You'd gotten in one good hit. That's all he had allowed.

"Koby has a lot of rivals. He's well known amongst pirates, and he even has a lot of enemies within the Marines. We don't want either us to be used as a tool against the other."

You walked into the infirmary to find a brawl happening.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU IDIOTS DOING??!" Grount's voice echoed and everyone stilled. When they looked back and saw you, the lined up, and stood at attention.

You looked around to find your office area, medical herbs, and medicines a mess, they'd even broken one of the beds.

"What started this debacle?" You knew the answer already but figured you'd give these men a chance to apologize.

"Nothing Dr." So much for owning up.

"Bullshit. If it was nothing than you could've simply not fought in my infirmary. Caused a mess and property damage. I'll ask again. What was the cause of the fight?"

No one answered.

"Very well. Report to Captain Koby's office with Captain Grount they will decide your punishment."

"You can't order us around you dumb bitch!"

You were getting a migraine. Just because some people had started to get used to you, most of the soldiers had decided on not liking you and refused to listen to you, even though now you outranked most of them.

"You will listen to her, or you'll be charged with insubordination. Last time I checked that's a month the prison cells, bread and water and a deduction in pay." Grount growled. "You're a mere Foot Soldier with the lowest rank here. She is a Major General. Now move it!" Grount yelled that last part, they all gave you dirty looks and started walking. "Let me know if you need help Y/N. I'll see ya later."

You nodded your head.

"Dumb Ghoul bitch." Okay now you were really mad. You took two fingers and jabbed him in the temple, making him pass out. The other 4 that were on their way out, were shocked.

"Captain Grount those four will be under your jurisdiction. This one I think needs to be taught a lesson, when you're done letting Captain Koby k ow the situation will you please come back and carry him to the brig?"

Grount smiled at you.

"Sure thing Doc. Let's go you bastards!"

They all walked a little faster now. They probably thought you were a weakling and that's why they didn't feel the need to explain themselves to you at all, maybe you needed to show a little more force.

You started to take an inventory of the medicines that were meant to fill prescriptions and make a report of why you needed more and dispose of the ones you currently were looking at on the floor. There was a variety of them too. You sighed and started your task.

Not 20 minutes later, you heard the door open.

"Hey Grount thanks for coming back for him. I wouldn't be able to carry him."

You didn't get a response instead you felt lips touch your cheek.

"Are you okay Y/N?"

"Woah! Dammit Koby...must you do that?"

"Hehehe sorry. I was worried about you so I asked Grount to handle the 4 who helped make this mess. Are you okay?"

"Yeah I'm fine, I knocked him out after he called me a bitch a second time."

Koby frowned. He looked at the soldier passes out, then he looked in each direction seeming to try to sense for someone else. When it was confirmed that he couldn't, he pulled your face up to his to meet his lips, and gave you a very passionate kiss, which you returned.

"Mmm. Koby! Are you crazy?"

"There isn't anyone else around. Let me take him and I'll be back to help you with this mess." He kissed your cheek again, grunted as he threw the guy over his shoulder than walked off. You went back to what you were doing trying to calm your heart down.

-3 hours later-

You had been called to Garp's office, you'd made the report to Koby and he said he'd deliver it to the old man. Clearly he wasn't happy about what went down. Whether he was mad at you or not was yet to be seen. You knocked and heard a come in.

When you walked in you saw the guy you'd knocked and and the other 4 that had been in on the brawl.

"You wanted to see me sir?"

"Ah my favorite Ghoulish Doctor. Mind telling me what happened today in the infirmary."

"I was sparring with Captain Grount we were walking back to the medic bay, when we walked into the room, we saw these 5," you pointed at them without looking at them. "Fighting in the main room by the time I had gotten there everything was a mess and they refused to tell me why they started a fight."

"Oh but they told me. They fought over who would make a better Fleet Admiral."

"I kinda figured." They all looked at you the guy you'd knocked out glaring at you.

"If you knew then we didn't need a reprimand!"

"Boy I will punch you of you speak to your superior officers that way again. Do you hear me?"

The air became heavy with dread, they all went quiet.

"You 5 are to go back to basic training. You're going to be under Smoker's jurisdiction. C'mon in son."

The door opened again and the new Vice Admiral walked in. His two cigars burning, his frown ever present only he was pissed. You were just happy it wasn't directed at you.

"So these are the idiots who I need to beat the crap out of?"

