Huntress
Your pov
You continued to walked on the cobblestone patch until you heardthe meows of catcoons. you quickly hide towards the nearest bush, waiting for one to come closer towards you. After waiting awhile, a catcoon finally reached you. You gripped onto your spear, then lunged. You quickly ended it's life, by a quick stab in the neck. You drew back a sigh then picked up your food. As you turned around, Wilson bumped into you
"Ah!" You squeaked. Wilson grabbed your shoulders
"I-I'm sorry!" He stuttered. I took another deep breath. Wilson picked up the fresh kill, the held my hand.
"Let's go eat..." He muttered.
Once we reached the camp, he started to cook the catcoon. He pokes at the fire, then sits back. He looks away from the fire, and doesn't speak.
"What's wrong?" You ask him. He sighed.
"Do think we are going to get out of here?" He whispered. You reach out your hand to touch his shoulder, then hesitated.
"Wilson..." You started.
"Do you think we are going to get out of here?" He repeated, but more loud. You jump back, at the sudden anger in his tone. He looked away and put his head in his lap. You slowly get up, and take your share of the meat. You let a small tear fall off of your cheek. Didn't he care about you? You storm out of the camp, muttering to yourself. Wilson looked back at you.
"W-wait! I didn't mean to yell!" He cried. You start quickening your pace. Wilson was still crying out your name, but you kept running. You suddenly stop, then sit down by a tree and cry. He didn't have hope that they were going to leave this hellish place. Was he right? You grip onto the grass. You hear Wilson whacking away at long strands of branches. He looks around, the spots you.
"Go away." You sniff. He rubs his eyes, then comes closer.
"Look, I'm sorry. I just don't want to be here anymore..." He sighed. You look at him. You suddenly start to feel bad for making him think that you didn't like him. You grab his face, pulling him close.
"I love you, but I was just stressed." You mutter as you pull him in for a kiss. He accepts, and grabs your waist. You shiver at his touch. Suddenly, Wilson widened his eyes, then turned you around and shoved you out of the way. Spiders dragged his body towards a large nest, with Wilson screaming in pain. They bit at his face and arms, snarling in the process. You hold your mouth. Anger burned in your hands as you grabbed your spear and ran after him
"Wilson!"
