By the time Jay got home it was already late.

He thought his parents were already asleep but when he walked in the door, he saw them sitting on the couch watching TV.

"Do you know what time it is? Where did you go?" His mom asked coldly.

Jay said "I just went out with my friends".

His dad spoke while watching TV "Next time come home earlier. If you're late again, go to sleep outside".

She looked at her son "And don't get so caught up in playing that you forget to study!".

But in response to them was only silence from their son, Jay glanced at his parents for a moment and went back to his room.

Jay's silence made both of them feel helpless, like their son was becoming more and more distant from them.

"I really don't know what to do with him" Her husband shook his head "I'm tired, I'm going to bed now".

Jay's mom looked at her son's room for a while and then walked back to her bedroom too.

Undressing to step into the bathroom, the cold water refreshes him a bit. Jay closed his eyes thoughtfully thinking about his parents.

Jay's dad is a man of few words and he is also very strict too. The proof is what he said to Jay earlier in the living room.

If Jay can describe himself like his dad in what way, he guesses he resembles him in the part of few words.

His dad barely never at home, he just spends his time at work and that's all. Sometimes he still call Jay's mom or him to ask how the family is and through those calls, Jay thinks his dad still cares.

He guessed so.

And at the end of the week he will come home to stay for a few days, the whole family still eats dinner together. But that's it, literally nothing special.

Since the both of them don't have much contact with each other, maybe that's why he doesn't have much feelings for his dad. But at least Jay doesn't feel uncomfortable around him because he doesn't force him in many things.

Jay's mom is different, she's the complete opposite of his dad.

He and his mom has never been gentle with each other.

They can never talk to each other normally.

Never.

Ever since he was a child, she been always strict with him and he has to do what ever his mom wanted.

Deep down he knows she only wants the best for him but that doesn't mean she has the right to decide his life like that.

Sometimes he wondered if his mom ever thought about how he felt or just simply asked him.

Jay sighed heavily and turn off the shower, he wrapped the towel around his waist while opened the door. When he stepping out of the bathroom, he saw his little brother sitting on the bed staring at him.

"Why did you come into my room?" Jay wiped his hair by hand.

His brother said "I want to borrow your Rubik's Cube".

"Here, take it" Jay gave it to him.

"I know you're dating with Shelly" Kay smirked.

Jay frowned "How do you know?".

Kay smiled confident "I just know".

"Did you come into my room just to say that?" Jay glared at Kay.

Kay shrugged his shoulder "Thanks, brother" And walked out of the room.

Jay raised his eyebrows in confusion, go to the closet to get dressed and sit at the desk to finished the rest of his homework.

The morning is still the same as always, the whole class was noisy with the boys running around or the girls chatting about something. But Jay and Shelly are in their own world, they both telling each other stupid things while secretly holding hands under the desk.

As for Dom, he's sleeping on his desk and doesn't care at all.

And when the school bell rings, the teacher came in with a glared because the students haven't returned to their seats yet.

"Everyone go back to your seats!" He waited for the whole class to be quiet "Today our class will have new student, he just moved here so please treat him well".

The whole class got excited and talked around "Who could it be? Boy or girl?".

"Didn't the teacher say he's boy, I guess he's handsome" A female student eagerly.

The male student depressed "But I want the new student to be a pretty girl".

Jay and Shelly looked at each other with the same thought "What's so exciting about it?".

"Silent!" The teacher shouted and look at the classroom door "Okay, come in and say hello to everyone".

Door open and the new student walked in, he has dark blonde hair that is neatly combed and a friendly smile on his face as he wave his hand. 

"Hello, my name is Chan. Nice to be in the same class with you all" He winked.

The class started loudly again, the girls scream nonstop while the boys are frustrated. 

Shelly rests her head on Jay's shoulder "My ears~".

"Why do I think that guy looks familiar?" Dom mumbles to himself.

When the teacher pointed in Shelly's direction, all the girls looked at her with jealous and angry "That seat is empty, you go there and sitdown".

Chan smirked as he walked towards the seat, winking at Shelly to remind her that both of them had met before. Shelly froze for a moment, feeling that this guy might be crazy. But at the same time she kind of remembered who he was now, she glanced over and poked her boyfriend.

"I know what you mean!" Jay said "I recognize who that guy is too".

At recess, the group is happy because Yuna told them that Minu is walking much better. But the fun was suddenly cut off by a new friend named Chan.

Chan smiles "Remember me? My princess".

"Excuse me? Who are you calling princess??" Dom confused.

Chan looked at Shelly "Who else but this pretty blonde".

Yuna wondered "Uh... you know him, Shelly?".

"He's the member on the Punk Prince Crew" Shelly reminding her friends "We've been racing with his crew before!".

Dom froze "Oh now I remember him!!".

Chan approached Shelly and held out his hand to her.

"May I have the honor of going on a date with you, princess?" Chan smiles brightly.

Shelly said "I already have a boyfriend so pass".

"Boyfriend?? Don't tell me that you dating with this mustache guy?" Chan pointed at Dom.

Yuna frowned "What did you just call him?".

"What?? I didn't say anything wrong?" Chan mockingly said.

Dom saw Yuna's anger and held her hand while Mia was also rubbing her back to calm her down.

Mia glanced at Chan "Could you please go somewhere else?".

"Sorry! I don't take orders from you" He sarcastically to her.

"Hey speak politely!" Shelly angrily "They're my friends!".

"So who's your boyfriend then?" Chan doesn't give up.

Shelly furiously clenched her fists, she really wanted to punch this knucklehead right now and if Jay hadn't calmed her down, she would have done it. And when Shelly was about to speak, Jay suddenly cut her off.

"It's me! I'm her boyfriend!" Jay looked at Chan coldly.

Chan was surprised "Jay Jo? You dating with him?".

Shelly feel annoyed "It's none of your business! Go away".

"Fine! I won't give up. Wait there, princess. I'll get you!" Chan confident.

When he turned to leave, Shelly sighed heavily while Jay was still glaring at Chan. Dom thanked Yuna as she defended him and lightly scratched his head.

Dom frowned "Jeez, he's crazier than I thought".

"You should stay away from him, Shelly" Mia agrees.

Shelly nodded, turned to Jay and saw that he was focused on her too. She holding his hand and asked "What is it?".

Jay shook his head, chose to be silent and just rubbed her palm.

"Something is wrong...." He thought.
