Jungkook had lost track of time while chatting with Moonbin about the old times.The alpha's experiences at Hopkins were hilarious or rather made up.

When he glanced at his watch it was almost eleven and he had to go.The alpha offered to drive him home since he hadn't come with his own car.

Taehyung saw it all.He saw a car pulling up on the drive way from the balcony of their bedroom.He saw the man coming out of the car and opening the door for his omega.Jungkook even had the nerve to smile at that same man.Taehyung had anticipated them to do something more implicating but they didn't.It would have been an excuse for him not to marry the omega.

Spending time with Moonbin and listening to his terrible jokes made Jungkook feel a whole lot better and forgot all about Taehyung and Lisa.

"It's so good of you to finally show yourself here"Taehyung said, his voice maddeningly calm.

Jungkook wasn't in the mood and as a result he ignored the alpha.He don't need this tonight.He should have known that the alpha wasn't quite himself.

"You have the nerve to ignore after what you have done.How bold of you.Its amusing"

"Can you please move out of my way"

"Where are you coming from"Taehyung gripped the omega's wrist to stop him from walking away.

"I was working late"he told flatly without maintaining eye contact.

"Where?"

"At the hospital"

"Which hospital because you certainly weren't there. I will have you know that giving me attitude won't work well with me"

"So what if I wasn't there. I don't see why I have to report my every move to you. I'm my own person and I have my own life.You aren't my father so if you want someone you to tell what to do then wait until you have your own child"

"Don't make me ask again.Where were you and whom were you with and it's better if you  mind the way you talk to me.If you lie to me again I will make you regret ever knowing me"the alpha's eyes burned with fury

"Then do your worst because I'm not going to tell you anything.You don't own me"Jungkook spat viciously"Hypocrite"

That was it for Taehyung.He had reached his boiling point.He hit Jungkook across the face super hard."Crazy bitch"

The omega held his cheek in terror, eyes wide in disbelief.He looked terrorized, bewildered.His stomach dropped and it made him sick.His eyes stung.Maybe he had gotten what he had asked for.

"I warned you didn't I? Next time think hard  before you use that tone on me because I will make the rest of your miserable life hell"

Jungkook had finally realised it.Taehyung had something to drink.A lot of it maybe.If he had known then he would have been careful.If Taehyung wanted to make a point , Jungkook had gotten it loud and clear.

"You are crying?Why?Are you hurt?"Taehyung gripped Jungkook's jaw forcebly and made him look into his eyes.

Taehyung chuckled"You are so weak but yet you try to act up. I'm sure your parents would love to know about what happened today.About how their almost married omega goes out with other men and comes back in the middle of the night doing God knows what"

Jungkook knew for certain that the story would get twisted and his father would never believe him.Anyone would think that he had done something vile.What would people think of him.

"Please don't tell them.Its just a misunderstanding. I will behave. I will do anything you want me to"the omega spoke up as soon as the alpha freed him.

"Anything?"Taehyung asked,a sickening smug plastered onto his lips.

"Yes"

"Then start by apologizing"the alpha ordered viciously, sliding his hands into the pockets of his sweatpants.

"I'm sorry for acting up"Jungkook cried."I won't ever do it again"

"Good.Go to bed now. I will join you very soon"Taehyung flashed a smile,a smile whose meaning was not unknown.

Jungkook went to their bedroom which was on the third floor.Without removing his clothes he ran into the shower and broke down so.Minutes later he reminded himself that he had to be asleep before Taehyung comes in.After that slap he slowly felt terror chiling his bones.
Jungkook was awake the whole night.That was how he noticed that Taehyung hadn't come to bed yet.He supposed since he was too drunk he had dozed off somewhere.

As hard to believe as it was Jungkook went to look for him .He found the alpha sleeping on his desk in his study.Since there wasn't any way he was going to carry him he went to get a blanket and a pillow for him.He closed the curtain and turned off the light.

Before going back to their bedroom he went to the kitchen to make himself a cup of herbal tea to ease his headache.He was still recovering from the shock.Taehyung 's violent behaviour had taken him off guard.He would have never expected that from him.

The next morning Jungkook feigned sleep while Taehyung got ready for work.

The alpha had to be kept far away from alcohol at an costs  because it brought out the worst side of him.

"Aren't you coming with me?"Taehyung asked as if he knew that Jungkook wasn't sleeping.

"I don't feel well"he lied

"Take the day off and also prepare for tomorrow"

Jungkook didn't want to saying anything more to Taehyung so he kept quiet.He was trying to figure out the alpha.Didnt he remember what happened the preceding night or he didn't want to talk about it at all.Was it he couldn't care less about what he had done to the omega.

Eventually the big bag wolf left without saying anything that hinted at the happenings of the preceding night. In a way he was relieved .After Taehyung's departure the omega slept like a baby only to wake up at eleven.The house helper made brunch for him and he took a bath afterwards..

To unwind he took a straw in their plush green garden.He had also grown quite a few pieces of plants and flowers there.After getting the much needed air he came back into the house.Just in time a delivery man appeared at the door with a bouquet of orchids and a note arched to it.He signed for the delivery and the man was on his way.

Before reading the note Jungkook displayed the foyer table with the flowers using the expensive vases that he had bought at a auction.Eventually he sat down to read the note and was shocked to find out who had sent the flowers.He had thought it was Moonbin trying to get him into more trouble.

Sorry about last night.

So Taehyung recalled what he had done.More than that the omega was moved because he had apologized.He felt like texting him right away.

Jungkook
You remember.

Taehyung
Yeah, that was uncool.I was pretty messed up

Jungkook
And drunk too.

Taehyung.
I hit you because I was mad because you had lied to me. I hate it the most.

Jungkook
I deserved being slapped because I lied to you. I should have never done that. I apologize again.
I should have just answered your questions truthful instead of being a bitch about it.

Taehyung
Me raising my hand to you can't be justified.

Jungkook
I only went out with a friend because I was feeling down. I should have told you that from the get go but I just got annoyed and said things I didn't mean.

Taehyung
Can we put this behind us. I know it won't be easy but I promise I will stay away from alcohol.

Jungkook
That would be for the best.Dwelling on the past won't do us any good.And I hope we could be transparent with each other.

Taehyung
You are right.Lets just hope for the best.

Jungkook was quite disappointed.He was hoping Taehyung would be open to him about why he went out with Lisa.Maybe transparency between them was a far cry.