They were terrified again, and you couldn't blame them, truthfully you were scared for them. You felt something on your head, Smoker was patting your head and had the smallest smile on his face.

"When they return they will be giving you a sincere apology. Hope to see you later Dr. L/N."

He made a motion for them to follow him and they left.

"Sorry you had to go through that Y/N. Are you really okay? Grount told me about how you knocked on of them out with just your fingers I'm impressed."

"I'm okay, I will need to go ashore though. I need to visit an Apothecary so I can restock my medical herbs."

"Why didn't you include that in your order form?"

"Cause the Navy doesn't have a need for them. The herbs I have are things that I myself purchased."

"Hmmm how long do you need ashore?"

"2 days at least. There's more than 1 apothecary on this island, if one doesn't have what I need I'll need to check the others until I refill my inventory."

"Very well. At the end of the week I'll let you do that. We're not going anywhere for a while, at least not until this Fleet Admiral mess is figured out."

You nodded your head and were excused.

Two days had passed and more and more infighting was happening on every ship, at least that's what the rumors were. Helmeppo apparently had friends on other ships, they'd gotten into a fist fight right in front of him, he broke it up. But now, he and Koby were with you ashore helping you find everything you needed.

"I'm telling you this shit is getting old!" Helmeppo shouted as you all walked down the road. You were all in civilian clothes, you had on jean shorts, and a black crop top tshirt, your hair was down and you were wearing your bracelet that Koby had given you. Koby was wearing a white tshirt, black board shirts, and his standard yellow floral headband and glasses. Helmeppo wore jeans, and a tank top with his sunglasses. You'd told them that you could go alone but Koby had wanted to go with you and Helmeppo said he needed some time away from everyone.

"I hear you Helmeppo-San. What happened in the infirmary with Y/N-San was just the tip of the iceberg." Koby reached for your hand to hold and you let him.  You squeezed his hand and he squeezed back.

"Can you two not act so lovey-dovey in front of me please?"

"Helmeppo-San, we're dating in secret...we can't really make excuses to see each other on ship, this is really the only time we can spend time together." Koby squeezed your hand again and looked at you. You flushed and took out your list.

"Ahem, the first apothecary is just up ahead we'll need Belladonna, Lavender, Mint, Aloe, Valerian, Ginko leaves and Chamomile."

"Nice change of topic Y/N. Seems you're not used to being a girlfriend yet." Helmeppo teased.

"I've never had a boyfriend before so no I guess I don't know."

Helmeppo groaned anew your statement had caused Koby to smile a very goofy happy smile he even got a little spring in his step and walked faster with you toting behind him.

While inside you gave your list to the lady inside. She took note of your appearance and Koby's hand in yours.

"Not exactly the place most young couples go for a date."

"Ah, well we need these aboard our ship. If we can find everything we need in one place we'll be able to do something a little more romantic...I guess."

"Hehehehe sorry I'm teasing you. And you need enough to last at least a year and wow...this is a lot."

"I have a Navy check, I'm willing to pay extra for the rush of any of them."

"Navy? You guys are marines? Don't you have medicine there already."

"I prefer to use medicinal herbs whenever I can to replace things that can be considered addictive to take. Plus there's less side effects with herbs than with drugs."

She looked at you again and smiled.

"I can have this all ready by tomorrow. I want 20,000 beris down payment. And if that doesn't cover everything it'll be more."

"Understood." You wrote out the check and handed it to the woman. She dismissed you and you gave her your personal den den mushi code.

"I'll call you when I have everything ready.
Have a good day."

With that you all three left, Koby took your hand again and pulled you into an alleyway, he quickly kissed you before placing his forehead on yours.

"Shall we get lunch Y/N?" You blushed and nodded. You were not going to get used to this affection thing anytime soon.

"Hey you guys! Don't ditch me to make out! Let's go I'm starving!!!!"

Koby just chuckled and kept his hand in yours. Never once did he let go.

Hey guys!!! Finally updated this story again!!! I'll be getting into more about the Fleet Admiral position and after that, we will get more into Y/N's past before joining the marines, and we will also get to meet Law again before I take another Hiatus from the story.

I'm hoping that Oda let's us see Koby more in the next arc of One Piece, I'll even include moments where in the One Piece films that Koby makes an appearance. I want to wait on the manga and the movie RED before I delve too much further. But fear not, there will be at least 3-5 more chapters before the hiatus happens.
