I was surprised at this. What did he mean by that? Were there others like me? People with strange powers and abillities? "Are there others?" I ask. 

Riptide nods, "There are, including me."

 I started to get excited "What can you do? can you show me?" I ask. 

"Not here," he says. "How about I take you to meet some of the others and then I can show you,"

I knew better than to just go with some guy I just met, but I wanted to see what he meant. "Alright," I say. Riptide takes my hand and leads me to a building a few blocks away. It looked like some fancy club or something along those lines. He lead me to a room in the back and I saw three people in the room. One was a man who looked somewhere between 30 and 50, another a woman with blonde hair in a white bodysuit, and the third a man with bright red skin, black hair and a tail.

"So, you're back." the first man says, "and who is she?" 

"I'm Alyssa," I say. 

The woman looks at me for a moment, "She's one, too." she says. 

The first man looks at her, then at me. "So what exactly is your mutation?" he ask me.

 "My what?" I ask, then Riptide leans close to me. 

"Your powers," he whispers. 

"Right," I whisper, "Hydroknesis," I say, "water manipulation."

"I would love to see a demonstration," the man says. Riptide steps away from me and stands at the side of the room 

"Alyssa, remember asking what I could do?" he asks me. I turn to him and nod slowly. "Get ready," he says, and two small tornadoes start to form in his hands. On instinct, I looked around for some water, and noticed two buckets beside me.

I created a wall of water in front of me as he flung the tornadoes at me. when they subsided, I brought down half of my wall and created a tentacle, wrapping it around him. Before he could react, I brought him to the ground. After I let him go, the first man applauded. 

"Well, I believe some introductions are in order, then."

He introduced himself as Sebastian Shaw, the other man was Azazel, and the woman was Emma Frost. Shaw's powers were energy absorption, Azazel a teleporter, and Emma a telepath with a Diamond Form. Shaw holds out his hand to me, and I shake it.

"Welcome to the Hellfire Club."
