The Magician- Dean
I'm putting a warning for mild suggestions.
You were an amateur magician. You travelled from town to town, performing wherever you could, trying out new tricks here and there. Your ultimate goal was to perform in Las Vegas, Nevada. Sure, it was a town full magicians of all sorts but a girl can dream, right?
...
You were currently performing in a dingy bar. You had asked the owner's permission before going in as tonight you were only working for tips. It was late in the night which meant your audience was half drunk which worked to your advantage. You were in the middle of a game of 'Follow the Queen' when you saw a pair of new comers arrive. One was a tall brunet but it was the one with the green eyes that caught your attention.
"What about you, handsome? Care to take your chance?" you flirted. Before he could respond, a man stepped in front of you and slammed his money down.
"Double or nothin'!" he demanded, slamming his money down.
"Okay, sweetheart. It's your money..." After many rounds, you decided to wrap things up, causing the men to boo you.
"Sorry, boys, but I want to get at least a few drinks in before last call." The crowd dispersed and you headed over to the bar. Just before you were there, someone grabbed your wrist. You turned to see a heavily intoxicated male smirking at you.
"Hey, baby. How about you and me find a room and make the rabbit disappear into the hat?" Before you could respond, the man with the green eyes came up to you and wrapped his arm around your waist.
"Sorry, man. The lady already has a date tonight." The other guy backed away.
"Thanks for that..."
"No problem. I'm Dean by the way."
"I'm Y/N."
"That's a nice name... Can I buy you a drink?" he asked. You looked him up and down and smirked.
"I'll tell you what... If you can correctly guess what colour underwear I'm wearing, I'll buy you a drink." Now it was Dean's turn to smirk.
"I'm gonna guess... Black." You nodded and presented him with your sleeve.
"Pull this," you instructed, referring to the white cloth that was sticking out of your sleeve. Dean pulled it and all these different coloured cloths that were tied to each other continued coming until the last one which was a pair of black, lacy underwear.
"Huh. Looks like I owe you a drink, Dean," you smirked.
"Nice," he laughed.
...
After a few drinks, you and Dean were talking like old friends.
"So, you're a magician, huh?"
"Yeah... I figure better playing tricks in a bar than turning them," you shrugged. "Besides, a magician's best audience is a drunk one."
"Shame on you; taken advantage of all those drunk idiots," he mock scolded.
"Hey, I'm not as bad as my uncle. He used to steal the shoes off of all the passed out drunks and sell them back once they sobered up." That made Dean laugh.
"What made you get into the whole magic game?"
"Mmm... I guess I've always been interested in magic ever since I was a little girl... It's my dream to go to Vegas and I've been travelling from town to town, getting gigs wherever I can until I save enough."
"You don't have a partner or anything do you?" he asked, a sly tone to his voice.
"Nope. I'm all alone..."
"In that case... Think you could use a little company tonight?" he smirked.
"Sure, I've got a few more tricks up my sleeve," you winked.
