"There you have it.Everything is fine"Irene announced as he wiped the jell off Jungkook's tummy.

"I don't think he heard you"Jungkook whispered while looking at Taehyung who was studying his copy of the sonogram.

"He is amazed.Most first time father's do that"

"I bet he can't understand anything by looking at that"Jungkook smiled looking at his husband who was sitting right besides him but acted like he was a million miles away.

"Taehyung,we are done here. I have written out a prescription for the prenatal vitamins he would need .You can get them at  the pharmacy before you leave."Irene said.

"Is that all.Shouldnt you have more in depths test to know if this pregnancy is  actually safe for him"the alpha asked as he placed the sonogram in his wallet.

"Taehyung,why are you making things hard for her.She is my OB and if she sees anything wrong or out of the ordinary she will let us know"

"Jungkook is absolutely right.For now everything is perfect.He just has to keep away from stress.Hypertension isn't good for the baby and it's the main cause of miscarriages in the early stages.Always keep him happy so he will have happy thoughts"

"You need to take a chill pill, father of the year"Jungkook teased as he held out his hand for Taehyung.

"Just imagine what will happen if anything goes wrong during this pregnancy.Your father will surely have my head if that happens"

"I will be OK.We both will be ok"Jungkook smiled to assure the alpha.

"I will start working on your diet chart and I will pass it through Taehyung once it ready"

"Thank you"

"And yoga classes are important as well"

"Yes doctor"

"And Taehyung,it's your duty to ask Jungkook how ,he feels , how the baby is and what he wants to eat.No matter how busy you get , you should never negligent him.He needs all your attention.When one is pregnant they get moody so you will have to be patient and tolerant towards him"

"That sounds easy"

"Jungkook I will look forward to your baby journal"

"I know nothing about it but I'm gonna try. I will ask my mom"

"Or your mother in law. I heard you are close"

"I surely will ask her."

"Let's go. I want you to go home and rest."

"You see what I put up with. I won't be working here for a while and he doesn't give me the chance to say good bye"Jungkook frowned.

"Fine ,go and say goodbye while I get your dismissal letter ready."

"Is this your way of kicking me off the pay roll"

"Mind you , you aren't on maternity leave but you are being totally fired .That way you will not have a job to worry about.Instead you will think more about the baby"

"Since I won't be working I want you to double my monthly allowance"

"What excatly are you planning to do with all that money.Ever since we got engaged you had been getting a monthly allowance until now.On top of that you get paid at work"

"I just want money.You never know when I might get divorced and be left with nothing.Life is unpredictable"

"What can I say Mrs Kim"Taehyung grumbled.He was sure that Jungkook wanted to suck him dry financially because he had gotten him pregnant.

"I take it that you have accepted my condition."Jungkook grinned evily.

"What choice have you given me?"Taehyung felt bullied but unfortunately for him he couldn't do anything about it.

Jungkook went to the chemist to get his meds.He was completely startled when Jennie pooped up in front of him coming from nowhere.

"Hie"Jungkook started

"I honestly didn't think you could ever do this to me.So much for being best friends"

"I'm going to become an aunt and you didn't even tell me"she continued

"I was going to announce it.How did you know anyways"

"Taehyung just announced it on the family group chart just about now"Jennie smiled.

"Why am I even suprised. I'm the one who is pregnant and yet he didn't even ask me beforehand"

"You can't blame him.This is such a huge thing for him. I'm happy for you both.Congrats"

"I just wish we had actually planned it"

"You didn't?"Jennie asked in suprise.

"It just happened.We both didn't want to have  a baby this early"

"Either way I'm jealous"

"I have a feeling I'm going to hate this pregnancy"he sulked

"Why do you feel that way when you should be damn happy"

"I just got fired.What will I do at home.Eat nuts?"

"It's for the best"

Taehyung made sure to give Jungkook his dismissal letter before going home.The omega was bitter because he had to leave work therefore he needed someone to rant to.He called his mother over so she could give him some of her wise words and some useful tips regarding the pregnancy.

Mrs Jeon was exctatic.Even more than Jungkook was.A few moments later Taehyung's mother and grandmother arrived.They couldn't wait to see the omega to confirm the news.Jungkook was getting overwhelmed by the attention he received from the three women.They had tea while chatting and sharing their pregnancy experiences as well as tips.

As soon as the ladies left Jungkook took a long nap.Everything in his life was going at a speed that he couldn't seem to understand.When he woke up there were missed calls from Hoseok.The man had just reminded him  of things he didnt want to  recall.Heediately called the oncologist back.

"Hello hyung"

"Jungkook you know we have to talk about your situation.You know you can't be pregnant"

"And here I thought you were going to congratulate me"

"Stop being cheeky. I'm telling your husband"

"You will do no such thing. I will tell him when the time comes"

"Come and meet me tomorrow.If you don't show up then I'm telling Taehyung"

"I will come then we can talk"

"Good.Remember I only have your good intentions at heart"

Even when Taehyung came back home that night his happiness of being a father never deminished.This just put Jungkook  between a rock and a hard place.His husband was so happy and that made him want to fight and give birth to this baby no matter what the odds were.

They slept closely together.Taehyung held Jungkook tight and never stopped kissing him and make him giggle .Cuddling had never felt so good before.

Jungkook left the house with his chauffeur only an hour after his husband did.His visit to the hospital was supposed to be confidential.

"I'm here.Lets keep it short"

"Take a seat"

Jungkook sighed and did as he was told.

"Today we aren't going to talk like fellow doctors but as doctor and patient"

"I understand that"

"I bet you already know why I wanted to talk to you"

"I'm keeping the baby"he deadpan

"Are you aware of the risk"

"I am hyung"

"Are you sure this is what you want.?"

"I have never been more certain any anything else in my life"

"Jungkook you need to put your health first.If it's about babies you can have more once you cured"

"I just want this baby to live.Nothing else"he said desperately

"You might die if you wait for that long to get treated"

"You said that I'm in the first stage so I will be fine.And I know that my health situation won't affect the baby"Jungkook knew that he might give birth to the baby in the end but he might not live long enough to see it.It was such a cruel fate.

"Jungkook you need to rethink this.If you don't then I'm telling someone. I'm sure your husband would want you to have an abortion and start treatment right away"Hoseok pointed out

"I don't want an abortion and hyung if you really consider me your little brother like you claim then you will not tell anyone.Promise me"

"And what do you think will happen when Taehyung finds out that I hid something important because you asked me to"

"Hyung you did your job by diognosing me.The rest is my decision."

"Just please promise me that you will hang in there for me"

"I will try but I certainly won't die until I give birth to this baby"

"I'm really mad at you for being reckless.It wasn't that long when I told you were ill and the next month you went and got yourself pregnant."

"I was already a month pregnant when I came here hyung.Its just I didn't know"

"If you die then I become an accomplice you know that.Your husband already hates me"the alpha said sourly.

"Hyung I  will be forever indebted  to you if you do this for me"

"But if you die I will never forgive myself"Hoseok said wholeheartedly and Jungkook felt bad.The last thing he wanted was someone feeling guilty for the choice that he made for himself.

"Stop talking about dying.That won't happen"

Jungkook's phone rang and they both glanced at it.Knowing Taehyung he would want to know where Jungkook is.

"You might want to answer that"

"I should"

"Hey baby"

"Where are you?"

"I'm at home.Where would I be?"

"Did you have your meds.Are you resting"

"You don't have to worry about me. I just want you back home soon"

"Can you send me your nudes"

"Fuck off. I'm hanging up so you can go back to work"
